Prologue
Planet Earth: Cenozoir Era
Destruction. That was all the man in the red suit saw. Dead trees lay over the vast open. A once lively ecosystem is now a barren wasteland. The man lays on the ground amongst the dead trees. His suit had seen better days. His mask is cracked and bent. The man however, wasn't on the ground for very long because he had a mission to accomplish. He stood up, but as he did a ship flew crashing causing him to fall once again. Not giving up he began to crawl. He made his way to a woman in a yellow suit much like his own. Her hand is reaching towards him. She handed the man an object that resembled a coin. It's center glowed a vibrant yellow. When the coin left the woman's grasp her suit faded away showing an appearance that wasn't quite human. Instead of having peachy sun kissed skin it was grey. Her skin wasn't covered with intricate designs that almost seemed like scars. Her bone structure didn't resemble a human either.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry," the man said in an alien language.
She squeezed the man's hand one last time before she gave her last breath. The man continued to crawl away from his now deceased friend. He went towards a small hole that is in the ground.
"Alpha," he said over an intercom, "I'm the last one. We must stop her. Send the meteor to my coordinates."
The man's red suit faded to reveal the same features of his friend. He grabs five different coins all with various colors out from under him.
"Seek only those who are worthy," he tells the coins, "Find only those who are strong."
He places all of the coins into the hole and they sink into the earth. The man hears laughing to his left. There standing before him is another women, but instead of a yellow or red suit she is wearing a green and holding a golden staff.
"With the zeo crystal, we could have ruled the universe together," she told him.
"That was never going to happen."
"Then you will die, Zordon."
Zordon looks up at the women, no fear was in his gaze.
"We will die together, Rita."
A boom echoes through the wasteland. Both Zordon and Rita turn to it and see a meteor coming down towards earth. It crashes killing Zordon instantly. Rita is flung into the air and towards the sea behind her. Her staff staff disintegrates while she falls. Rita sinks towards the bottom of the sea her glowing green coin floats above her.
