Prologue: The Terror of Two Worlds
Deep within the earth's core, a portal opens in front of the crystal core that holds a terrifying dragon that nearly destroyed the world. Suddenly black dragon steps forth from the portal as he steps forward toward the crystal core placing a hand upon the smooth surface. "How curious," he said, "A living being trap inside of this stone," he said as a dark aura surrounds him, "Lets us see what we can do about that shall we," he said as dark energy began to pour into the crystal as a smile creeps upon his face as the crystal started to break apart. Soon there was a massive burst of light as the black dragon shields himself from the feedback blast as he was blown back as shards of the crystal flew in all directions and the earth shook. As the light fades away a chunk of the crystal core was destroyed as a purple dragon lays on the ground unconscious. "How intriguing this is what a Purple Dragon looks like" the black dragon said as he crouched down to get a closer look, "His power is certainly undeniable Lord Taurus will be pleased," he said.
However, before the black dragon could lay a hand on him the dark purple dragon grabs his hand as he opens his evil yellow eyes, "Who are you" he questions the black dragon as he simply smiled, "Me my lord. My name is Nightmare. I am a dragon from another world much like your own. I was sent here by my master to free you Lord Malefor." He said bowing as the purple dragon let him go, "And who do I owe my thanks to" he questions as he gets onto his feet.
"The Forbidden One Taurus" Nightmare answered the purple dragon, "I have not heard of him before" Malefor replied as Nightmare simply nodded, "I am not surprised my lord" Nightmare said, "We are not from this world. However, my master wishes to form a "partnership" so to speak." Nightmare said to him as he stood up, "Is that so?" Malefor said but then he laughed, "Ha-ha! I suppose I can entertain the idea but what is in it for me?" he questions the Darkness Dragon.
"Your Destroyer has been stopped has it not" Nightmare questions, "You are weakened by your confrontation with the dragons known as Spyro and Cynder." he continues, "However, we have a way for you to complete your task if you decide to join us," he said to him. As Malefor thought upon his words, "Interesting…You certainly know a lot about me even though we just met." Malefor said.
"Yes, I do my lord" Nightmare answered him, "Let just said I am a huge fan of your work and leave it at that," the black dragon said as Malefor laughs, "I like you very well I will come with you to meet your master and learn of this power you promise me," Malefor said as Nightmare stood up as the two dragons walked through the portal as it slowly closes leaving the crystal core behind…in darkness.
Hello everyone! I'm just letting you all know I am updating the chapters of this story as well bring you guys chapter 2 of Spyro and Sky's Adventure! Sorry for the wait but writer's block is a total jerk not only that I've been planning a new series to write as well here for hoping faster updates and all that!
