Author's Notes: Hi, readers. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I would like to present what is probably the first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Labyrinth crossover. It is AU set three months after "Green With Evil" and shows Jason and Trini being forced to brave the Labyrinth after he wishes away his baby sister due to her annoying them while they are babysitting her. The idea for this crossover came to mind when I was watching Labyrinth. I wondered what it would be like if one or two Rangers had to rescue a sibling that was wished away in which they met Jareth. As a result, it was born. Moreover, I felt it was time for me to do another fic focusing on Jason/Trini as the majority of the other ones I've written focus on Tommy/Kim. I hope you enjoy this crossover. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Chapter 1: Walking Home After School
Clouds covered the midafternoon sky above an Angel Grove neighborhood in mid-December. Trees dipped and swayed in the wind. A barn owl flew through the sky. It flapped its wings on occasion. It headed for a tree next to the sidewalk. It landed on an overhanging branch. It ran its beak through the feathers in its right wing. It repeated its action with the left one. It emitted a series of hoots before blinking three times.
The owl ran its beak through its chest feathers. It did the same to its back ones. It turned its head around almost all the way. It saw a northern mockingbird flying in the distance. It returned its head to the normal position. It heard joyful laughter and looked toward the sidewalk to see Jason and Trini holding hands as they came its way.
Three months had passed since Tommy joined the Power Rangers. He adjusted to the team very well. He and Kim began dating not long after. Jason and Trini followed suit a week later. The couples occasionally went on double dates. One such date had to be cancelled three weeks ago. The reason was Jason had to babysit his three-year-old sister, Ellie, due to her regular babysitter, Janice Cole, losing her mother, Karen, to breast cancer.
Jason and Trini swung their arms back and forth four times. He pulled her toward him and let go of her hand. He placed his arm around her shoulder to give her a big hug. They passed underneath the owl. It kept its eye on them. It hooted curiously as they stopped a short distance from it. It moved close to the edge of the branch. He let go of her, and they faced each other. He took her hands into his. He rubbed the backs of them with her thumbs.
"I can't wait for tonight," he said excitedly.
"Me neither. We are going to see Mrs. Doubtfire," she responded and squeaked. "People have been talking about how really funny it is."
"I think we will love it," Jason commented and smiled. "Robin Williams is one of the funniest comedians alive."
"That is so true," Trini agreed.
"We asked Tommy and Kim if they wanted to see it with us, but they told us they had already made plans to go bowling," Jason said, frowning somewhat.
"It sucks, but there is always next Friday for a double date," Trini pointed out matter-of-factly.
"Mm-hmm," Jason replied. "I remember when we had to cancel a double date. We were planning to play putt-putt golf that Friday night. Mom informed me that Janice's mother had died. She had been battling breast cancer for two years. I had to inform all of you that we had to cancel, so I could babysit Ellie. We were all very disappointed." He sighed in a heavy way.
"Then I suggested we do it next Friday when we hung out at the Youth Center on Saturday. We agreed to it," Trini said, emitting a soft snort. "Then Bulk and Skull made fun of you for having to babysit your sister. Tommy said that their parents must have decided not to have any more children because they were such a handful."
"All six of us laughed like crazy. Bulk said he would make us pay for that. He tried to leap at us, but his pants tore. He was so embarrassed. He motioned for Skull to come to him. Skull tried to pull his pants together, but he tore them even further. He ran away. Bulk attempted to go after him, but he tripped and fell flat on his face. We laughed our heads off as he got up and followed him the best he could," Jason said with pride.
"As long as Bulk and Skull keep bullying people, karma will continue biting them on their asses," Trini whispered in a blunt voice.
"They will end up working at McDonald's if they don't shape up," Jason added and made a funny noise. "Being a hamburger flipper isn't a very pleasant job."
"Nope," Trini said with a shake of her head. "Then again, many bullies and troublemakers end up at such a job."
The lovebirds gazed toward the other side of the street. They watched two young women jog past them. They shifted their attention back to each other.
"I love my baby sister to death, but she can be such a handful. She doesn't do what she is told very often. When I try to stop her from misbehaving, my parents usually blame me for it. They tell me I am supposed to set a good example for her," Jason grumbled with a roll of his eyes.
"It is a well-known fact that younger siblings are allowed to get away with bad behavior more often than older siblings are," Trini commented regretfully. "This leads to them getting in trouble with the law more often when they are adults."
"I bet my parents will allow Ellie to stay out until midnight when she is fifteen. They won't let me stay out past ten-thirty, even on weekends!" Jason blurted out irritatingly. "It's crazy."
"It sure is," Trini agreed. "Kim's brother is seventeen, but they have the same curfew of eleven o'clock. Dustin likes that their parents rarely allowed her to get away with bad behavior throughout their childhood. Of course, she didn't misbehave all that much. She still doesn't."
He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. "He is very lucky."
She nodded in agreement. "Oh, yes."
He gave her hands gentle squeezes. She responded by squeezing his a little hard. They bit their lips before clearing their throats. The owl hooted, but neither of them heard it.
"It's hard to believe that it's been three months since Tommy broke free of Rita's spell and joined the team," Jason whispered, his voice showing much amazement. "It feels like only yesterday."
"Times flies these days, doesn't it?" Trini wondered with a chuckle.
"It really does," Jason agreed. "One day, we are crawling around in diapers. The next day, we are heading off to high school."
"One thing we didn't expect was becoming saviors of the universe," Trini pointed out truthfully.
"So true," Jason said, nodding slowly. "Tommy loves fighting on the battlefield. He says fighting Rita is helping him make up for things he did under her control." He ran his tongue all over the inside of his mouth. "I do not blame him for feeling bad about them. I would too if I was in his position."
Trini exhaled softly. "Who wouldn't? Let's not forget Tommy wasn't the only one who fell under Rita's control. Billy and Kim did too. For them, it happened to be a punk potion."
"They bullied everyone they saw the day after they went punk. Kim asked Skull on a date. Billy actually threatened Bulk. Bulk was scared shitless," Jason explained.
"Talk about the tables being turned," Trini murmured.
Jason blew a raspberry. "Exactly."
Jason and Trini released their hold on each other and resumed walking. He put his arm around her shoulder. He hugged her somewhat tightly. She slipped hers around his waist.
"Trini, it was sweet of you to offer to walk me home after school," he said gratefully.
"You walked me home after school, so I decided to return the favor," she answered, hugging him.
"It's been peaceful over the last two weeks. I bet Rita is planning something right now," Jason suggested a little uncertainly.
"Oh, I agree," Trini commented, swallowing hard. "She has been aggressive in her last few attacks, especially the most recent one. Zack was knocked unconscious when Goldar and Scorpina blasted him into a tree when they attacked the town square. We were forced to fight without him. Thanks to Billy's remote-control system, we were able to summon his zord. We defeated Goldar and Scorpina with the Dragon Megazord after they overpowered us in the Megazord."
"Billy was smart to invent that system before Tommy became the Green Ranger. It saved you, him, Zack, and Kim from being destroyed by him," Jason whispered in much relief.
"He was beating so badly that we had no choice but to summon the zords and form the Megazord. If he wasn't, we wouldn't have escalated the situation," Trini replied. "As Zordon said, we should never escalate a situation unless Rita forces us to." She suppressed a yawn.
"He didn't fault you for that," Jason commented and kissed her temple.
"Yeah," Trini murmured and let out a small yawn. She smacked her lips before licking them. "He is such an understanding individual."
Jason nodded in agreement as he and Trini picked up their pace somewhat. The owl stared after them until they were out of sight. It spread its wings and took off into the sky.
