(A/N): Hello! Thank you so much for reading Primary Intentions! It's hard to believe that this project is finally complete, one year(ish) and thirty-four chapters later. This has been a wild ride from start to finish- thank you for coming on this journey with me. This world's lived in my head in some way, shape, or form since 2013 (eight years!) and it's bittersweet to say goodbye to a project that I've loved and worked on for so long. Coming out of FanFiction retirement was absolutely worth it for this and for y'all. There are a few people I'd like to thank:

thechinskyguy: You were one of the first to see Primary's full potential. I'm so, so grateful that you stuck with the original project and that you agreed to come back for the rewrite. PI wouldn't have been half the story it is now without your help, time, and effort. Thank you for everything.

The vast majority of the feel and environment for the rewrite was inspired by three albums- "Zeal" by Kings Kaleidoscope, "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay, and "Phantoms" by Marianas Trench. You can find some of the musical highlights from these records in the playlist assembled below.

Now for the big question... what now? Next on the docket is a rewrite of "As It All Fell to Pieces", which is Primary's prequel! The rewrite is tentatively titled "Light in the Aftermath" and will cover Ash and Aurian's first few weeks with the G-Men. I need to stockpile a few more chapters before that one's published- you can expect the first installment in late fall / early winter. I think this will be considerably shorter than Primary Intentions- famous last words, I know- but it should be just as enjoyable.
