A/N: Hello! Welcome to another story of mine! Yes, yes, this is another Pokemon fanfiction of mine. This time, the characters are from the Pokemon Black and White/Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 manga. Feel free to enjoy the fanfic. Feel free to read and review.
Wedding fanfares began to play throughout a church. The seats of the church was filled up with people, waiting happily for the wedding to begin. They turned around and stood as they saw Blake walking down along with his bride. Apparently, Blake was going through an arranged marriage.
This is something that he disliked. He rather marry someone else rather than marry someone he doesn't know nor love. Once they arrived, everyone sat down and watched. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here to join this man and his bride in marriage."
As the speaking went on, Blake felt anger deep within his heart. He never wanted to go through with this. He felt like he had no say in this whatsoever. He wanted to live his life the way he wanted and not his father's way. His bride said that she would take Nate to be his lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health until death does them apart. "And do you, Blake, take her to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Blake didn't say anything. He knew that if he decided to rebel against his father's orders, the penalty is death. Who knew that his father would punish him by death if he didn't follow the rules. But he didn't care at this point. He has to do this, he has to rebel at this point. In one swift action...
"I do not!"
He stood back and threw the ring he was supposed to give her out of a open window. Everyone gasped in horror. Blake immediately began running down and out of the church, ignoring his father's yelling for him. Blake continued running even after he got out of the church. Some people stared at him as he ran. Blake hid immediately and noticed that his father had came out along with some guards. "Find my son!" He declared and they began looking for Blake.
Blake hid for a few minutes before running away. He was the son of the king of Black City but he had no siblings, which made him heir to the throne. Blake didn't like this as he wanted to live a normal life rather than a royal life. He ran out of the kingdom. "I must leave this kingdom." Blake said as he ran.
He continued running down as he heard guards coming his way on horses. Blake didn't dare to look back. "Please...let this chase stop!" He yelled as he ran. Not only did he feel the shrill of rebellion in his heart, he also felt worry. If they ever caught him, he would be put to death. When it came to the death penalty, it's never a joke in Black City.
However, little did he know is that he lost his footing as he noticed something that would result in him falling.
A hill.
He screamed as he fell, rolling down the hill. He hit some boulders along the way as he rolled down, before rolling into the water. When he rolled into the water, it made a big splash. The guards stopped when they heard the splash. They noticed that Blake was nowhere to be seen. "Do you think he's dead?" One of the guards said and they all nodded.
"He must be." One of them replied. They all nodded in agreement before they rode away. In the water, Blake was floating as the last boulder he hit while rolling down knocked him out.
A boy was sitting near a beach shore. His name is Black. Next to him is a bucket filler with seashells that he collected. He loved collecting seashells. Black felt like the beach shore was his secret favorite place.
"Welp, time to go!" Black said happily and stood up, picking up the bucket. Before he could leave, he saw something rise up the shore. Black took a closer look. It's not a something, it's a someone. Black placed the bucket down gently and ran to the body. It was a boy. Wait...he recognized this face. But he didn't remember the name of him however. "Well, I can't just leave him here or my seashells..." Black mumbled quietly. He picked him up slowly. "Wow, you're light!" He said cheerfully and walked out of the shore but not long after picking up the bucket of seashells as well.
He looked at the boy he picked up. Could he be...the prince of Black City? He couldn't tell as he walked away from the beach shore.
