My name is Violet and my twin sister is Aelita. Life was hectic between school, writing, and XANA attacks but it was good. It was good. . .until the return to the past bugged up. We were split up across the globe. Our only hope was to find one another and return to the present. We were stuck with a deadly virus, slavery, and collars. We had to learn to adapt to this new world.

1. Prologue

Hello! Moria Fela here or Moria! I'm new to fanfiction but not new to writing. This my first fanfiction titled Return To The Present. It is an AU with an OC. I do not own Code Lyoko. I do own my OC.

Prologue:

Violet POV

We changed the world with the last return to the past. It altered the timeline we live in. X.A.N.A, a deadly virus, infected most of the population causing people to get some crazy uncanny ability. Some could breathe fire while others could transform into bears. They became known as Lyokoians. It was like our Lyoko forms but manifested in superpowers in the real world. The virus didn't affect everyone but it was still a major concern. Over time a man named Franz Hopper created a device that controlled the Lyokoians powers. It was a small device implemented in a metal collar. It would be placed around the necks of the Lyokoians forcing them into submission. We all wanted to go back to before the return to the past. I did too.
