KENDALL'S POV"What! There's a new girl group who'll get signed with us, not just one of us?!" James screeched.
"Yes! Gustavo continued, "But, before you judge them, meet them." He gestured toward the door. Four girls stood there.
One was half-latina, with straight brown hair, brown eyes, and amazing cheekbones. She looked like you could crush by tapping her on the shoulder. Her glossy pink lips curved into a smile. "Hi. I'm Tori, the lead singer."
The girl next to her looked about ready to murder her. She had ivory skin and a few tattoos. Her voluminous dyed-black hair with a few thick purple streaks in it fell past her shoulder blades and she twirled sharp silver scissors threateningly over her pointer finger. She looked tough. Her mouth fell into a scowl. "No, Tori, you are the back vocalist. You don't need to know my name and I'm one of two lead singers."
The next girl over giggled, drawing our attention. She had tan skin and dyed-red hair. Her hair was red velvet cupcake color and long. Her big doe eyes were a soft brown and framed by long lashes. "I'm Cat! The other lead singer! Actually, my full name is Caterina, but only my grandmother calls me that. And she's dead. And Jade doesn't actually want to kill you with the scissors I got her, but she just broke up with her boyfriend and Tori was being mean about it. Like my brother when he poked a clown!"
Then the last girl. She was latina, with shiny black hair. Her brown eyes sparkled mischievously as she flipped her waves over her shoulder, raising an eyebrow in the process. She was, definitely, a troublemaker. And sassy. "Supporting vocals. And, if you've already forgotten me, I can't help you."
"Of course we didn't forget you, Lexi. How could we?" I reassured her. "But seriously, what happened to you? Tell us everything." She rolled her eyes.
"How about we go to the pool and tell the life stories of the four of us? Great idea, let's go." Tori walked down to the pool.
At the pool, Tori took a deep breath and started self-importantly. "Well, I probably have the most interesting life, so I'll start.
I was born in Seattle, Washington as Shelby Victoria Marx-Vega. At age nine I got into MMA fighting. I was the world-famous Shelby Marx. Then I got tired of ending up in the hospital every few weeks. I changed my name and everything. I moved to LA at sixteen, started living with my half-sister Trina, and dated the hottest guy in school, Danny. He cheated on me so I broke up with him. Then I took Trina's place in the big showcase and went to Hollywood Arts. I made an enemy of Jade and a best friend out of Cat. Then Gustavo came up to me and asked me to join a band. And yeah.
That was the most boring life story ever. Literally. We all looked to Cat for the next most boring. But Lexi volunteered.
"Yeah, I don't have a boring life but Cat and Jade have much more eventful stories."
I was born in Minnesota with these hockey heads. I was better friends with them then they are, even now, with each other. Then I turned seven and my parents brought me to New York. I fell out of touch with the boys and started school at John Quincy Adams School, where I was part of a bunch of crazy schemes in the history class. When I turned eleven, my dad left. When I turned thirteen, my mom asked if I wanted my own apartment even though she'd always be my mom. So then at fourteen Jade and Cat were staying at my apartment and we had become friends. Then they moved and I got a semi-nice classmate named Harper who I've been hanging out with for a few years. Oh, and Trina went out with Harper's brother Justin. And Big Time Rush is named after me to some extent, right? My full name is Alexandria Selene Rush.
"Yeah,"Logan laughed, "It is. I came up with it." He puffed out his chest proudly.
"Okay, so Jadey's story is really part of my story and we can only talk about some of our lives. But it's like, one time my brother wanted a balloon poodl-"Cat was cut off by Jade.
"Yeah, yeah, your brother's crazy."Then they started their story.

Jade had just been dumped by Liam, so she took the normal getting- over- your- ex route and moved to New York where she met me! Cat had just moved to New York City to go on Broadway. Wait- How did she know if she was good enough for Broadway? I'm getting there! She had already auditioned and gotten the part in the musical. She was playing Charlotte. I ended up playing Lucy. Lexi kindly let us stay at her house for two years while we went on Broadway. Then our director told us that the play was over but we were all really talented, like, to even get on Broadway, and so he pulled Jade, me, and this guy Graham aside and told us to move to Los Angeles and so we did! Then we got into Hollywood Arts and Jade went out with Beck, the guy who broke her heart just recently and I collected a gang. Then Tori came in and started rubbing Beck for some unknown reason. And the rest is history, as they say.
"Wow." a new voice commented. We all looked up at the speaker.
A/N: Tori isn't a gank, just not really nice or genuine to Jade and Cat and therefore, Kendall sees through her and thinks of her as a jerk for now.
