The helpless girl panted as she looked for her pursuer. "I lost him." She said with a small smile on her face as she leaned against a tree. She was close to a road which was a relief but unfortunately there was sounds of sticks cracking causing her to freeze as she realized that it was her attacker. She pushed herself away from the tree and broke into a sprint as she struggled to get away from him. Suddenly a figure appeared in front of her causing her to scream and stumble to the ground. "Running away from your host? How rude." A deep voice said originating from the shadowy figure as he pulled out a doll that look strangely like her. "N-No please no-" A sharp bone suddenly pierced the doll's chest and there was no more noise from her as she fell to the ground with a her pink shirt turning a deep scarlet. "Such a shame..." The figure said nudging the dead girl with his toe before smirking to himself. "She was a pretty human too. Oh well might as well try again..."
Melody Spires walked out of her dorm room yawning as she rubbed her eyes. She wasn't an ugly girl, She had long red hair seemingly dyed blue at the tip and sapphire blue eyes. "Hey girl!" A female voice said as a girl with silver hair ran over. "Hey Gracie." Melody said with a smile. (Humans are supposed to be the only species not counting animals, Than there are demons...) "Did you hear about the new student? I hear he's a hottie!" She said excited. Melody raised a brow. "Aren't you taken by Doggo?" She asked. Gracie scoffed. "Girl can dream. Besides your the only one without a boyfriend." Gracie shot back. Melody felt her face heat up as she looked away. "Gracie none of the guys in this town have my attention." She said. Gracie smirked. "But this guy is from out of town." She said. "I doubt he'll get my attention-" She walked into what seemed to be a brick wall as Gracie gasped. She looked up at the guy she never seen before. He had pale skin and white messy hair. He wore the typical guys uniform for Ebbot Private school but his eyes got Melody's attention. They were black with white lights. "Are you gonna stare or are ya gonna introduce yourself." He asked in a deep voice. Melody took note of all the swooning girls behind him, Hell Gracie was swooning, She pushed away. "Sorry but that isn't your business." She said smacking Gracie on the back of the head. "Come on Gracie we have class to get to." Melody said dragging poor Gracie away. "B-But breakfast-" She started when Melody shushed her. "We're not hungry." She lied.
Later that day Melody had to deal with Gracie's teasing. "So how flustered were you?" She asked very excited. Melody sighed as she returned the book onto the shelf in the library. "I wasn't flustered. I don't like him." She said with a frown. Gracie crossed her arms. "Seriously? Come on Mel the guy is eye candy. What is there not to like?" She asked. "I don't know...there is something weird about him." She said grabbing a new book and sitting down at the table while Gracie was on her phone. "Dude...did you see his eyes?" She asked. "Yeah...that dreamy blue." Gracie said with a sigh. Melody stared dumbfounded. "N-No it wasn't blue it was-" A firm hand appeared on her shoulder. "Are you talking about me ladies?" that fucking deep voice asked. Melody turned to face the pale guy from earlier. She clutched her book as she stood up. The boy looked at her in amusement. "Hello. I'm Gracie and this rude girl is Melody." Gracie said elbowing Melody. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Sans." The boy said while grabbing Melody's hand and bringing it to his lips. Melody pulled her hand away while laughing nervously. Gracie shot Melody a look before looking back at Sans. "So I'm gonna go and leave you two alone now." Gracie said running off. Melody gaped at her friend who ran away leaving Melody alone with the strange boy. "I noticed that you've been avoiding me." Sans said with a smirk. Melody looked up at him as she backed up against the book shelf. She didn't know why but she couldn't trust this guy and so far her instincts were right."Calm down I don't bite...much." Sans said chuckling. Melody looked away not even a little flustered before pushing him aside. "Sorry but I need to go." She said too quickly before running off feeling the boy's strange eyes on her back.
Sans chuckled to himself as the girl named Melody hurried away from him. "So...Melody huh?" He thought. "Maybe she won't be as rude as the last one." He said as he followed after her...
"Linda Matthews." The teacher called out as said slutty blonde raised her hand, "Melody Spires?" She asked. Melody stood up. "Present." She said. "Nathan Wilkes." The gothic kid raised his hand. "Peter Parker." The nerdy kid raised his arms. "Ronnie Welsh." Ginger boy raised his hand. Melody heard someone quickly run and sit down next to her. "Sans Skelton." Melody froze when she heard that same deep voice reply that he was there...as in right next to her. "Try to be a little faster." The teacher said checking him off. "So we meet again." He said with a smirk. Melody looked away cursing her luck for being a bitch and only being bad for her specifically. "Yeah...we do..." Melody muttered through clenched teeth. She didn't like the way he was looking at her with an unreadable expression and when she looked at him, his eyes were completely black giving him a creepy look. She gulped and looked away focusing on what the teacher was teaching before the bell rang and she hurried out. "So why do you hate me?" He asked following her. She didn't answer him basically begging Life to make him leave her alone. Sadly this doesn't happen as he continued to follow her. "Come on I'm likable." He said. Melody frowned before speed walking away from him. Suddenly he was in front of her. "W-WHAT HOW?!" Melody said. Sans chuckled. "My own secret." Melody gulped not trusting Sans even more. "Listen I'm tired and need to go to bed. Please leave me alone." She said walking away from him while he stared after her with a smirk.
It has been a few hours since She went to bed before Sans walked over to her. Her long red hair was spread out among the pillow and her face showed peacefulness. Sans's hand became skeletal as he shed his disguise and stroked her hair. "Soon Melody..." He said. "Soon you'll be mine and mine Alone~"
