Hello!
Long time no see to anyone who might see this note! I am writing this in 2021, despite finishing this story in 2014!
I am writing to tell anyone who reads this story – or read it but still receives updates – that the sequel is coming!
The first chapter of 'Anhedonia' is available to read now and can be found on my profile.
For anyone who cannot remember what Vengeance was about: In Vengeance, the Breaking Dawn Battle happened and a lot of characters we loved lost their lives; the story followed Jacob, Renesmee and the survivors of the battle gathering new soldiers to bring down the remaining Volturi forces and their new leader, Jane. The story ended on a cliff-hanger, and I made a promise back then to eventually write a sequel. As time passed, I lost interest in the idea I had for the sequel and never planned to write it. However, recently, an idea for a story came to me and it dawned that my new story idea fits very well with the original plot of Vengeance and decided to combine the two.
Without spoilers for Vengeance, it ended with a lot of mystery and questions surrounding Renesmee's future. In 'Anhedonia'. I hope to answer some of those questions. This story will be unlike Vengeance in that it will not be a great adventure war story again and instead will focus more on the impact of Vengeance on the characters involved and the ways it will change who they are forever. Of course, characters from Vengeance are likely to appear at some point.
I very much hope old Readers who enjoyed Vengeance are still around to leave a review on Anhedonia. It will be interesting to see how I write this world and characters today with the knowledge and skills I've developed in this time. Any reviews on chapters of this story will be replied to in the following chapter and they are very welcome!
