Chapter 5

After a short walk from the Pokemon Center, the sisters had made their way back to the gym with Violet taking the CLOSED sign on the front door down and allowing Daisy to unlock it and let them inside. Then they went to the pool area where they did a little cleanup and then waited for challengers to come in,

They did not have to wait long as a Lass trainer entered the gym looking for a gym battle to earn a Cascade Badge. She went to the pool room where she found Daisy, Violet, and Lilly.

"Hello, I'm looking for the gym leader so that I can challenge them for a Cascade Badge" she stated.

"Well, you're in luck because we are the gym leaders the Sensational Sisters!" Daisy answered referring to herself, Lilly, and Violet as they struck a pose.

"Oookay, can I just have a battle, please? The Lass asked.

"Oh sure just help us clean the pool" Violet replied

"Sure no problem" the Lass replied.

The group of girls then set out to clean the pool making sure that it was clean. Finally, after a little while, they were done, and they were beside the pool while Misty was hiding on Togepi watching everything that was happening.

"All right now that the pool's done let's have a battle," the Lass said.

"Unfortunately all we have is a Goldeen" Violet replied.

"Yeah if we had a Seaking we'd battle you" Lilly added

"Oh that's too bad," The Lass said.

"Well for helping us clean the pool you've earned the Cascade Badge" Daisy replied walking over to give the girl the Cascade Badge.

"Thanks for the badge" The Lass replied before turning to walk away from the sisters to exit the gym. Meanwhile Misty was fuming at what she had just seen.

"Strike one" Misty gritted through her teeth.

After that, a Bug Catcher came in also looking to battle and earn a badge. However, like before instead of a battle the Sensational Sisters had him help feed the Pokemon in the gym and that act earned him a badge.

"Strike two" Misty said still fuming with anger at her sister's actions.

A short while later a third trainer came into the gym this one was a Picnicker and for the third time instead of battle, they asked her to watch a practice run of a mermaid show that the sisters were planning for the future. That earned the young trainer the Cascade Badge and like the trainers before her left the gym in confusion. Once they were by themselves Misty had to let her frustrations out.

"Alright, that's enough Daisy. Lilly and Violet get over here now!" Misty shouted angrily loud enough for them to hear her they then walked over to her stopping when they were right in front of her and Togepi.

"What's up Misty?" Daisy asked.

"Yeah you look angry," Violet said

"Because I am angry at your laziness around the gym and now you're just giving badges away," Misty said.

"Well duh, Misty, you know that we hate battling" Lilly responded.

"I do know that Lilly which, is why I'm going to teach the three of you how to battle" Misty announced.

Silence rang over the entire gym as Daisy, Violet, and Lilly looked at Misty with surprised looks on their faces.

"What like you teach us to battle?" Daisy asked.

"Yep" Misty replied

"Well considering that we're talented in almost every other area except for battling and more beautiful than you," Lilly said.

"Well, wouldn't you like to have one more talent to brag about over me," Misty said, knowing that it would feed her sister's ego?

"You're on," Violet said.

A short while later the gym was closed and Misty and her sisters stood beside the pool

"Alright Lilly you take one side, and Violet you take the other" Misty ordered

Violet and Lilly each did as they were told and each held a Poke Ball in their hands.

"Go!" Both of them shouted as they threw the Poke Balls into the air and they opened up to reveal Misty's Goldeen on one side and her Staryu on the other side.

"Now Goldeen, Staryu I want you to listen to both Lilly and Violet okay?" Misty asked.

Both Staryu and Goldeen nodded while saying their names confidentially.

"Alright let the battle begin!" Misty shouted.

"Goldeen like use Horn Attack!" Violet commanded

The Goldfish Pokemon charged through the water at the Star Shape Pokemon. However, Lilly had the perfect counter-strategy ready to counter Goldeen's attack,

"Staryu jump into the water and dodge it!" Lilly ordered.

Staryu jumped into the water right in front of the oncoming Goldeen as its horn became encased in white color. However, Staryu dodged it by swimming to the side of the oncoming attack.

"Now Staryu like use Water Gun" Lilly ordered.

Staryu fired a stream of water from one of the tips on its star-like body. Even though it was not a very effective attack it still damaged Goldeen a little bit. Both Water-type Pokemon then resurfaced above water.

"Now use Water Gun!" both Lilly and Violet commanded. Both Pokemon shot streams of water that collided with each other. The streaming battle ended in a draw.

"Alright let's take a break," Misty announced.

Both Lilly and Violet nodded and returned Goldeen to their Poke Balls. Then the sisters heard a noise coming from the front area of the gym.

"Like what was that?" Lilly asked in confusion.

"I don't know let's go check it out" Daisy replied.

They all nodded and Daisy then placed Misty on her shoulder so that her tiny younger sister could hide behind her blonde hair.

Lilly grabbed Togepi into her arms and then the sisters left the pool area and went to the reception area of the gym where they saw two of the weirdest looking reporters that they had ever seen. One was a female with the tips of her orange hair sticking out while the male cameraman beside her had blue-green hair.

"Uh, who are you?" Daisy asked.

"My name is Chloe and this is my cameraman Ben and we're with the Pokemon News Channel. We're looking to interview the Sensational Sisters" Chole said.

"Well you're in luck here we are" Violet replied.

"You were down on you're lucky when it came to you're water ballet shows however, recently you've made a comeback. What do you attribute to your success?" Chole asked.

"Well our little sister Misty helped us out with a show called The Underwater Ballet" she was the star of the show" and it was a huge hit that helped revitalize the fan's interest in our shows and we've just returned from a trip around the world. So fans can expect to see several new and exciting things from the Sensational Sisters" added Violet.

However, just then "Chole" saw Misty poke her head out from behind Daisy's hair an evil smile crossed her face and she pulled out a Poke Ball and threw it into the air

"Go Hounder use Smokescreen!" she shouted. The Poke Ball opened up to reveal a black dog with a red face. It then open its mouth and let a massive amount of black smoke from its mouth, shrouding everything in darkness. Now blinded by the smoke and also coughing by inhaling it as well Daisy accidentally bumped into Violet causing both of them to fall onto the ground.

Misty's fall was thankfully broken by Daisy's body. However, she was still disoriented from it. Then she felt fingers wrap around her tiny body and lift her into the air.

"Daisy!" Misty shouted as she was taken away

"Misty!" Daisy shouted as she tried to reach out to Misty but grabbed nothing but air as she then heard the two thieves leave the gym.

Finally, the smoke dissipated allowing the sisters to stand up to their feet Daisy then turned to Violet and Lilly with a determined look on her face.

"Let's go get Misty back," Daisy said

Both Lilly and Violet nodded and three went to the aquarium and then grabbed a few Poke Balls and returned the Pokemon to them. Daisy then grabbed on last Poke Ball and then the sisters made their way to the front of the gym and with Togepi in hand they left the gym. and began to chase after the thieves that took Misty.

"Hang on Misty we're coming," Daisy said.

Meanwhile in a forest not far from Cerulean City. Misty found herself in a cage while the two people who kidnapped her were setting up the flower that shrunk her along with a blue flower next to it.

"Once we set up all of these "Shrinking Violet" we'll make sure that Professor Namba will have as many Pokemon as he likes to research. "The female said

"Maybe we'll get a nice bonus too" the raspier-sounding male replied.

"Like hold it right there!" A valley girl-sounding voice shouted out.

The two thieves turned to see Daisy, Violet, and Lilly standing there with angry scowls on their faces.

"

Give Misty back now!" Daisy angrily shouted.

"

Yeah, who are you guys anyway?" Violet asked

The two ripped off their disguises to reveal their black uniforms with a big red R in the center of them.

"Prepare for trouble" the female began

"And prepare for trouble" the male added

"Here's our mission so you better listen," both said simultaneously

"To infect the world with devastation," the female said.

"To blight, all denounce people in every nation" the male added

To the goodness of truth and love"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above"

" To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above"

"Cassidy"

"And Butch of course"

"Team Rocket circling the earth all day and night."

"Surrender now or you will surely lose the fight"

Cassidy and what was the other one's name Burt?" Violet questioned.

"No, I heard the name, Ben" Lilly replied.

"It's Butch! Do I have to wear a name tag?" Butch complained at the mispronunciation of his name.

"So like why are you two doing this?" Violet asked

"We were going to use these flowers here to shrink trainers and Pokemon and take them back to our boss" Cassidy replied.

"So hand them over," Butch said.

"No way," Daisy replied.

"Then we'll take them by force," Cassidy threatened.

All of them got their Poke Balls ready for battle.

"Go Houndour!" Cassidy shouted as the black-furred canine looking came out looking menacingly at the opposing trainers.

"Go Hitmontop!" Butch announced

Joining Houndour was a brown and blue colored Pokemon with black beady eyes and short legs with a spike on its head.

Meanwhile, the sisters threw their Poke Balls into the air.

"Go Staryu!" Daisy shouted

"Go Starmie!" Violet added

"Go Cloyster!" Lilly said

The two-star-looking Pokemon came out of their Poke Balls along with Cloyster. A black pearl-like Pokemon was encased in two shells, an inner shell that was light grey and a blue-violet outer shell. It also has horns on its outer shell.

"I didn't know we had a Cloyster in the gym," Misty said.

"While we were on our trip around the I found a Water Stone and used it to evolve one of our Shellder," Lilly said.

"Whatever we're taking your Pokemon go Htmontop use, Rolling Kick!" Butch ordered.

Hitomontop started spinning rushing toward the sisters and their Pokemon.

"

Staryu use Rapid Spin!" Daisy shouted.

Staryu started spinning its whole body and with its impressive speed rushed towards the oncoming Htmontop and two spinning Pokemon collided leading to a stalemate as they went back to their opposing sides.

"Houndour use Bite!" Cassidy ordered,

Houndour charged at Cloyster with its mouth open.

Cloyster use Withdraw!" Lilly shouted

Cloyster closed its slightly open shells. Houndour bit down as hard as it could but it was no use as when Cloyster closes its shells they are as hard as a diamond. Houndour then fell back after realizing that its attack was not doing anything at all.

"Cloyster fight back with your Clamp attack," Lilly said.

Cloyster charged towards Houndour then it opened its shell and then closed it down on Houndour's body. Then it repeated this process several more times causing damage and pain to Houndour.

Realizing that they were on the ropes Butch came up with an idea. Rushing towards the cage that Misty was in. He took her into his hand.

Give us your Pokemon or I crush this runt in my hand," Butch said as he then closed his fingers to apply a little pressure to Misty's tiny body.

Ahhh!" she cried out in pain.

However, before any of the sisters could move Staryu suddenly jumped into the air and began to spin using Rapid Spin. Charging towards Butch with incredible speed until it hit Butch in the midsection of his body.

"

Uraaa!" Butch cried out in agony. Of course, this caused him to let go of Misty which, caused her to go flying into the air. Daisy then rushed forward and caught Misty into her hands.

"Nice catch Daisy," Misty said

"Thanks, Misty" Daisy replied.

Now all of the sisters looked at Butch, Cassidy, and their Pokemon with angry scowly looks on their faces. This caused both to have looks of fear cross their faces.

"Now Staryu and Starmie use Water Gun!" both Violet and Daisy commanded.

Both the Star-looking Pokemon fired streams of water from their bodies where they both struck the Team Rocket members sending them and their Pokemon into the air.

"I guess we are going for a ride," Cassidy said

"I wonder where we will land" Butch added

Team Rocket's going flying" they both shouted at the same time as they disappeared.

"Well now that Misty's safe we can get back to figuring out how to get Misty back to normal," Violet said.

"Agreed" added Lilly.

While this discussion was going on Togepi who had been set down onto the ground before the battle with Team Rocket. It then came up with an idea it started waving its little light yellow back and forth

several times until they suddenly stopped and began to glow green.

Suddenly Misty's body began to glow green as well.

"Huh? My body is feeling strange" she said.

"Yeah and it's glowing a green color too" Violet added

"Quick put me down, Daisy!" Misty shouted.

Daisy then knelt to place Misty on the ground and then suddenly Misty grew back to normal size. She looked around in confusion.

"I'm back to normal size?" Misty said in surprise.

"Well it looks like whatever shrank you, wore off" Lilly replied.

"Looks like it" Daisy added

"Well, whatever the case is I'm glad to be back to normal size," Misty said.

"Yeah we are too Misty we may not show it all the time but we do love you" Daisy replied.

I love you guys too" Misty answered.

Misty then picked up Togepi into her arms and together the sisters began to walk back to the Cerulean City Gym. None of them knew that Togepi used the move known as Metronome to use the Normal-type move called Growth to restore Misty to normal.

Epilogue

Misty returned to her duties as Cerulean City Gym Leader after telling Officer Jenny about her experience and the latter agreeing to investigate it After that Misty received an invite to a Togepi convention to be held in the Hoenn region.

A couple of weeks later Misty dressed in a new outfit. A yellow sleeveless top or vest with a large blue button on the front and matching shorts, worn over some sort of dark-red under-all She headed to Vermillion City to board a bot that was bound for the Hoenn region after saying her farewells to her sisters and leaving the gym in their hands. She got on the boat and then the horn sounded signaling the boat was about to depart she waved to her sisters as it began to pull away with her sisters waving back at her.

As the boat traveled the sea Misty looked to the sky and smiled. She could not wait to see Ash and Brock again.
