Hi everyone, here is the edited version of Chapter 1. I am going to try to keep as close to the original chapters as possible, but there will be some things I definitely change as I am just not happy with them. Hopefully this is okay and that you enjoy it.

Sacrifices have to be made in order to win a war. Something that many members of Fairy Tail were forced to learn quite harshly during the fight against Tartaros. Ensuring the defeat of the Dark Guild had cost the members many things, all with varying effects on the members. Yet, with each sacrifice made; the Dragonslayers loss of their parents, Erza's torture and the death of Gray's own father, it seemed that one member wished to keep her sacrifice a secret. When all bar one Fairy Tail mage, became trapped within the monster Plutogrim and encased within the gooey projectiles of Algeria, no one witnessed their Celestial Spirit mage's own sacrifice, resulting in the loss of her oldest friends, and rescue of her trapped comrades.
Almost a week had passed since the events of Tartaros, the Guild members' emotions still torn, the Dragonslayers still grieving. Lucy herself, had yet to return to the Guild, the members yet to comment on her absence. In her own apartment on Strawberry street, the Celestial Spirit mage was still trying to come to terms with her oldest friend's sacrifice. Had yet to understand why the borrowed magic still hadn't faded. Her beloved spirits, Leo and Virgo, constantly out - on their own magic power when needed - in order to help her master her newfound abilities and come to terms with her most recent loss.
"You can do it Princess! Breathe and gather your magic power before shouting out your command," Leo instructed.
"Clear your mind and think only of what you want to happen. Punishment time Princess?" Virgo added.
Lucy closed her eyes, doing exactly as her spirits instructed, she breathed in deep and gathered her magic power inside her before shouting out her command, "Star dress, Leo!" At first it seemed as though nothing was happening, but after a moment her entire body began to glow. The glow radiating from Lucy grew brighter and brighter, causing the two spirits to cover their eyes. However once the glow had stopped and they reopened their eyes, their mouths dropped at Lucy's new form.
No longer was Lucy in her comfy wool jumper and shorts that had been provided earlier that day by Aries. But instead, Lucy was now in a beautiful long black dress that seemed to match Leo's own suit perfectly. The dress was strapless with a gold frill at the top and even more gold detailing throughout the bodice, and a gold sash on her waist. The skirt was uneven, going from the top of Lucy's left hip all the way down to the bottom of her right foot. A black choker made from the same material as the dress appeared on her neck, and detached sleeves were worn around her arms. Lastly, Lucy's long blonde hair had been tied into an elegant bun atop her head, adorned with a beautiful black rose accessory, and two strands left down to frame her face.
"It worked," exclaimed Leo breathlessly, as he admired his star dress from, taking note of his star sign appearing on Lucy's right breast. It seemed though that not only had Aquarius' star sign remained, so had her previous injuries, caused by Jackal's relentless torture.
Over the past few days, Lucy had been practising her newfound magic, gifted by Aquarius and the Celestial Spirit King. It seemed that unlike Juvia, whose control over water appeared to be related to spells like most others, Lucy's own connection with Water was more instinctual. Water seemed more to be an extension of herself, where she needed only to think and pull from deep within for it to do what she wanted. The sacrifice of Aquarius' key had stung, but it appears that with the destruction of her key, Aquarius has left her abilities to Lucy. Luckily, her close relationship with Aquarius and wide knowledge of her abilities means that Lucy was able to get control over the new magic quicker than usual.
On the other hand, the Star dress ability gifted to her by the Celestial Spirit King, is a new concept to her, meaning it's taking longer for her to get a grasp of it. This magic has left her with the ability to channel one of her contracted spirits, taking on their 'form' and wielding their powers. Out of the spirit's contracted to her, Leo's was the last Star dress form she had to try successfully. The Celestial Spirit mage had been able to perform the Star dress form for each spirit successfully with practise, but would still need to further practise in order to harness their abilities and use their own spells and abilities. Over the past two days, Lucy was able to use two of Aries spells, Wool bomb and Wool cushion.
As the ability to use her new Star dress forms grew stronger and she had better control over her new water magic, Lucy figured it'd be safer for her to return to the guild. The new magic had meant that with her lack of control, she would unconsciously summon shields and water to protect her when feeling threatened or experiencing nightmares. Luckily, even during the nightmares, Lucy's magic was able to subconsciously recognise Leo as a friend, allowing him to enter the shields and get close enough to her that he could calm her down. Therefore she figured that after a hopefully good night's rest, she could return to the Guild tomorrow and start to heal with the rest of the members. Even if she didn't plan on telling anyone about Aquarius just yet.
Unbeknown to the members of Fairy Tail, there wouldn't have much time to recover from the war, as there was a new war brewing, one that would definitely need their help.
At the remains of the Guild, Master Makarov sat in his office letter in hand, processing what was requested. The brats had just been through a war and all were still recovering. He still hadn't seen them all since, and he really didn't want to send them into a situation so soon that could potentially result in another battle. Many of the brats were still recovering from injuries they had sustained, his own Grandson, and team, being one of many that had come so close to death, something that had worried him greatly. Not to mention the Dragonslayers finally being reunited with their parents, only for them to lose them again in what seemed like seconds later, it still pains him to see the bandages on Erza's body as a result of her torture, but proud of her continued determination. He wasn't sure what but something had resulted in Gray and Juvia to become closer, and he knew that Elfman was still beating himself up about his part in the destruction of the guild hall, despite the reassurance of others that they had forgiven him, knowing himself and Mira couldn't lose their sister again. Lastly, he knew there was something bothering Lucy, she hadn't seemed the same since her fight against Jackal, nor had she returned to the Guild. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but she almost seemed like she too had lost someone, in a similar way to the Dragonslayers.
But… He owed it to his old friend. And with what had happened, maybe it could be what his brats needed, to spend time together focusing on something else. The only question was, who would he send?
