Once upon a time, long, long ago. Well more like twenty years ago. Belle married her beast in front of six thousand of their closest personal friends. So instead of a honeymoon, the Beast united all the kingdoms and got himself elected the Kind of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks, basically all the evil people, and he booted them off to the Isle of the Lost, with a magical barrier to keep them there. No magic, no wifi, no way out.

Prince Heiji, who was soon to be king, was looking outside his bedroom window towards the Isle of the Lost, thinking of the poor villain's kids that were trapped there with their parents. For some reason, throughout the years he always wanted to free the villain's kids when he found out that they existed after meeting that girl in the Isle.
All of the royalties in the Kingdom of Auradon decided to take their kids for a trip in the Isle of the Lost to show their kids what would happen to them if they ever turned bad, and it definitely worked on disciplining them since they behaved way better after that trip.
That trip was when Heiji met that girl, or as he calls her his first love. It was after he ran away from his parents since he was a bit of a naughty kid and saw her in a really bad ruined park. He remembers that she was a fairy, he remembers playing around with her and bickering with her a lot, and he also remembers her becoming worried when someone screamed that her mother was coming, and she gave him a charm, that she had a matching one on her as well, to protect him for her mother's evil and she told him to run away.
He still remembers her to this day and keeps dreaming about her and he wishes that he could get to see her again. He also didn't like the fact that this girl had to suffer the consequences of her mother. That was why he decided that first official proclamation would be bringing the villain's kids to come study here in Auradon in his school which was the school for royalties and the very rich kids that would be considered the one-percenters of the world, of course, there were scholarship kids but they had to really earn it.
When Heiji told his parents about his first official proclamation, they were utterly shocked and disappointed in his decision. They didn't agree with him, not one bit, especially his father, but after explaining to them why he made that decision his mother understood him and agreed, however, his father still disagreed, but he couldn't do anything since Heiji was going to be king in a few weeks.
Heiji ordered certain high-profile people to visit the Isle of the Lost to pick out the kids that were the most popular and ruled the teenagers around them because then those people would know everyone around them and then he would find out who that girl was and bring her to Auradon.
That's why Heiji chose the kids of the Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and lastly Maleficent who was the evilest villain in the world.
According to the high-profile people that Heiji hired to go visit the island prison, Kazuha, Kaito, Sonoko, and Eisuke ruled dragon high, and their parents were the ones that were in control of everything in the isle.
Heiji looked away from his bedroom window and walked out of his chamber to talk to the fairy godmother about the welcoming of the villain's kids since today was the day that they would arrive at Auradon.
He would be lying if he said he wasn't excited.

They loved bullying innocent kids and making them suffer, or maybe that's what they kept telling themselves to survive living with their parents and in the island prison that was filled with manipulative and evil people.
Kazuha, Kaito, Sonoko, and Eisuke were doing their everyday routine, which was hurting people and destroying their things.
Kazuha would draw on all proprieties with her spray paint, Sonoko would seduce guys and then mess with them and break their hearts, Kaito would steal and Eisuke would join him sometimes.
Just as Kazuha finished her art that was a black heart that had green magic coming out of it and the phrase 'Long Live Evil' was written in purple above it, a little girl holding a lollipop passed.
Kazuha took the opportunity and took it from her only to hear the little girl's annoying cry. Kaito looked at her and laughed at her stupid attempt to look evil because if there was anything that Kaito loved doing the most, it was teasing people.
Suddenly, Kazuha heard screaming and people were running away and she smiled.
She turned around and saw the cause of the screaming, "Hi mom."
Maleficent came walking towards them with her usual black horns and cape, and her stupid looking goblin guards.
"Stealing candy, Kazuha? I'm so disappointed." Maleficent said frowning while trying to imitate a pout.
"It was from a baby," Kazuha said smirking.
Maleficent laughed her normal wicked laugh and pulled Kazuha towards her, "See, I'm just trying to teach you, the thing that really counts- How to be me." Maleficent said, looking at her daughter with her exact same beautiful green eyes.
"I know that. And I'll do better." Kazuha said to her mother. She hated how she always disappointed her mother. She tried everything before, but it was never enough for her mother.
Suddenly her mother jumped and pushed Kazuha away as she remembered something important, "Oh! There's news! I buried the lede. You four have been chosen to go to a different school... in Auradon." Said Maleficent, pointing at Kazuha and her friends.
Kaito and Eisuke tried to run away after hearing the terrible news, but Maleficent guards stopped them from doing that and held him.
"What? I'm not going to some boarding school, filled to the brim with goody-goody people." Said Kazuha.
"And a perfect prince." Sonoko said, with excitement, then after she realized what she said, she completely changed her attitude, "Ugh!"
"I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon," said Eisuke, worried. His mother, Cruella De Vil, always told him scary stuff about dogs. "Mom said they're rabid pack animals, who eat boys that don't behave."
"WOOF!" Kaito, imitated the bark noises, scaring Eisuke who screamed in fear.
"Yeah, Mom, we're not going," Kazuha said ignoring Kaito's loud laughter, still refusing on the idea of going to Auradon.
"Oh, you're thinking small, pumpkin. It's all about world domination." Maleficent said, swinging her hands in the air.
"Knuckleheads!" Maleficent called the guards as she walked away, then she turned back and called her daughter, "Kazuhaaa."
Kazuha rolled her eyes and followed her mom, with her friends to their home.

"You will go. You will find the fairy godmother. And you will bring me back her magic wand. Easy peasy." Maleficent said, sitting on her small thrown that was is in the middle of the kitchen, "By the way the car is coming to pick you up in a few minutes."
"Wait what?! Mom!" said Kazuha, "Ugh, okay then what's in it for us?" Kazuha asked. She didn't want to go to Auradon at all, and all this talk about the magic wand was boring her.
"Matching thrones. Hers-and-hers crowns." Maleficent answered.
"Um- I think she meant us," Eisuke said, pointing at Kaito, Sonoko, and himself.
Maleficent got up from her small throne and gestured Kazuha to come closer, "It's all about you and me baby. Do you enjoy watching innocent people suffer?" Kazuha's mother asked.
"Well, who doesn't?" Kazuha answered but she didn't say yes because that would be a lie, and faeries can't lie.
"Well, then get me the wand. And you and I can see that, and so much more. And with that wand and my scepter, I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!" Kazuha's mother exclaimed.
"Our will." The Evil Queen, Sonoko's mom, corrected Maleficent.
"Our will, our will." Maleficent corrected, then she snaps Kazuha back to her, "And if you refuse, you're grounded for the rest of your life, Missy."
"Wha- No! Mom!" Kazuha complained. This was her mother's typical behavior, and don't ever think that the evilest faery won't be willing to ground her daughter for the rest of her life for something like this.
Maleficent snapped her finger to get Kazuha's attention and brought her closer. Maleficent's eyes started glowing bright green, and her daughter mirrored them. Kazuha tried to contain herself and have some self-control and not listen to her mother at that time, but she just couldn't, her mother was very powerful.
Kazuha grunted as she walked away, "Fine, whatever."
"I win," said Maleficent childishly.
"Sonoko." called The evil Queen. "My little evil daughter, you just find yourself a prince with a big castle, and a mother-in-law wing."
And then both of them said at the same time, "And lots and lots of mirrors."
Sonoko giggled in a girly way, "No laughing, wrinkles." Her mother warned her.
Maleficent stopped up from her throne and exclaimed, "People used to cower at the mention of our names! For twenty years I have searched for a way off this island! For twenty years they have robbed us from our revenge." Maleficent shouted, "Revenge on snow-white and her horrible little men." She said pointing at the Evil Queen, "Revenge on Aladdin and his bloated genie! Revenge on every sneaky Dalmatian that escaped your clutches." Cruella De Vil frowned, "And I, Maleficent, the evilest of them all, I will finally have my revenge on sleeping beauty and her relentless little prince."
"Villains," Maleficent called.
"Yes." They answered.
"Our day has come." Kazuha's mother smirked, "Evil Queen, hand your daughter the magic mirror."
The Evil Queen opened the purse that never leaves her side and took out her magic mirror and handed it to Sonoko.
"Is this your magic mirror?" Sonoko said, looking at the mirror in disappointment.
"Yeah, well it isn't like it used to be. But then again, neither are we!" said the Evil Queen, which earned a laugh from Maleficent.
"It will help you find things." Said the Evil Queen.
"Like a prince?" Sonoko asked, her eyes glowing with happiness.
"Like the magic wand! Helloo!" Maleficent said, then she remembered, "The spellbook. My book. I need the book."
"It's in the safe." answered The Evil Queen.
Maleficent ran towards the fridge and opened the freezer that she considered safe and pulled out the spellbook. "Come, darling, come" Maleficent called her daughter that was sitting on a chair, bored out of her life.
Kazuha got up and went to her mother, "It doesn't work here, but it will in Auradon." Her mother said handing her the book.
"Remember, when we were spreading evil and ruining lives," Maleficent said to the Evil Queen, smiling as she was remembering those beautiful memories that were traumatizing ones for other people.
"Like it was yesterday." agreed the Evil Queen.
"And now you will be making your own memories," Maleficent said to Kazuha.
Suddenly a loud car honking was heard from outside the door, "Whoo! Let's get this party started!" Exclaimed the Evil Queen.
Instead of taking Kazuha outside to the car like the other kids, Maleficent took Kazuha with her to the balcony, where they can see The Kingdom of Auradon.
"The future of the free world rests on your shoulders. Don't blow it." Kazuha's mother said, then she went.
Kazuha stared at the kingdom. She really didn't want to do this, but she had to prove herself to her mother, and she wanted her mother to be proud of her more than anything else in the world.
"Kazuha!" Her mother called her, telling her to go to the car.
Kazuha went downstairs and found lots of people around a car. A limo and all of them were chattering.
She gave her mother one last look, before touching the car-door's handle, which she ended up regretting.
