"Are you done yet?" The blonde impatiently crosses her arms waiting for the ebony haired male to finish his turn on the computer. The male nods shyly not wanting to make eye contact with the scary female. "I just need to save...and" he was abruptly cut off when he was thrown to the ground "good, cuz I need to borrow this for the rest of the day loser." She exits out of what the male was working on and starts on her own project. The male gets up and brushes off his clothes, luckily he had his last save down. He'll come back to it tomorrow before entering class. He looked at the time and sighed defeated. He heads out of the library and straight towards his home. 'Tomorrow's another day' he thinks.

As he enters his house he's greeted by his mother "oh! Leom!! How was school today!" She clasped her hands together and heads over to her son to help him remove his bags. "It was fine mom, nothing new.." he puts on a smile and takes his own bag upstairs "I'll be in my room alright?" His mother nods and smiles gently, "I'll call you when dinner is ready!" Leom nods and heads up to his room. Once there he collapses on the bed and grabs his pillow yelling into it. He removes the pillow and looks at a piece of paper that's pinned on his wall. "Maybe...I should just look for another school.." he sighs closing his eyes, "who even needs a powerless hero.."

The following morning, Leom has to make a decision, 'are we going to UA?' He looked at his paper. He sighed eternally and looked up at the teacher with her arm stretched out carrying the others papers, Leom panics and gives her the paper sloppily, causing her to lose balance and drop all the papers. Laughter is heard in the classroom and chanting calling Leom the "Quirkless loser." Leom pauses, he gets up and starts to help the teacher pick up the papers and asks to step out.

Leom looks at himself in the mirror with tears in his eyes, "you truly are a quirkless loser Leom, you won't get into UA.." he turns on the faucet and washes his face. Another male enters the restroom and looks at Leom worried, "are you alri-" "Fine" Leom cuts off and walks out of the restroom, he decides to skip classes for today and head to the city.

As a kid, Leom loved being out in the city with his father, he got to watch hero's in action and his father would carry him up high to get the best view. Leom missed his father, he was such a hardworking man and loved his mother, he knew how to cheer him up, but father wasn't here anymore and it was up to Leom to take care of his mother.

Leom made it to the city and looked around the place, peaceful, the weather was nice out as well, fall was his favourite season and he just loved it. Looking at the trees Leom bumped into a boy with green messy hair, making him fall on his butt. Leom panics and gets up quickly, "I-I'm so sorry mister!! I wasn't looking and I-" the boy laughs and smiles brightly "oh no! It's okay! I wasn't paying attention either!!" Leom got a good look at the boy and realized who he was exactly, Almights successor, Deku.

Leom's mouth gaped open and he freaked out. He started bowing repeatedly, "I'm very sorry mister Deku sir!! I really didn't mean it!! I hope I can make it up to you! Please don't hurt me sir!!" Deku looked at Leom and stopped him he smiled and shaked his head, "it's alright!" Deku looked at the boys uniform and hummed, clicking his tongue "so you're a secondary student?" Leom looks at Deku and nods, "y-yeah! I'm hoping to become a hero too one day." Leom stops himself and looks down "but..." Deku looks at Leom patiently. Leom shakes his head and sighs, "never mind sir, sorry to waist your time." Leom looks at Deku "I should be heading home." Leom turns, but is stopped by Deku, "shouldn't you be heading to school? If you aren't, I have time to listen to what's wrong..."

Deku smiles embarrassed "I'm sorry, but I should have asked for your name!!" Leom looks at Deku and nods, "It's Leom." He sighs "it's just...I would like to be a hero..and help people out..but" he stops and looks at Deku who is listening intently "I don't really have a quirk to show.." he sighs in frustration, "my whole class makes fun of my dream and there's this one girl...Koda, she just hates me, and I did nothing wrong! I just wanted to go to UA just like her! But I guess she wants to be the only one that's going from our school, since no one else has the guts to."

Leom continues to ramble on about his problems and it oddly reminded Deku of himself. He was made fun of for not having a quirk and was lucky enough to have Almight in his side. "Things will get better." He looked at Leom, the boy looked shocked, nervous, scared, but yet he had confidence hidden within him.

"Even if you don't have a quirk, I believe you can do amazing out here, with how I see you now, I see an amazing hero rising up and becoming number one." Deku smiles and looks at the time, "I have to go!!!" He starts to run off to find Mirio, Deku turns to look at Leom and waves goodbye as he vanished from the distance. Leom holds onto his bag tightly watching the soon to be hero run off. He's never been told that he could possibly become number one. It was hope, maybe not the best hope but a small hope, of becoming the greatest hero. With that in his mind, he runs home with a smile on his face.

"Where did that bastard go." The blonde female huffs and glares around the lunch room, "I need to screw around with someone." The blondes friend looked at her and chuckled, "Jeez Koda, that's pretty kinky" Koda looks at the boy with black and white hair and growls, sparks going off around her, "you know exactly what I mean Emyr."

She crosses her arms and starts to head out of the lunch room. "That brat keeps getting in my way and now he's no where to be found." She looks at the trees. Emyr, looks at her fully. "If he's in your way...why do you care that he's not around? Shouldn't you be glad???" Emyr looks at her and shakes his head "never mind, you'll kill me if I continue to bug ya." Koda huffs and heads over the the fence.

"Where are you going???"

"Home"

"Huh?!? You're going to leave me alone?"

"Sounds like a good idea"

With that she jumps over the fence and heads home.

Koda wasn't the type to open up to her friends, even her closest ones, she just saw it as weakness. She didn't care anyways, all she wants is to make it to UA and prove to her brother that she can make it to the top. Even if it means losing friends.

Back at school Emyr decides to stick around in the classroom, he's the teachers pet obviously. He was helping the teacher send off the letters to each school, which also gave him the right to look at each and every single paper and everyone's options, once he stumbles onto Leoms, oh boy, he won't hear the end of it from Koda.

"Hey are you alright?"

"Just fine"

An old memory of Emyrs, he remembers meeting koda as if it was yesterday, she was minding her business until she saw the lightning.

Emyr felt alone, he didn't want to be at his house anymore, his mother was never around and his father was dead, he had to take care of himself at the age of 7. He couldn't afford food and his mother left him. All he had was a tree, a tree to stay under when it rains, a tree to sleep under.

Then he got his quirk, he despised his quirk, electricity was the worse during raining days, everything he was around was struck by lightning, he couldn't control his quirk and he felt alone. Until a light appeared in his life.

"Hey are you alright?"

"Just fine"

Emyr covered himself, feeling ashamed as koda got closer to him he yelled.

"stay away!!! You'll get hurt!!"

"No I won't nerd! Do you want to stay at my place?"

And that's how Emyr learned to trust people and let them help him even if he doesn't need it. Emyr and Koda were best friends.

By the end of the day Emyr headed back to kodas house..or his house. He enjoyed living with koda, he truly did, and her mother was amazing, Kodas mother accepted him, something his mother never did. She accepted his sexuality, she accepted him as a son, she accepted his weirdness, and she accepted his 'stupid' quirk. That's all Emyr needed in a family.

"Gosh what took you so long?"

Emyr smiles brightly taking his shoes off.

"Just going by memory Lane."
