Chapter 1

It was 6:50 am in the morning and Rapunzel's alarm clock was beeping nonstop.

Rapunzels POV

Ugh ,just five more minutes, I'm just so tired. Really should have stopped reading after saying one more page .But it was sooo good. Either way time to go to my first day of high school.

I didn't want to be a minute late so I took a quick shower , then I slipped on a pink long sleeved flannel ,purple skinny jeans and some yellow flats and headed out the door. But I was stopped immediately.

There in front of me ,my mother stood frowning.

"Rapunzel ,darling, where are you going? Dont you want to be driven to school on your first?"

I cringed. " Mom, that would be humiliating .What if someone sees?! Please let me bike there alone," I said a hopefully convincing puppy dog look.

" sigh…."Oh, alright fine. But remember to be home by 5:00 . You've been behind on your chores," She said as she gave me a kiss goodbye.

"K, Mom, bye " .As I ran out the door I noticed that i was running late and dashed to school on my bike.

First class of the day was Biology, which I found pretty boring. I decided to daydream until suddenly a boy with snow like blond hair, a black t-shirt,ripped jeans,and black converse came into the room unannounced as he went to sit behind me.

Mrs. Stark ,without looking from the board said,

" Ah Jack Frost I presume. Well, Mr. Frost, you are late, hopefully you have a good reason to be?" She waited with a stern look on her face.

He scoffed at her. " Look. I'm sorry that i was late,K. Get off my back".

Sighing she turned around and stared at him."Mr. Frost you will speak accordinglyand respectfully when spoken to in this class understood? Until then you will have detention first thing next week."After that she continued writing on the board.

At that he rolled his eyes then he started taking out his notebook.

Wow. First day and you already have detention. Better steer clear of him.

Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned around I inspected Jaco a lot better. He has a perfectly sculpted chin with icy blue eyes overshadowed by his ruffled hair.

Just then I realised I was that i wasn't paying attention.

"U-um, sorry, what? ,"I stumbled .

Once again he rolled his eyes." Can i borrow a pencil?"

"S-sure,sorry."As i was going through my bag I noticed he was getting super impatient. When i finally found one he didn't even thank me.

How rude.

Next few classes were normal until I had to go to lunch . Some people here have known each other since middle school. I was sort of lonely back then so it's going to be a struggle.

As I sat down at an empty table a girl with red braids came up to me.

" Hello, my name is Anna and that's my sisterElsa along with our friend Merida,"she said pointing to two girls."Mind if we sat with you?," Anna asked.

I looked at the other girls. The one who looked like her sister wore a blue blouse with light blue girl next to her had red like fire hair and wore a green flannel with rolled up sleeves and a denim shorts.

"Sorry i forgot to ask your name," Anna giggled.

" Oh yeah, my name is Rapunzel .Nice to me you all. Say, I've seen Marisa around back in junior high but I've never seen you and your sister before," I inquired.

"Well the thing is our parents wanted us to be homeschooled so we were given pricare tutor",Elsa piped up."But they soon believed we need to socialize with people our own age .So now we're here,"she said with an unamused face.

"Oh,so you were homeschooled,"I guessed." My mom wanted the same for she thinks the worst of every person she sees or has seen i convinced her to give me a so here we are."I ended with a chuckle.

"Ah, sounds like your mother is quite protective of ye," she assumed.

I agree."Yeah,I don't know why .I'm a big girl. I can handle I hit a guy with a frying pan when someone was trying to break into our it was just the pizza man. But I handled it."I grinned.

"Okay…..",Marisa hesitated." Well, I get it . If my mother had her way, she'd tutor me day and night,night and day.

At that Anna laughed."Elsa would enjoy that. She prefers to stay home alot and read her books in her room all day."

"Do not."Elsa blushed.

"Yeah you do,"she said as she nudged Elsa in the shoulders.

At that there was laughter all was more chatter before everyone exchanged phone numbers with each other.

school bell

Before they left, Anna turned back to me.

"Hey Rapunzels, why don't you join us at Merida's house for a movie Friday 'll be fun," she asked.

I thought about it. Mom would be okay,wouldn't she? I mean , she doesn't trust people much. But this is different. I have friends this not?

"Sure, i'll go. Sounds fun."

Anna gave a bright smile."Cool, I''ll text you the address. See ya." At that we parted away.

Now time for Art favorite.

Finally school's done for the day. But it started raining so now I have to bike in the rain. Maybe if I bike fast, I'll get home before it gets worse.

I peddled pretty fast. Maybe too fast. The speed of my bike stopped too late on the curb of the sidewalk , causing me to be thrown at the ground.

"Ow!Man that hurt!", I groaned. I looked to my bike to see the chain . Guess I'm walking.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Someone called out.

As I turned , I saw it was somebody I would've never expected.
