He stared at his reflection in the mirror, checking to make sure he had picked the right suit for tonight. It certainly looked appropriate. A blue dress shirt underneath a black jacket. The jacket was decorated in white oleanders that were splattered in red. The rest was a pair of black slacks, dress boots, his auburn curls brushed neatly, revealing his baby blues. He did look good enough for tonight, knowing that the other guests would be quite please with his appearance. Most residents in his town thought he crazy, because of the way he acted, did things, talked. He stood out amongst them because he was just himself. A part of him felt upset that he was treated as such, but should it really matter to him? He had most of the good things he needed in life, and what others said behind his back was meaningless. So no, it didn't matter. As long as he had a home and was treated right by the man he married he was happy.
He was startled out of his thoughts when he felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind. "You're looking so amazing right now, Dean. I am tempted to take you right now."
Dean let out a gasp, feeling his husbands lips upon his neck. He leaned back into his touch, noticing his arousal. "S-Seth…not now. We have to leave soon."
"I know, baby. Which is why I'm going to give it to you good, once we find a private room at the ball tonight." Seth turned Dean around, so that he could give him a deep and passionate kiss. Dean moaned into the kiss, feeling a hand settle on his ass, squeezing it. He whined a little when Seth pulled away, missing his touch.
He sat upon their bed, admiring how his husband looked. Dressed the same that he was, but looked more perfect than him. And the suit he wore had a snake on it, which Dean couldn't help but to let out a dark chuckle at this. The snakes body trailing down Seth's pants and the head of it on his jacket. Its mouth open, revealing its sharp fangs.
He watched as Seth stood near the dresser, putting his hair into a tight bun. "What time do we leave?" Dean asked him.
"Soon. We must be there at seven, though they won't mind if we're a little late."
"Alright. So, whose all going to be there? Besides the people you work with."
"All of the others in our town who are upper class of course. People like Drew Mintyre, Baron Corbin, Mark Calaway, Alesister Black…Oh how I hate him. Your friend Becky will also be there, I'm sure you'll be pleased to see her."
Dean perked up at this. That was a relief. At least someone who was good to him would be there. "Oh, yes. It'll be wonderful to see her there. Its been a while since all I do now is stay cooped up in here."
Seth ignored what Dean had said, continuing on with what he was saying. "There's also a new family we'll be meeting, they just moved into town. They're Samoan. It'll be interesting to learn about them."
"Well that should be great then. Maybe we can friends with them?"
"Maybe. But I don't know yet. Heard they're only here to do business, make money. Not make friends. They're trying to make themselves more well known. They had a cousin who died a few years back. Said he died from the plague."
Seth turned around, going to the bed, sitting down with Dean. He yanked him closer to him, so that Dean could feel his breath ghosting across his neck. Dean shuddered against him, not knowing if he would do anything.
"You've dressed yourself beautifully, Dean. Made yourself perfect for tonight."
"T-thank you, Seth."
"But there's still one thing missing."
Dean looked at him, nervous. He knew what Seth was talking about. Didn't need to look down at his hands, to see what he held. "Seth…please. Not tonight. Just please, don't."
"You know that I have to do this, Dean." Seth said, bringing his hands up to neck, fastening a black studded collar on him. He made sure it was tight and snug on him, made sure that he would always know it was there. "This. It symbolizes your faithfulness to me. That you're under my control. That you're mine. If you go out without this, it means you're straying away from. That you've forgotten who you belong to."
"No!" Dean replied back quickly. "I haven't forgotten, Seth! I-I'll be good…be good for you."
"Yes, because I'm the one who saw you for who you are. I'm the one who takes care of you. You remember Dean, that I stopped them from locking you away. Up in that asylum. Without me, you would be nothing."
"Yes, Seth." Dean whispered, closing his eyes. "I am yours. I belong to you. Always and forever."
