(AN: So, in the summary for my other IZ fic "A Human Friend" I accidentally made it sound like it was a ZADR story in the summary. I corrected it after a very rude comment alerted me to what the summary sounded like. I just wanted people I appreciate the support and the pigsh*t troll is not the reason I changed the summary. I honestly didn't intend that fic to be ZADR. This fic however, will be ZADR, though it might be a total dumpster fire as I have never written romance before. Sorry for the long authors note. Please enjoy and leave a review as I am always open to hearing how I can improve my writing.)

Dib snuck through the winding halls of Zim's underground base with a camera, trying to get everything in the large complex on tape. He had managed to dig into the base through the back yard. Which had less protection than the rest of the house. He was surprised he hadn't run into the little green alien yet, but wasn't complaining. This just gave him more time to explore and get evidence to expose Zim as an alien.

He heard a voice from down the hall. It definitely belonged to Zim, but he didn't seem to be talking though. Dib decided to follow the sound to find out what exactly Zim was doing. As he got closer to the room where Zim's voice was coming from the noise got clearer. Dib paused right outside the door. Zim was…humming?

Sure enough Zim was humming the tune of "Tear in My Heart" by Twenty-One Pilots. The strangeness only escalated when Dib peeked through a crack in the door.

The room appeared to be some kind of bathroom. There was a shower in the corner, though one that had a complicated series of buttons instead of the usual human shower controls. The shower head still dripping with a pink fluid that was obviously not water. There was no toilet, but after sstalking /sI mean observing Zim for so long Dib was pretty sure Irkens didn't use the restroom. The alien himself was standing in front of a counter and a mirror. The counter had a bar of what Dib had heard Zim refer to as "cleansing chalk" as well as some other things with labels printed in Irken.

Zim picked up a device that looked like a high-tech hair straightener and brought it to his antenna. That's when Dib noticed that Zim's antenna were curling, much like Tak's had. Zim pressed a button on the device without let the metal bits touch the sensitive leku. The straightener emitted a low buzzing sound, and as Zim moved it over his antenna, it began to straighten. Dib pushed his camera into the crack in the door to make sure he caught this, but he accidentally pushed the door open more which made a loud creak.

Zim's antennae shot up as he noticed the human spying on him. Dib immediately bolted and tried to find an exit. Zim yelled "Computer! Catch the Dib Worm!" several wires came down from the ceiling and tried to grab Dib. He dodged the first set but ran straight into another. Which lifted him off the ground so he was helplessly dangling in the air.

Zim walked up to Dib who was struggling to get free of the mechanical tendrils. One antenna still curled "So Dib Beast, you though you could spy on Zim in his own base eh?" Dib did not respond however, as he realized that Zim was wearing nothing but a pink towel. "Well? ANSWER ZIM!" The tiny invader demanded.

"Uh, Zim?"

"Yes?

"You're not wearing any clothes."

"Oh." Zim said blushing as he pulled the towel more tightly around himself. "Well that's what happens when you spy on someone in their house." He replied indignantly. "Now if you have nothing more to say, I'm going to kick you out now."

"Wait! What was that device you were using?" Dib asked.

"That's for me to know, and you to never find out. Now computer, take the Dib's camera and deposit him outside."

"I'LL EXPOSE YOU ONE DAY ZIM! I'LL PROVE TO EVERYONE THAT YOU'RE AN ALIEN!" Dib screamed as he was thrown out of the base, landing hard on his butt. Defeated for now he began the walk home.

Zim tossed the human recording device in the incinerator as he went back to the bathroom. "Computer, scan the base to see where Dib got in, and add more security there." He said as he turned on the antenna straightener and started working on his left antenna, humming "Montreal" by Penelope Scott as he did so. Music was the one thing that humans had that was superior to Irkens. The militaristic society had no place for creativity, but Zim quite enjoyed it. Too bad it would be gone once he enslaved the human race. Maybe he could make some humans continue to make songs. Songs praising Zim and his many accomplishments. Zim smiled at the thought as he got dressed and went to work on his latest plan to destroy the earth.
