Zayden Flame, Son of Hestia.
Chapter 1 - The Arrival
Third Person POV blaze
Percy was walking along the edge of the camp, a subtle smile on his face as he was lost in thought while watching for monsters. Suddenly, a short and chubby boy, looking beat up and bleeding, burst through the trees, and shot forward in Percy's direction. Percy immediately sprinted towards him when, not a second later, several Hellhounds appeared, uncapping Riptide and getting ready to fight. Percy sliced through first Hellhound as it leapt through the air towards the boy. The beast exploded into golden dust, and Percy moved on to the rest of them. He slashed and stabbed, his sword going through the dogs like a hot knife through butter. In a few minutes, the army of monsters was no more.
Then Percy looked back towards the kid that the beasts were after, only to be shoved over, and Riptide taken from him. In surprise, he stumbled and fell backwards, rolling down the hill just as the camp arrived at the scene to investigate the noise that they heard. Chiron cautiously stepped forward, and spoke to the kid. 'Who are you? What happened here?'
Just as Percy had climbed back up Half-Blood Hill, the boy proclaimed, 'I'm Nathan Skye, and I just killed all those big dog things while that guy just threw me his sword and told me to deal with them.' As he said that, a massive burst of lighting appeared in the clear sky, and a lightning bolt appeared over Nathan's head. He looked up, scared, and yelped when he saw the image, and swung at it with Riptide.
Chiron's eyes widened, and he immediately kneeled, all the campers but Percy following suit. 'It is determined. All hail Nathan Skye, son of Zeus, King of the Gods, God of Lightning, Thunder, Justice and Honor, Lord of all Olympus.'
'Wait, what? What do you mean he's my father? And why are you half horse?' Nathan's eyes widened as he said the last part, just realizing, as he gained sight through the Mist with his claiming.
'Nathan, perhaps we should talk.' Chiron walked him off, but not before shooting Percy a disappointed look.
All the campers shot glares towards Percy at how they believed he had treated the new kid. They then looked away and walked off back to their activities, muttering things under their breath. Annabeth walked towards Percy, and slapped him. 'How could you be so cruel to him, Percy? He could have died! I'm really disappointed in you.' She stalked off, not giving the dumbfounded Percy a chance to explain what really happened.

At the campfire, Nathan finally appeared again, having missed dinner, and walked in. The hologram was still evidently above his head, and everyone bowed, though some seemed reluctant to do so, but Percy had remained in his seat, and didn't move. Nathan swaggered towards Percy, and arrogantly bellowed, 'Why aren't you bowing to me, you shrimpy runt?! Didn't you hear that my dad is the King of the Gods?!'
Percy raised an eyebrow, and stood up to his full height of 6 foot 2, looking down on Nathan's relatively measly stature of 5 foot 8. 'I only bow to those I feel deserve it, and brats who think the world owes them something just because of their father is not on that list.'
Angrily, Nathan attempted to shove Percy, Percy didn't move, and Nathan instead shoved himself backwards into the campfire, and his pants burst into flames. Yelping loudly, Nathan ran around the campfire, attempting to put out the flames, until a blast of the water spurted out of nowhere and doused the flames, soaking Nathan in the process and pushing him into a camper. Everyone turned to Percy, and he said with a smirk, 'Oops.'
All the campers burst into loud and voracious laughter at Nathan. Fuming, Nathan attempted to send a lightning bolt at Percy, but due to have Thalia try the same trick against him all the time, Percy barely flinched, which made Nathan even angrier, and he stormed off to his cabin, his hair an electric inferno, standing up straight.

In the weeks that followed Nathan's arrival in the camp, Percy started losing all his friends, each one shying away form him, angry for something he did not do, but was instead planted into their heads by Nathan. Percy, though hurt, was not too upset, as he still had his closest friends and Annabeth, and was not bothered by his loss of fame in the camp, as he had never wanted it in the first place.
But soon, even the survivors of the Titan and Giant war, his closest friends eventually fell for Nathan's lies, and cut off their ties with him. But Percy still was not broken, as he still had Nico, Thalia, Reyna, and the survivors of the seven apart from Leo, who had heard from Nathan that he had abandoned Calypso on purpose and left her in Ogygia to rot with a broken heart. Annabeth was the one person who was holding together at that point, but even she was beginning to distance herself from him.
But the final thing that would break the Hero of Olympus would arrive soon…
