Lila here and...here it is! The first chapter of a new story uwu. I really hope you guys enjoy this story, as well as this chapter as much as I do writing it ^w^. It was a stormy night in the Amazon jungle. Thunders and lightnings were falling strongly while the water dropped from the dark grey clouds. Birds of all kinds and species were flying and running away from their worst fear. A species who has been killing nature and everything that surrounds them. A species who has taken thousands of birds' lifes and families. A species who has used the beautiful natural resources to create horrible and frightening weapons. A species known as...
The Humans
Shots and bangs were heard all around the jungle, along with the screams of horror and fear. Then suddenly, everything went on fire and flames. The only thing that could be seen was chaos and destruction everywhere. It seemed like all the hopes and dreams were gone and vanished...but...were they?
Suddenly, all the fire appeared to be absorbed to a specific point
-Hunter: What the- the fire is...moving?!
-Hunter 2: Where are the flames going?!
-Hunter 3: Look! Over there!
The third hunter pointed at a small mysterious shape who handled all the flames as a ball with its...wings!
-Hunter 4: Is that a...bird?!
-Hunter 5: How will it be a bird you fool? *Slaps his head*
-Hunter 4: Ouch! But it looks like it! What do you think boss?
-Hunter: Hmm...shoot at it!
The hunters shot at the bird, however...
-Hunter 2: T-the bullets...stopped in the middle of the air?!
-Hunter: It...it can't be!...
The bullets turned around, in direction to the hunters and moved towards them
-Hunter: Look out! *Everyone gets down and the bullets passed above them*
-Hunter 3: W-what on Earth was that?!
Then, a toucan showed up at the mysterious bird's side, who appeared to be a red macaw.
-Red macaw: Well well, you finally showed up, "blowing master" hehe...
-"Blowing Master": I told you to stop calling me like that Daniel... 7n7
-Daniel: Hehe, alright alright, but still I don't know why that nickname bothers you Carlos *makes the fireball in his wings dissapear*
-Carlos: *Sighs* this is not the time for any jokes, we need to protect everyone from those humans *points at the hunters*
-Daniel: Pfft, please...they are nothing compared to my fire nexus baby! *Gets his wing palms on fire with a smile*
-Carlos: Um...Daniel you are forgetting something...
-Daniel: What? *The flames turned off* ... . _.
-Carlos: *Points up to the sky* the rain... .-.
-Daniel: ...Ugh...how am I supposed to use my fire powers if the rain bothers me?!
-Carlos: Guess we'll just need to wait for Raymond... :/
-Daniel: They're shooting again! *Points at some bullets approaching to them*
-Carlos: Got it! *Blows and controls the wind's trajectory with his wings, pushing the bullets aside*
-Hunter 4: What?! Those are not normal birds!
-Hunter: No they aren't...anyways, if we can't get those two, we'll just get others. Keep moving!
-Daniel: Hey! They're getting away! COME BACK HERE COWARDS! *About to fly towards them*
-Carlos: *Stops him* No, is too risky. You can't use your powers remember?
-Daniel: But, then how was I able to absorb all that fire?
-Carlos: Because you absorbed it, you didn't generate it, which is what you can't do until the rain stops!
-Daniel: Ugh! Where is that Raymond when is needed! 7n7
-Carlos: I would like to know that too...but we don't have time to wait for him. Right now we need to go and protect all the birds! *Flies at the speed of the wind*
-Daniel: HEY! WAIT FOR ME! *Flies trying to reach him*
Meanwhile in another place of the jungle...
A female blue macaw was stuck in a fallen tree
-Macaw: HELP ME! ANYBODY! PLEASE! Get me out of here...I...don't want to die... *starts sobbing*
-?: Excuse me, ma'am? Are you ok...?
-Macaw: W-what? Who's the- *a little blue macaw with brownish eyes was in front of her* k-kid! What are you doing here?! You need to run now! Save yourself!
-?: But...um...you need help, so...I want to help you... *tries to lift up the tree* hmm...almost...just a...bit...more *stops trying while panting* s-sorry ma'am...I'm...too weak...
-Macaw: Aw kid...thank you for trying, but please, go away now. My fate is already set...but you are still too young, please run away...
-?: N-no. I won't leave you alone here ma'am. I, Blu, promise to free you *tries to lift up the tree again* no...matter...what...ugh...ah...agh! *stops and pants again*
-Macaw: Kid...I mean, Blu. Please, you need to go with your family...
-Blu: Family? What's a family? :3
-Macaw: Y-you don't know what's a family?!
-Blu: Um...no .-.
-Macaw: Aw Blu...Blu! Get away now!
-Blu: Huh? What why- *some evil laughs were heard at his back* ah! *turns around and looks at two evil hunters*
-Hunter 5: Well well well...look what we got over here...
-Hunter 6: Hehehe, two blue birdies. What a nice prize...
-Macaw: Blu you seriously need to run! Get away from here!
-Blu: ...I-I...I...n-no! *Stands in front of the macaw to protect her* y-you guys w-won't put one single hand on her!
-Macaw: Blu...
-Hunter 5: Aww hahahaha, look at this little chick, trying to protect the bird
-Hunter 6: Hahahaha , how cute...he is just a squawking ball of feathers. Shoot at him...
-Hunter 5: *Points his gun at Blu*
-Macaw: Blu seriously, leave now!
-Blu: *Shaking of fear* u-um...uh..b-but...t-they will h-hurt you...
BANG!
-Macaw: BLU!
*Blu closed his eyes, waiting for the bullet to reach his body. However...an adult blue macaw was standing in front of them, with his body full of rays, and a bullet wound...*
-Hunter 5: What? H-how did that bird appear so fast...?!
Suddenly the sky got clear, and the thunders and rain stopped falling
-Daniel: W-wait...the rain...stopped...?
-Carlos: Oh no...Raymond...
-Daniel: P-please don't tell me that means... *covers his beak with his wings*
-Carlos: ...N-no... *a tear forms in his eye*
-Blu: S-sir! A-are you... *the adult blue macaw just looked at Blu and the female with a smirk* huh...?
-Male macaw: Heh, sorry for the tardiness, you did excellent kid. But now... *the male macaw formed a lightining ball on his wing* I'll take care of them...
-Hunters: U-uh...w-what's going on...?!
-Male macaw: Time for you to leave this jungle alone! :( *Shoots the lightning ball at the hunters and sends them flying away*
-Hunters: AHHHH! *They flied until they dissapeared in the sky with a blink*
-Blu: W-wow! That was ama- *the male macaw suddenly felt to the ground* s-sir! *Runs to him*
-Male macaw: Ugh...the shot... *groaning in pain* it seems like this is the end for me...hehe...
-Blu: N-no...b-but...y-you need to live! I...I'll go for help!
-Male macaw: Kid...please, everyone has evacuated... *cough cough* just...save that lady and...run away...
-Blu: But...I can't, I'm too weak. I can't lift up the tree...
-Male macaw: I know...that's why *cough* what's...your full name?
-Blu: B-blu...um, T-Tyler Blu...G-Gunderson
-Male macaw: Alright, listen closely. Tyler Blu Gunderson, I, Raymond Lightningbolt, grant you the power, of the "Storm Nexus", which allows you to control the weather and the electricity. You will use this power for protecting others, can I trust you?
-Blu: W-wait w-what?! M-me? A nexus owner? B-but...I'm not sure I can do it...
-Raymond: Of course you can, even after all the fear you were feeling, you still stayed to protect this lady from those evil hunters *cough*. I know you are still too young but, when you grow up, you will be a great nexus owner.
-Blu: B-but...
-Raymond: Besides, *cough cough* I'm already dead...before a nexus owner dies, it has some minutes more of life to choose if it wants to give the nexus to someone else by volunteer, or let the mother nature choose randomly, and I want you to have the nexus Blu. I don't know why but, something is telling me that you'll be the greatest owner of the storm nexus, so please, accept it... *cough*
-Blu: Um...a-alright...I will
-Raymond: Thank you...now let me take your wing *stretches his wing*
-Blu: Um, o-ok... *takes Raymond's wing*
-Raymond: Alright, now... *rays were formed around Raymond's and Blu's bodies* when the transmission gets complete, destroy the fallen tree to save her, and then...run away. As you are still too young, it will be dangerous if anyone discovers you are the new storm nexus owner, so go away as far as you can to keep alive, understood?
-Blu: Y-yea...
-Raymond: And Blu. No matter what happens, always fight for what you love...
The transmission gets complete with a huge thunder falling from the sky, and Raymond...giving his last breath...
-Blu: *Laid on the ground after the transmission* Ow...sir? Sir?! *Shakes Raymond gently* can you hear me?!
-Macaw: Is hopeless Blu...he already gave you the nexus, so now...he is in a better place...
-Blu: Oh no...
-Hunter 3: Look! There are two birds over there!
-Blu: Ah! *Punches the fallen tree with electricity in his wing and breaks it* You are free! Now run ma'am!
-Macaw: Thank you so much Blu...I'll never forget what you did for me...*flies away quickly*
-Hunter 3: It's flying awa- *gets hit by a ray* agh!
-Blu: W-wow...I can really do that? :D. Oh, right, I need to run *runs away*
-Hunter 2: Oh no no no, where do you think you are going? *Chasing him* You are coming with me!
-Blu: N-no...I'm...not! *His body fills with lightnings and runs super fast* A-ah! I-I have super speed too?! A-alright...if I have super speed, could I... *runs faster* just a bit more... *runs even faster* come on... *his brown eyes turn into blue and runs as fast as he can* let's...go! *Disappears with a huge thunder falling*
-Hunter 2: *Looking at what just happened* ...I need therapy ._.
Moose lake, Minnesota:
In the middle of the night of a snowy town, a lightning bolt falls from the sky and a little blue chick appears out of nowhere
-Blu: Ah! W-wow...I...I did it! I could teleport to...to...um...where am I? .-. *Looks around* I...think this isn't the jungle anymore...ah! Humans! G-get away!
-Human kid: Wow! Mommy mommy look, there's a little blue bird! :D
-Mother: *Looking at her phone* Oh come on darling, there aren't any blue birds in this town, now keep walking, we need to arrive back home quickly.
-Kid: B-but but...ow... :c *they walk away*
-Blu: Huh? T-they didn't hurt me...that's new...so what's this place anyways? *looks around until he sees a big cartel and reads it* "Moose...lake?" I don't see any lake around here. Hm...welp, I guess...I'll...have to start a life here... *sighs* ok...first, a place where to spend the night...
Blu went walking through the snowy road, trying not to be seen by the humans, while shaking because of the cold weather.
-Blu: Brrr...how cold is h-here...I better find a place soon before I freeze... *keeps walking until he sees an open vent in a building* hmm, if only I could fly... *turns on rays on his wings* maybe the nexus can help me...ok, here goes nothing... *shoots at the ground, and gets launched to the vent* w-wow! I-it really worked! This power is cool... :3 *yawn* well, time for resting *sees three human families through a window walking and talking, while laughing so happily together* even humans spend time together with someone else... *sighs sadly* I wish I had someone to share and spend time with... *lies on a table, staring sadly through the window at the humans wishing goodnight to each other* ...g-goodnight...myself... *closes his eyes with tears*...

Some time later, the building's door was opened and two adult humans and a young one entered
-?: Can we go again another day? :D
-?: Of course we can Linda, but right now, it's time to sleep
-Linda: Awww...but it's still too early...hey *goes to the table* Omg! Daddy! Mommy! There's a chick bird sleeping on the table!
-Mom: What? *goes to the table* oh my, how did it enter?...
-Dad: *Goes too* Hmm... *covers Blu with a little blanket and a little smile forms in the sleeping chick's face* there it goes, for it not to get a cold
-Mom: W-wait, are we going to keep it?! We don't have anything for birds, and what if it belongs to someone else?
-Linda: No, I don't think so. If it did, why would it be here alone?
-Mom: Hmm...I still wonder how this bird entered the house...
-Dad: Yea but I have a better question. What is a chick blue bird doing here in Minnesota? This is not a place for it's species...
-Linda: Dad! Mom! Can we keep it?! Pleeeeaseee :3
-Mom: No Linda, it needs to get back home
-Linda: Awww but...but...look at it! It's so cute... *Pets Blu's head with her finger*
-Dad: We...we'll talk about that tomorrow, but for now, we'll let it spend the night here
-Linda: Hmm...alright, goodnight birdie :3
