~Christmas~

Hi evribody!

So. I'm new in this world, I hope you like what I wrote.

English is not my first language so please be gentle with me.

Promt: Harvey and Donna met in Harvard. They start a relationship and for Christmas they decided to go to her parents' house. Well... it doesn't go as planned. Related T (M in the end).

BEFORE READING: things written in italics are flashbacks

Harvey Specter was born in Boston in a family not really wealthy, his mother couldn't find work and his father was a musician, he played the saxophone. His dad has never had so many gigs to be able to pay all the bills, which is why Harvey started working in eighth grade after school. First in his father's recording studio, so he could be watched, but when he got old enough, he applied for a mail-sorting job in a law firm. One day Harvey found a contract which had been mailed about the eviction of an elderly lady's house. He took the letter to the office he had been shown by the secretary in the hall and there he found Jessica Pearson. The woman saw talent and desire in him, so she decided to pay him college to become a lawyer. He was going to go to Harvard.

Donna Paulsen was born in Connecticut into a very rich and well-known family. Donna from an early age developed a great interest in music and entertainment. At 8 she began to study piano and singing while at 11 she began a theater course which slowly became her dream. She applied to many universities but eventually decided on the most prestigious: Harvard.

Donna and Harvey met in there, at the beginning of the school year, 1st of September. It wasn't planned, it wasn't some of those beautiful encounters you can see in movies, but for them it was perfect. From that moment they have been inseparable, always doing things together.

Harvey had invited Donna to his apartment, a little out of the campus, the one that cost less.

He cooked for her, he made her laugh and minute after minute she was secretly falling for him a little more already without her realizing. After dinner he told her she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, she blushed and that was it. He took her home, a luxurious room inside of the campus that she was dividing with her best friend Rachel, and arrived at the door, he kissed her cheek and said goodnight. She smiled, stopping him from going away that soon and kissing him, saying her own goodnight before he went home with a big smile.

--

Now was Christmas Eve, Donna and Harvey have been together for the last 4 months more or less. They exchanged their 'I love you' after only three weeks, they went out for a weekend together after a month for their first anniversary, they studied together and they went to parties together.

Donna truly loves Harvey, she doesn't care about his social status, people are the same, money doesn't matter for her. Harvey is the sweetest, smartest and funniest guy she has ever met. Every day with him is a new experience.

"Harvey, can I ask you something?" They were at her apartment, Donna invited Harvey for study but as soon as she opened the door he caught her lips with his and the idea of study went away.

They are now laying on her couch hugged tightly together after a good make out session.

"Of course you can Donna" he said distractedly as his finger drew imaginary circles on her belly.

"You don't want to be seen with me??"

They've been together for a week and a half, there have been a couple of parties but they didn't go together, and they never went out to do boyfriend/girlfriend things.

"WHAT?! Of course not" he pulled himself up a little, putting himself in a more comfortable position to look her in the eyes.

"So why didn't you want to go to that party with me or just go out and take a walk with me?"

He looked away, not wanting her to see his fears.

"Harvey, talk to me"

"It's not that I don't want to be seen with you" he looked in her eyes again, for a moment lost in the hazel pools. "I don't want you to be seen with me" he took a big breath, looking at her shocked face.

"You are you, Donna, you're popular, come from a rich family. I am just… me. People like you have never talked to me, except to make fun of me. And honestly, I'm still a little surprised that you're so nice to me. The point is, your friends won't like me and everyone will have something to say about us. And I don't want it to end"

"Oh Harvey" she kissed him, another time touched by his sensitivity and for taking care of her already, "if anyone has something to say, they'll just say it okay? If my friends say something bad to you or to me then they weren't good friends from the beginning. And I won't leave you just for some bad judgments"

He kissed her this time, still not believing this was happening to him.

"Come on, take your coat"

"Didn't you want to study?"

"Well, it was my intention but we did something better" she smirked at him and stood up from the couch "now take your jacket, we are going out"

He took the jacket off the ground where Donna had thrown it off, and followed her out.

He stayed at a safe distance for a while but the urge to have a conversation while looking into her eyes was too much so by the time they got to the ice cream parlor, he was holding her hand and smiling, even stealing a few kisses from her.

They were this for each other, a safe place to take refuge.

Some people have judged, yes. But they were happier than ever. And Rachel accepted Harvey with no problems, which meant that he could visit his girlfriend whenever he wanted without having any problems from her roommate.

--

Anyway.

It was Christmas Eve and Donna and Harvey decided to meet each other's parents.

Christmas at Donna's and New Year at Harvey's.

He dressed up for the occasion. Wearing his best suit, with a tie that matched Donna's shirt. She thought it was better going a little sportive and not wearing a dress.

"Hey, you okay?" she asks when they were in front of the door of the house and Harvey looked shocked.

"You grew up here?" he turned around to get a better look at the majestic house and the respective gardens a little better.

"Yep" she sighs "when I was a little girl I thought having a big house was a beautiful thing. I played princess and forced my brother to be a prince. When I grew up, however, it only reminded me that my parents were never home and how much I missed them when they were on a business trip"

"You missed them"

"Yes"

"Well it's really a beautiful house and the fact that you missed them means you really love them. I think it's normal" he said and she smiled up at him. He always finds the best in everything.

"You ready?" she asked and he nodded his head.

He really hopes her parents will like him because she loves them and he doesn't want to make her choose between him and her parents.

Donna rang the doorbell and within seconds a maid came to open the door and take their coats. She led Harvey to the dining room where her parents, Avery and Jim, and her brother, David, were having an aperitif.

Silence fell in the hall as the three people watched Harvey and Donna closely. They looked at each other and smiled forcefully.

"Hi mom. Hi dad. I missed you" Donna said to relieve the tension in the room.

"I'm no one right?" her brother talks first, mocking his little sister.

"I missed you too, Dave" she laughed.

"You want to introduce us to your friend darling?" her mother said in a too cold tone.

Donna found curious the label her mother gave to Harvey as she personally told her that she would have brought her boyfriend home.

"Family, this is Harvey Specter, my boyfriend" she announced smiling lovely at Harvey.

"Nice to meet you" he said politely, a little bit scared by the looks he was receiving from her father.

"Nice to meet you too Harvey" Avery said with a smile.

Donna didn't miss her father and brother rolling her eyes, and she found herself hoping Harvey hadn't seen them.

But he did notice it, so he started looking at the ground, thinking of a way to show them how much he cares and loves Donna.

"Let's just go have dinner, shall we?" her dad said before disappearing behind a door.

"I have the slightly feeling that your family doesn't like me very much" Harvey whispered in her ear when her mother and her brother disappeared behind a door too.

"Probably it's just protection for their little baby girl" Donna said trying to convince herself and him at the same time.

"Probably" he wasn't stupid, he realized she didn't want him to feel bad about the fact that her parents don't like him. And he loves her for that. She would never hurt anyone. She would choose to hurt herself more than hurt someone else.

He followed Donna to the dining room, where her family was already seated.

"How is the first year of university going, sweetie?" Avery asked her baby girl once the food was served by a very scared waitress.

"It's really good. Harvard is wonderful and I already have a part in the end of year show"

Donna said smiling, very proud of herself.

"Which role?" David asked curiously, knowing their parents wouldn't have asked.

"Surprisingly they assigned me the lead role, Ophelia. Not bad at all for someone in the first year" she said "I'm so very excited for that"

"That's good, honey, we're happy for you" Jim talked after some second of an awkward moment.

"Thanks dad" it was a whisper. She thought her parents were going to be happier, she found herself multiple times wondering what her mother and father's reaction would have been like during the school months. And this wasn't it.

Harvey found her hand under the table, seeing the change on her face.

The contact made Donna smile and turn her head to look at him for a moment before get lost in the memory of when she told him about her role.

Donna had been stressed for weeks, she had rehearsed the lines every minute she was free and she also overlooked Harvey a bit during that time.

Harvey and Donna had a date on the night of their second month's anniversary. He told her they did celebrate the first one month with a weekend trip and this time he wanted to celebrate the second so much that he planned a surprise for her. And Donna's heart melted once again.

Harvey cooked dinner in his apartment. He made pesto pasta, knowing how much Donna loves Italian food, and had lit lots of candles in his living room, where he had made room for an elegantly set table with a white tablecloth on it. Trying to get the most romantic atmosphere he could.

He wanted everything to be perfect, he didn't have the money to pay for a chic restaurant and party the way one should celebrate two months with Donna, but he tried to do his best.

They had arranged to meet at Harvey's at 7pm, in that way, they could eat and then go on with the other part of the night, which is watching Hamlet on TV together as cuddling on the couch.

As Harvey was creating the perfect date, Donna was at her house resting after the audition she did earlier that afternoon. She was waiting for the phone call from her teacher who would tell her if she had managed to get a role and, if yes, which one.

When her phone rang, her heart skipped a beat and she barely found the straight to take it in her hand and accept the call.

"Hello?"

"Miss Paulsen, I'm professor Smith, I wanted to tell you that you have great talent and you got the main part. You're going to play Ophelia for the end of year show"

Donna let out a little excited scream and then recompose herself. "Thank you, thank you so much"

The teacher ended the call as Rachel came into Donna's room with a worried face.

"You ok? I heard you screamed"

"Yeah, all amazing. My teacher just called and said I'll play Ophelia" she said, throwing her arms around her best friend hugging her.

"Oh my God, that's amazing. We need to celebrate. Just get dressed because we're going out for drinks"

"Alright, give me 20 minuts"

She hurried and dressed in a short black skirt, black collant and a slightly transparent red blouse so you can see the black bra. Then she grabbed her purse and her phone, and exited the apartment with Rachel.

Half an hour into that bar and she was at the end of her first drink.

Donna shared the news with Samantha and Katrina when they met at the bar and the four girls took a seat at a table in the corner to celebrate.

"To Donna" the girls toasted and started a conversation full of laughs and giggles.

"We need a picture to remember this moment" Katrina said and Donna took her phone from her beg.

"Oh shiiiit, my phone is dead" the redhead said when her screen went black.

"Don't worry, I'll take the pictures"

"Thanks Rach"

It was 11pm when Donna got home and she just put the phone on charge, changed and got into bed.

The morning after, when she woke up, she had breakfast with Rachel and then got ready for a new day.

When she unplugged the phone from charging, her phone turned on and revealed 5 messages not read from one chat and 2 missed calls with one vocal message. It was then that she remembered what day it was yesterday.

Harvey, 7:10 -- Hey, you on the way?

Harvey, 7:15 -- Are you ok?

Harvey, 7:35 -- Donna, are you okay? I'm getting worried

Harvey, 8:00 -- The next time just tell me if you don't want to come

Harvey, 8:20 -- Okay I'm tired, happy anniversary Donna

First vocal message 7:43:"Hey, sorry if I call you after texting you three times, I don't want to pester you. I'm just worried about you, maybe something happened to you on your way here? I do not want to think about it. Just... please let me know if you're fine"

His voice was full of concern, he really was worried about her and she was at a bar with her friends, getting drunk and she had completely forgotten about her boyfriend -who by the way was the most loving and sweetest boyfriend ever- and their anniversary.

Great Donna, just great.

"Shit shit shit shit shit" she collected her things and ran out of the door.

In half an hour she was at Harvey's. She grabbed the keys in her purse -he gave her the keys of his apartment just two weeks ago- and opened the door.

When she entered the door, her heart broke a bit more. All the candles where still there, just out now. The table was still set, the white tablecloth still there and in the middle a box that she opened and found inside a jewel clearly inspired by the jewel of Ophelia.

"Oh fuck, stop being so perfect" this brought tears in her eyes. She forgot, she never forgets.

She ran to his class and waited for the end of the lesson.

When he exited, he noticed immediately the red hair moved by the wind.

"At least you seem to be fine" he said when he approached her.

"Harvey I'm so sorry. I just… I-"

"You just forgot, I figured that"

"I'm sorry. Yesterday after the audition my teacher called and said I'm going to play Ophelia and Rachel announced we were going out for drinks and I just forgot" she cried. "Gosh I'm so terrible. You're always so sweet and perfect and I-"

He kissed her and then pulled her into a hug.

"You got the part?? Oh Donna, I'm so proud of you" he kissed her forehead and he hugged her even tighter "don't worry for the anniversary, we'll have others"

"We will?"

"Of course we will. Now come on, I finished class and I don't have to go to work. Let's go and eat some of that pasta I cooked yesterday"

"What do you study Harvey?" Avery asked in a not quite polite tone and woke Donna from her little trip into the past.

"I'm studying law, I want to become a lawyer and work in New York" he was smiling and Donna was too.

She admires him for having his future planned and the determination he has for making his goals become reality.

"How do you exactly pay Harvard?" Jim for the first time he spoke to Harvey. His tone of disgust and he didn't even try to cover it up.

"Dad!" Donna snapped. It was disrespectful to ask and it embarrassed her.

"What?! I was just asking"

"It's okay, I don't mind" Harvey said looking at Donna with the sweetest voice ever. He turned to look at her father and answered calmly "I got a scholarship that obviously doesn't cover the tuition, the other part pays Jessica Pearson. She is a lawyer who works in a firm in New York where I got a temporary job last summer"

"Ah" Jim rolled his eyes and Donna could already feel the tears in her eyes.

Harvey was answering politely, he didn't get angry when her father asked about his finances but her family was treating him poorly anyway.

"I got to admit when a month ago Scottie said you were dating him I couldn't believe her" now was her mother's time to share her opinion on Donna's relationship.

"What?! You make Scottie spy on me, but you realize it's crazy right?" anger was growing in every cell in herself.

"Not as crazy as an idea given the choices you make"

"Oh my God" Donna tossed the cutlery she was holding onto the table, anger was controlling her till she felt a hand on her thigh and she calmed down a little.

"Hey, I can go and let you all enjoy your Christmas, I don't mind" Harvey said looking straight into her hazel eyes with a small smile saying he was okay to go away.

"That would be nice, thank you" Jim answered before Donna had the chance to do it.

"What?! No! You stay here while you two come with me" she stood up from her chair and looked at her parents signaling to follow her.

"Donna Roberta Paulsen it's not polite to get up when at the table" Avery spoke.

"Oh yeah like you've been polite since now. Follow me" she started walking to the kitchen as her parents stood up from the table with a sigh, leaving Harvey and David alone.

"Ok, what's your problem?" Donna snapped as they entered the room.

"Don't talk to us like that Donna" Jim said "you know that boy is not appropriate, that's not why we sent you to Harvard"

"What does that mean? I go to Harvard because I want to study acting"

"No, you go to Harvard because you have to find a respectable guy with a good family and then marry him. And for God's sake stop thinking you're going to be an actress"

"What?!" Donna couldn't help the tears in her face "I don't want to become like you mom. I love you and I respect you but I'm not the person who marry someone just to be maintained"

"Don't talk like that to your mother"

"Don't talk like that to Harvey"

"So this is the problem, your boyfriend?! Donna, you'll let him as soon as you'll open your eyes and see who he really is. A poor boy who won't ever realize his little dreams"

"You don't know him, you can't say it"

"Oh come on, you know you can't last. You come from different families and-"

"DON'T TOUCH MY SISTER" David's voice came from the dining room.

Donna turned around and ran into the near room in time to see his brother hit Harvey in the face and Harvey doing nothing to stop him.

"What the hell is wrong with you David" the young redhead screamed running towards Harvey, caressing his face gently as he looked at her in the eyes, telling her he was okay "I'm so sorry, let's get out of here"

Donna took Harvey's hand guiding him out of the house after having grabbed their coats.

After closing the door behind her, she hugged him and cried. He just hugged her back and kissed her head. They stood there for a few minutes and then they walked to the car where Harvey sat in the driver place and Donna next to him.

They looked at each other and at the same time they said "I'm sorry".

Donna frowns "You are sorry? You have nothing to be sorry for, I'm the one embarrassed. They have said bad things that are untrue"

"Don't worry about that, I'm used to it"

"You shouldn't be"

"But I am and I'm not offended, I knew there was a chance it would happen. I'm sorry because you wanted them to like me and they don't"

Donna couldn't help it. She got up from the seat and in one quick motion sat down on

Harvey's lap and hugged him again.

"Stop being so sweet, I will develop an Harvey addiction" that made him laugh and leave a kiss on her neck.

"So you are not angry because they don't like me?" he said as he felt her moving and placed her forehead against his.

"Of course not" she placed a kiss on his rose lips "You are not angry because what they said right?"

He answered her by kissing her passionately, asking permission by biting her lip to stick his tongue into her mouth. She conceded and moaned.

"For as much as I would like to make out with you in your car, I think is better if we move from my parent's driveway"

"You're the one on my lap Paulsen"

"You're right" she moved to her place again and smiled at him "let's go back to the university"

"Oh no way" he started the engine and cautiously set out on the street "I'm not letting you celebrate the night of Christmas Eve into your universitary room"

She smiled, he always made her feel special and loved. And he always looks so innocent but when he has to be strong, he is.

"Can I ask you something?" she said after some minutes in silence as he was driving to somewhere she was clueless.

"Everything" he smiled.

"You have been boxing since you were a child right?"

"Yes"

"So why didn't you defend yourself when my brother hit you?"

"I… I… I didn't want to hit him, he is your brother, I didn't want to hurt him"

"Oh"

"And what's more, your brother fights worse than a baby girl" he said as they started laugh together, "I'm sure you would hit harder"

"Yeah, my brother is not really a sporty guy" Donna chuckled, remembering a time when they were kids and she wanted to play football with him and their grandpa but her brother preferred to dance.

Another comforting silence fell between them, both of them lost in their thoughts.

"You know, they told me I won't realize my dream" she said, looking out of the window and the lights of the city illuminated her eyes full of tears.

At her words, he stopped the car in a blast. She turned her head and looked at him curiously.

"Get out" he said, opening his door. She obeyed, finding herself out of the car, looking at Harvey as he opened the trunk and took out a picnic basket and what appeared to be a little cooler.

Just then, she figured he brought her to the main park of her hometown and a small smile appeared on her lips. He said nothing, just took her hand and guided her under a tree lit by christmas decorations. Harvey opened the basket and took out a blanket and spread it out on the grass in one swift and effective motion.

He took her hand again and made her sit down next to him, really close.

"Listen to me" he said and with a hand he took her face so she was looking at him in the eyes "You'll make it Donna. You will realize your dream. If there is someone in the world I'm sure will have the future she wants, it's you. You have talent, and I'm not saying it just because I love you, but because it's the truth, everyone has seen it. You said that for a first year she doesn't usually be the protagonist, but you did it. You've beaten people who've been taking that course for years" she was looking into those awesome brown pools as tears dropped from her hazel eyes "You will have your dream life, okay?"

He was hugging her tightly, she was practically sitting on his lap right now.

Harvey, then, ran his thumb over Donna's cheeks to wipe away her tears and then couldn't resist stroking her slightly quivering lower lip.

She whispered an 'okay' and left a peck on his lips before turning her head to the basket in front of them, "what's in there?"

"I cooked something before I left, just in case. I knew it could have happened, I'm sor-" his words were interrupted by her soft lips on his, melting in a tender kiss.

"Stop saying it, it's their problem" she smiled "so, what my amazing boyfriend cooked me this time?" she teased.

Harvey was an excellent cook, he told her, he cooked for his little brother while his parents were working late at night and during the day.

Harvey laughed softly caressing her hip. "Nothing really special, all things that can be eaten without heating them. There is a plate of cold rice, some salad, one of salmon canapes and a chocolate cake that I got in our favorite bakery"

"And in that beg?"

"There is a bottle of water and one of red wine"

"Fantastic, let's eat. I'm starving"

Donna immediately took the rice and began to eat it, Harvey instead started with the canapes and opened the bottle of wine and then poured the liquid into the plastic cups that until then were placed inside the basket.

"Are you going to share your rice with me or you are just going to eat all of it alone?" he teased, seeing how much she is enjoying the food he made.

"I'm going to share just because you cooked all of this"

"Just for that?" she turned to look at him and found Harvey watching her with his puppy eyes and she smiled warmly.

"Also because you're adorable" he pecked her lips whispering a little 'thank you' and stole her plate from her lap, causing her to laugh.

After their dinner full of jokes and laughter, and kisses and caresses, and sweet words, they started to feel cold and ran back into the car turning on the heat. Harvey started the engine and started driving again while Donna was entertaining him by singing random Christmas songs that played on the radio.

She stopped singing when Harvey, instead of taking the road to the freeway, went straight, continuing on that road. "Harvey, you know this is not the way back to Harvard, right?"

"I know" he said calmly.

"Where are we going? Are you kidnapping me?"

"That's what you would ask if someone kidnaps you? That would never work" he laughed.

"We are not going back to the campus. I'm not letting you pass Christmas Eve at university"

"Harvey, Harvard is fine. And where would we even go to sleep?"

"Someone really clever, some time ago, invented the hotels you know?" she just rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to speak but he once again stopped the car and told her to get out.

They were in front of a hotel. A modern looking hotel decorated for christmas.

"Come on" Harvey said, pulling her inside by taking her little hand in his.

The lobby was decorated with wallpaper that made everything look gold. To the left of the entrance were white sofas, while to the right was the reception, where a man was working on the computer with a not very happy face. Who would be happy to work on Christmas Eve?

"Ehm… Good evening" Harvey said as soon as they approached the man.

"Good evening, what can I do for you?" the man said, eyes still glued on the screen.

"I'd like to know if you have a room available" the young man continued and the receptionist turned around to look at the couple. He rolled his eyes and returned to his computer duties.

"Yes, we have one room left, you are lucky. It's a little small but I think you will be okay"

"Thank you" Harvey said, showing his biggest smile as Donna was still in shock by the place and his idea of staying in a hotel. "How does it cost?"

"312 dollars"

Harvey pulled out his wallet without hesitation but before he could pay Donna stopped him, taking his arm and pulling him slightly back.

"Harvey don't! We can come back to the university, watch a film and cuddle. That's your three-months salary"

He smiled at her, grateful to have found a girl who doesn't despise him for who he is and who doesn't expect anything. Harvey kissed her on the cheek, turned and handed his credit card to the gentleman at the front desk.

Checked in, the man gave him the room key and instructed them on the way.

"You really didn't have to do this" Donna said, shaking her head a little when they got into the elevator.

"You said it yourself, it was my money and I wanted to spend it this way. For you" he took her hand and pressed the button to the fourth floor. Donna hugged him sideways and let a kiss on his clothed shoulder, closing her eyes and letting her emotions fly in her body.

The elevator ding made her reopen her eyes and Harvey's strong hand took hers guiding her into the room. This should feel weird, spending the night in a hotel room, with a guy, alone.

But it doesn't. Harvey is special. She knows he won't force her to do anything, he didn't mind when she told him she was still virgin and didn't want to rush things.

"Oh look, we can light the fireplace" Harvey walked into the room and saw the fireplace with wood beside it.

Donna watched his actions and a soft giggle came out of his mouth unable to be stopped.

"Can we?"

"Never underestimate me Paulsen, I lit up many fireplaces over the years of camping with my family"

"Define many" she approached him and put her hands on his shoulders as he bent down to put the pieces of wood in the fireplace before trying to light it.

"Ehm… well… two" he heard her laugh as she went to sit down on the giant bed.

"And that's many?" she teased but she had to admit she was enjoying the show, the scene was making her lower belly feel a weird thing, something she has never felt with anyone else but Harvey.

"Well, it's twice the times Murcus did"

"Your little brother?"

"Yes, he is two years younger than us"

"Is he interested in law too?"

"Oh no, he likes cooking and baking and all that culinar things" Harvey got up and sat down next to her on the bed, but first turned off the light so he could enjoy the natural glow of the fire.

"I said I could do it"

"You did" Donna smiled and with one hand took his face making it collide with hers in a sweet kiss. "So, what do we do now?" she asked, thoughtful.

"Well I have an idea but..." he lost his words when the fiery light illuminated Donna's hair making it even more shiny and so red. She is absolutely the most beautiful and perfect girl he has ever seen.

She noticed him, his gaze was passing her, looking straight into her soul and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks so she looked down, trying to keep under control the heat on her face.

"Harv? The idea?"

"What… ah yeah…" she chuckled softly, she can't believe she can destabilize him so much.

"We have this tradition at home, every Christmas Eve we write down different things we want from life and then we burn the paper so them can realize"

"Isn't it like good resolutions for next year?"

"Well, my dad is a musician and not every New Year's Eve was home so we did that on Christmas" he said, a small smile on his lips as she was listening to every word with amusement.

"Let's do it then, I saw papers and two pens over there, on the table"

Harvey got up and, as Donna said, found the materials on the tiny table next to the door.

"So how do I do this?"

"You just write what you want from your life. When Marcus and I were baby, we wrote every toy that came to our minds"

They smiled at each other and then Donna changed position and gave her back to Harvey.

"Don't try to peek Specter"

"I won't, don't worry"

After a few moments of silence and thought, Harvey and Donna finished their wish list and put them upside down on the bed between them without showing it to the other.

"Now we burn it?" she asked, excited for taking part of one of her boyfriend's family traditions.

"Yes, but first I need to go to the bathroom" he stood up and made his way to the bathroom's door before turning around again to look at her "Don't look at my list when I'm gone ok?"

"Of course Harvey" she said, watching him disappear.

The first thing Donna did was, of course, pick Harvey's paper and read. It brought tears in her eyes. Couldn't help but feel happy and in love.

His list read:

1. A life with Donna

2. See Donna shine on a stage

3. Become the best lawyer NYC has ever seen

4. Helping my parents with money and helping Marcus buy his dream restaurant

5. Subscribe myself to a car club

As the last point made her chuckle, the first ones made her cry. The generosity and the heart of that man. Nobody she has ever met is like him.

She took her list then and put it next to his and took a picture, not wanting to forget this night ever.

Her list read:

1. Sharing a bed with Harvey forever

2. Accompany Harvey to those snobbish galas when he becomes New York's best lawyer and make fun of that rich people

3. Graduate in theater acting

4. Go to New York and hit Broadway

She replaced the tears with a big smile when she saw Harvey coming back and sit again next to her on the bed.

"Ok, now we're ready to burn the lists" he said picking his list balling it up and throwing it into the fireplace. And Donna did the same.

They stood there for a few minutes, watching the flames of the fire. Slowly Donna slipped into his arms and rested her head on his shoulder and picked up the phone to check the time, 10:34 pm.

"It's still so early" she commented, breaking the silence.

"I have something for you" he said as he felt her head moving up from his shoulder "I know we said no gifts but I couldn't not give you something. Besides is really nothing fancy"

Harvey reached for his bag, where there are his clothes, and took a little box out of it.

It was a sunny day at the beginning of september in Boston. Harvey was walking around the campus trying to remember where the library was. He was looking at his phone when something shiny caught his attention. He went down on one knee and took the object.

It was a pound coin that sparkled in contrast to the sun's rays. He stood up again, thinking about the story his grandfather used to tell him when he was a little boy.

Concentrated on playing with the coin, moving it between his fingers and looking at it, he did not see the girl who was coming towards him. She too distracted reading what looked like a script.

They collided. She lost her balance but luckily Harvey was quick and put his hands on her hips to keep her on her feet. The script fell to the ground like the coin but neither of them noticed it, too busy looking into each other's eyes. Feeling something change within them.

"I'm sorry, I was distracted, I didn't see you coming" he said, looking in the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen.

"Don't worry, I was in another world too" she smiled.

They were close, too close for two strangers. He eventually released the grip on her hips and took a step back.

"I'm Donna Paulsen by the way" she extended her hand to him and he shook it.

"Well Donna, I'm-"

"Harvey Specter, I know" she interrupted him letting go of his hand.

"How do you exactly know about me?" he frown.

"My best friend and roommate Rachel is in your same class" she said like it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Do you study acting?" he said, kneeling down to grab her script and his coin.

"Yes, I do"

"Cool" he smiled and Donna swore she could feel something inside her click "I was actually searching for the library, can you help me?"

"I can. I was going to grab a coffee and come back to the library. Do you want to come with me?" she surprised even herself. Was she really asking a stranger for a coffee?

"I could use a coffee, thanks"

"Come on, let's go"

"Do you remember the day we met?"

"I have a vague memory, yes" she laughed, probably that was her favourite day ever.

"Right" he sighs, feeling a bit embarrassed "anyway, before you collided with me-"

"You mean before you collided with me" she teased.

"You want your gift?" he said and she bit her lower lip to keep her mouth shut "I was saying, before we collided, I found a coin. A pound actually. I was thinking about a story my grandpa used to tell me, about this princess who liked to leave a coin in every place she goes to, and how that coin would bring luck to the one who finds it" Harvey gave Donna the box and she started to open it.

On the inside there was the coin with a hole on the top of which passed a brown leather lace.

"Harvey…" she sighs, already feeling tears in her eyes.

"That day I didn't just found the coin, I met the princess too" he smiled as tears stormed out of her eyes "and since that day I feel like the luckiest guy ever because I met you"

Her arms around his neck as her lips crashed with his in what started with a tender kiss transforming into a passionate and hot one. She moved and positioned herself in his lap.

Maybe grinding too much, feeling his erection grow. His hands on her lower back going down caressing her ass.

"Donna…" he sighed. If she doesn't still her movements, he will grow hard and then come into his pants.

Her lips trailing a path from his lips to his neck, sucking on his sweet point on his neck.

"Make love to me Harvey?" she looked at him in the eyes. Hazel pools became black ones, filled with desire for him.

"You sure?" he said, he didn't want to press her in doing something she'll regret.

"I am"

Her hands found the hem of his shirt, taking it off with his help. Her fingers scratching his abs and her hips searching friction. One of his hands caressed his way up her body to stop on the left side of her breast, his finger massaging her nipple through the fabric making her moan against the skin of his neck.

Harvey slowly unbuttoned her shirt kissing the path from her shoulder to her collarbone to the thin fabric of her bra. Her hands slipped from his abs to his belt, opening it and then massaging his dick through the black fabric of his pants. She moved forward trying to take his cock out of his boxer but he stopped her.

"Let me take care of you first"

He turned them around, pressing her body against the mattress. He gave her a peck on her lips and then he sucked on her neck. He trailed a path from the valley of her breasts to the hem of her pants as her hands found the way into his hair.

He slowly opened each button of her pants torturing her a little and gently pulled them off.

She was watching him, every move and every kiss he gave her. He was back on her in no time, placing a kiss on each of her inner thighs. A mischievous smile rose on his face as he slowly pulled off Donna's panties.

She whimpered, caused by the cold air against her wet and hot core. Harvey stood up again, taking off his boxer with his pants too.

Harvey placed himself on Donna covering her lips with his, feeling her hands on his biceps. She could feel the tip of his manhood rubbing her clit and she closed her eyes to the new sensation.

"You ok?" he asked, leaving soft kisses on her jaw.

"More than" Donna kissed him and once again grind her hips with his, feeling how hard he is for her.

Harvey opened a condom and put it in place. He made eye contact with her and she nodded her head, feeling the question in his gaze.

Harvey entered her slowly being careful not to hurt her. A 'Harvey' slipped out of her mouth.

He let Donna adjust to his size and then he started moving gently, slowly. In no time she was panting and letting out 'oh Gods', 'Harveys' and 'oh fuck'. Harvey was like that too. He lost his virginity a year ago but being inside

Donna was something special, it felt right.

After some minutes she was coming, feeling her first orgasm, walls tighten around Harvey.

She was still on the waves of pleasure when she felt Harvey emptying himself inside her.

He came out of her and took off the condom before standing next to Donna, pulling up the covers and hugging her, waiting for her breathing to settle.

"How was it?" he asked, a bit unsure. What if she didn't like it? What if he ruined her first time?

"That was amazing Harvey" she smiled turning her head just enough for kissing him.

He smiled before turning around and taking his phone. "Wow, look at this, it's past midnight"

They got comfortable, not caring to get dressed. Just cuddling each other.

"Merry Christmas Harvey" she smiled mischievously and took his hand from her hip and brought it to rest on her breast.

He was left speechless by her action and the only thing he managed to say is "M-m-merry Christmas Donna"
