Chapter 1

It was a sound retreat for Metal Knight, shortly after he spoke with Sitch and the made up 'kidnapping' of Metal Bat, he brought his scouter drone back to the base to go over the data.

He knows what he saw was real.

Garou was back, but, he was different, far too different. "What gave him such power? He blended into the darkness effortlessly. As well, his hair appeared to be aflame…" Metal Knight muttered to himself.

He approached the scouter drone. Yet pause. Something strange was seen on it. "What is this…" Taking a closer look, he found strange symbols on the robot, They were on the arms, legs, torso, head, front and back. But he never put such markings there. "These are old ruins, I know these…"

"Good, so you do know what this means!"

He jumped to the voice. He turned and saw this strange young man looking at him with a big grin on his lips. If anything, this man looked like a character named Diablo from a manga he read about a slime at one point.

The man continued to grin as he came closer. "How did you get in my lab!"

"Oh that's nothing, I wouldn't too concerned about that for the time being…" the strange young man said. "If anything, I just wanted to make certain that your little toy was in working order. After all, you will be getting very well acquainted with it."

"What are you talking about?" All the while, Bofoi slipped his hands into his pocket to activate the security system.

Yet the moment he hit the button, nothing happened. The computers didn't register a threat, let alone detect the man before him.

He paused to the discovery.

"You… You are not an Other are you?!" he demanded.

The man smiled. "You certainly hoped I was… but I am not." He said gently. "I am beyond that," The man continued to walk closer to Bofoi, and the smile only grew on his lips. "You… hurt someone very close to me recently. Bad…" he said.

"Metal Bat? What of him?"

The man appeared a little flustered. "This is a little awkward for me to admit, but… he's is very much like a son to me… and I need him healthy, since I want him to have more children. And yet, you… you felt you had the right to HARM him in order to take HIS power?"

"How did you know of that?"

The man smile quickly vanished. "Because, it nearly killed him." He said with a deadpan look on his face. "Had it not been for his connection to me… you would have KILLED him." The man said defiantly. "I will not stand for that any longer. Garou was fortunate to get to him in time, and consider yourself lucky and be grateful that he went before me. Had I been there… no one in that room would have left alive but Bad."

A sudden chill went down his spine.

Metal Knight could tell by this man's tone that he meant every word of it. "But now that Bad is recovering, Garou has returned to his side, all shall be well. After your punishment of course!" he said, as the malice he was oozing earlier was quick to vanish in an instant!

"Punishment? For what?"

The man became stern. "For killing innocent lives, Others, you have deemed as monsters in your mind are not monsters the least bit! You are going to make some changes to yourself, and until you do. Your punishment will be this…" The man said as he turned to the scouter droid.

"My scouter, what of it?"

"Well, this is beyond my meddling to say the least," the strange man said. "I'll let you take it from here," as he stepped back, Metal Knight paused as he saw him come from the shadows.

He has heard countless reports of this thing, a powerful mage with a glowing green skull.

His hand extended, it began to glow green as Bofoi found the markings on his robot… appeared on him! Before he could utter a question, a powerful pulse struck him. Bofoi collided with the scouter droid when things began to change. He watched on in horror as his arm began to get pulled into the metal. "WHAT! NO! STOP!" he protested.

Despite his resistance, Bofoi's body slowly sank into the machine, his flesh melded to the steel as he was suddenly pulled in!

It became still and silent for a moment, until the robot booted up. It took a moment for everything to function, yet Metal Knight was now living up to his name!
