In a village known as Hage Village, there was a statue of the 29th Wizard King Asta. A kid known as Thomas Alazuya trained his body by the statue. He started training himself there at the age of 5 years old. He was an orphan bullied by everyone in the village. They think that he's weak due to the doctor telling him that he doesn't have any magic within his body. After he turned 15 years old, he was out training waiting for the night to appear. As that was happening, a girl appeared before him and then asked, "How do you feel?"

Thomas answered, "Motivated to become the strongest in the universe. But I don't know you, do I?"

The girl answered, "No, you don't. But all you need to know right now is that I am an ally."

Thomas heard that and turned his head toward her and then said, "So, what brings you here?"

The girl answered, "To warn you about the Grimoire Selection process. Something bad will happen during it."

Thomas said, "I bet that you are right about that. But nothing bad will happen to me."

She said, "Anything could happen. I can't wait to see what happens next. Well, see you in the future."

Thomas said, "Likewise."

Time went back to normal and then Thomas saw that it was nighttime and said, "Oh shit. I guess that it is time to go."

Thomas took off and then appeared in the Grimoire Tower after 20 minutes of nonstop running. Everyone stared at Thomas and laughed asking, "Why are you here? You don't even have any magic. Leave brat. You don't belong here. Only magicians belong here, Thomas. The Alazuya Family no longer exists. Just get out of here."

Thomas stepped into the center of the tower and then the master of the Grimoire Tower, Masofiir appeared saying, "Welcome to the Grimoire Tower. Normally, I don't let anyone enter here unless they want to read books. I am here to give you all your Grimoire. Today, you all are adults from today onwards. Let the ceremony begin."

Everyone started cheering and then Thomas stared at all of the Grimoires flying throughout the tower. Thomas looked at them all and then they all flew toward everyone else. Thomas stared at everyone and didn't mind the fact that he didn't get one. The owner of the church that took Thomas in saw that and then saw his expression and then said to herself, "He's not even disappointed in the fact that he didn't get a Grimoire."

As Thomas was about to walk away, Masofiir saw that and out of nowhere an unknown Grimoire appeared out of the blue. Thomas turned his head toward it and Masofiir asked, "What the hell is that Grimoire?"

It flew down toward Thomas with immense speed and Thomas turned around placing his hand out and the Grimoire flew right into his hand and Thomas was getting pushed back and everyone saw that and then Thomas smiled and then said, "How interesting. That girl was right."

The Grimoire pushed him to the side and then Thomas growled and then planted his feet into the ground and then the Grimoire started glowing immediately. Thomas said, "Come on."

The Grimoire started to slow down and then after everyone closed their eyes due to how bright that it was, the owner of the church yelled, "Thomas!"

The light disappeared and then everyone opened their eyes and Thomas was standing there with the Grimoire in his hands. Thomas looked at his Grimoire and then said to himself, "A Four-Leaf Clover, huh? I guess that I do have magic power after all. That doctor doesn't know anything."

Thomas smiled and then Masofiir said to himself, "A Four-Leaf Clover Grimoire. I don't believe it. Was the doctor wrong about him not having magic? She's never wrong. This is something completely different. Thomas Alazuya broke through fate. As the soul survivor of the Alazuya Family, you are going to have to bring it back yourself. All of the people that made fun of you because of that doctor is now in shock. They didn't expect you to get a Grimoire. What will you show this universe, Thomas?"

Thomas put it away and then everyone's jaw dropped and then Masofiir said, "Congratulations to everyone here. You are all adults now. You each were given a Grimoire. As you noticed, you didn't choose what Grimoire that you'd get. The Grimoire chose you. There hasn't been a Four-Leaf Clover Grimoire since Yuno, the brother of the 29th Wizard King, Asta. Now, you all have choices. Become Magic Knights, or help protect the village from bad people. The choice is all yours."

Thomas heard that and then smiled and Masofiir said, "Dismissed."

Everyone walked away and then as Thomas was heading out, Masofiir said, "Thomas, do you mind staying behind for a bit?"

Thomas answered, "Yep."

Thomas stopped and then Masofiir appeared in front of him and asked, "Did the Oracle lie about you not having magic?"

Thomas answered, "Nope. She didn't lie. How I got this Grimoire is unknown? Let's open it and see what is inside."

Masofiir said, "Please do. I've never seen a Grimoire like yours."

Thomas took it out and then Masofiir looked at it and then Thomas opened it up and then Masofiir said, "I don't even know what these letters mean. What the hell is this?"

Thomas answered, "Quite simple, it says Fireball. And what the Fireball does."

Masofiir said, "You can read that?"

Thomas answered, "Yes. This is the ancient language of the Cisneros Kingdom. The country that no longer exists. And the language has been forgotten or so they say."

Masofiir said, "The Cisneros language. You really are different from the rest."

Thomas said, "Well, I gotta prepare for the Magic Knights Entrance Exam."

Masofiir said, "Well now, no one will be able to use your Grimoire even if they tried. Hahahaha."

Thomas said, "Agreed. Till we meet again."

Thomas took off and then Masofiir said, "That Grimoire is going to cause problems in the universe. Thomas, you are the last of your family. Show everyone the power of the Alazuya Family and why they were feared for thousands of years. You are going to fight for others. Knowing you, you'll fight for freedom and your own goal. Good luck, this village is counting on you to make a name for yourself."
