Having a short break from my cinderella story for a few weeks now to write a few chapters on this one. I got some insperation for this about a week ago I'll explain more at the start of future chapters, (should be around 3 to 4 chapters in total). Thanks for reading hope you enjoy ;)
"You did what! You can't just follow a bad guy like that Kayo!"
"If I didn't way more problems would have happened and would have made your job harder, so you should technically be thanking me!"
"Yes, but your job was to observe what was going on and then return to base, I thought we were over this?!"
"And that's all you ever expect me to do, if I only ever followed that order, then I would be left waiting in the wings all my life!"
"But you could have got hurt or made the situation worse for us!"
"And I didn't, I'm trained for these types of things, I can look after myself Scott!"
This carried on for a while, even Virgil could hear the racket from his room where he was peacefully reading a book on his bed (or at least he was trying to), he secretly thought that deep down they both cared and worried about each other more than they knew, he suspected this as this was why Scott had been so worried for Kayo's life once, before the hood had swooped in last second to save her, that was why he was always trying to reason with her because he didn't want that risk to come again.
Virgil had given up by this point, he dumped his book on the duvet, before swinging off the bed to investigate.
He found himself in the main living space after following the sound of shouting which wasn't that hard to do, while he spotted the two peace disturbers floating around the ring trying to prove their points.
They were both so distracted, neither had even bothered to notice the small crowd forming at the edge of the room which included, John who weirdly happened to be on earth for once, Gordon who now had a headache which as uncommon for him, and Alan who had been woken from his nap by the commotion which was solid proof that things were not normal, all of which had joined one by one to Vigils viewing huddle which he had estimated was a safe enough distance to be from the action.
"So, do we butt in?", Alan questioned.
"Nah, they won't listen anyway", Gordon stated knowing that they would be wasting their time.
"I don't care what any of you do, but I'm not getting involved", John remarked, "let's just say crossing paths with Scott and Kayo on the same day won't end up peachy."
John was right for the most part, trying to help out now would do more harm than good, trust me he knew that from experience. It would be just as bad as approaching a wolf fight, but they wouldn't have to wait long for something to happen.
"Honestly, SCOTT do you always have to faff about everything!"
"Well KAYO, maybe I'm just trying to lead this team the best I can!"
"We're not machines so I can't be perfect, as frustrating as you must find that, you even said yourself machines can't think like humans!"
"Well maybe you should start thinking like a better one!"
"WHY ARE YOU SO ANNOYING!", they shouted at each other at once.
Alan even told himself he would be surprised if the mainland didn't hear that last sentence, even if they didn't two others did.
"ENOUGH!", it was Jeff with an unhappy, crossed armed Grandma also stood next to him.
"BOTH OF YOU GO TO YOUR ROOMS NOW AND DON'T COME OUT UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO, WE ARE GOING TO FIGURE THIS OUT TODAY!"
"What? Dad we're not kids anymore!"
"NOW!"
Both left filled with guilt and frustration heading to where they had been told to go.
"The rest of you family meeting in the ring now, we need to come up with a plan to stop these two stating up world war 3 again, ASAP."
"Do you think that will really work?"
"Only one way to find out…"
When Scott and Kayo were finally let out by after a good 45 minutes by Alan and Gordon, both were feeling rather worried to what would happen next, neither had expected the regular arguments would come back into full force again it started off small but became even more out of control over time.
When approaching the ring they were met will every individual in the household to reveal the news to them.
"Soooo?", Kayo questioned as they were sat down next each other.
Jeff made his announcement.
"We have all decided the best way to get you two getting along, and improve your attitude towards each other for good, is for you both to participate in a team building, camp out across the remote parts of the island."
