Hi! So, I mainly write Ninjago fanfics, but I seriously love The Flash, specifically Cisco Ramon! I think the world needs more Cisco-centered stories, so here is mine! I hope you enjoy it!

Some technical stuff: This is after season 6. I imagine that they get Iris and Kamilla out of the Mirrorverse, and that they beat Eva. Barry is still losing his speed, at this point he is all out.

It was an amazing night. The sky was clear, the moon clearly shown, a soft breeze blowing through their hair. There could not be a better time to do this.

Cisco pulled out the chair for Kamilla, seating her down at one of the fanciest restaurants in Central City. He sat across from her, feeling his pocket once again. Once he felt the small box, he inwardly sighed in relief. He could not lose it. That box not only contained an engagement ring, but essentially his future.

As the two talked through the multi-course meal, Cisco could not help but marvel at the woman in front of him. Beautiful, determined, creative, talented, smart, kind, funny…. So many things he loved about her. He couldn't help, at this point in their relationship, to see them grow old together, to have children together. The thought made him smile.

"Cisco? Cherry or strawberry cheesecake?" Kamilla asked, pulling Cisco out of his mind. He smiled.

"Whatever you want, Kamilla. You usually pick the best." She rolled her eyes, but soon told the waiter that they wanted two cherry cheesecakes. Once the two had finished eating, devouring the sweet goodness within minutes, Cisco knew what to do next.

"Kamilla, do you want to go to the waterfront? A nice walk would be nice." Her eyes widened suddenly, and she shook her head, disappointing Cisco a tiny bit.

"Sorry, but, I was wondering if you wanted to stay here for a bit? I want to talk to you." Cisco shrugged.

"Sure."

Kamilla sighed, and looked to her lap, tears forming in her eyes. Oh, no. That was not a good sign. Had he done something wrong?

"Hey, Kamilla? What's wrong?" Cisco said, very concerned, and reached for her hand, but she pulled away. "What? I can help."

She shook her head once more. " No, Cisco, it's okay. IーI have to get through this myself." She took a deep breath, looking towards her boyfriend, but not directly in his eyes.

"Cisco, you're an amazing person. I thought so when we first met, and I still think that now. But, I….I've been seeing someone else."

Cisco inhaled sharply. She had been seeing something else? How….how had he not noticed this? Cisco struggled to keep the tears in as he responded.

"For how long?" His voice was soft, not angry like Kamilla had expected. That made her a bit more confident, and she continued.

"For a year. His name is Mark, he's really nice. I met him at one of my photography jobs, we went out for coffee, and it sort of just happened. I told him about you, but all he said about it was that I had to choose eventually."

"A year? We've only been together for two years! Are you saying that you've been cheating on me for half of the time we've been together?" Cisco responded, his voice getting louder, tears now falling from his eyes. Kamilla knew that this would happen, but she could not back out now. No matter how much it hurt him.

"Yes, Cisco. I'm sorry, but….I love him. More than I love you. We have to break up. I'm so sorry." With that said, she got out of her chair, covered her face with her hands, and left.

Cisco sat there, stunned. He didn't register what happened until the waiter came around with the check. Cisco paid, but the only thing echoing through his mind was what Kamilla had said: We have to break up. We have to break up. We have to break up.

Cisco aimlessly walked around Central City, not knowing where to go. His apartment, he'll only think of Kamilla. Barry's apartment, the dude was married and probably didn't want to be bothered. The park, the place he was going to propose. His hand flew to his pocket at the reminder, where the ring box was still stored, waiting to be pulled out. Cisco took it out, but, insead of getting down to one knee in front of the love of his life, he threw it into the nearest trash can, not even thinking twice. That's where his relationship with Kamilla was, why can't the engagement ring join it?

After a while he decided that instead of spending the night on the street, he would sleep at STAR Labs, in one of the spare rooms they had there. And, if Barry, or Caitlin, or Iris, asked questions, he would tell them that their pipes burst or something, and that Kamilla was staying over at a friend's house.

It was a subconscious decision made by Cisco that he would keep the break-up a secret. No one knew about the proposal, so no one would know that anything went wrong. No one would feel bad for him. That's what he hates most, along with looking and feeling weak. This situation made him be worried about all of these things.

Once inside of STAR Labs, Cisco took a spare pillow and a couple of blankets to the lounge, where, after attempting sleep, found that it would be impossible. So, he decided to work on Barry's new suit. He always had a spare around, because Barry always got his suits destroyed, but it calmed the engineer to work on something familiar. Something he could control.

He tried to ignore the drooping of his eyelids, but soon he gave in, falling asleep in his work chair.

That was the only time he felt at peace for a long time coming.

"Cisco! Cisco! Wake up!" He heard, and opened his eyes slightly. He felt a sturdy hand on his shoulder, one that had to belong to either Barry or Joe. He raised his head to see the residential speedster of Central City, Barry Allen.

"Come on, it's already ten! We need you to wake up, have some coffee, and help us out." Barry said as he handed Cisco a cup of CC Jitters' Zoom, Cisco's favourite. It was his favourite drink ever since he tried it. It was also the warm drink he had on his first date with Kamilla…

Suddenly, all of the events of the previous night came back, hitting Cisco hard. He wanted to push any reminder of Kamilla away, and, without knowing, he had dropped the coffee in his hand, startling Barry.

"Sorry, Barry. I….I just have a headache. I guess I haven't woken up enough, either…" Cisco managed to get out, his mouth suddenly dry. He stood up, and began cleaning the mess up with some Big Belly Burger napkins that just happened to be lying around. Barry joined him.

Once it was cleaned up, Barry smiled, but it did not really reach his eyes. "It's okay, man. Rough night?"

Cisco blinked. Should he tell Barry what happened? Surely he could tell his best friend...No. No, he couldn't. He didn't want, or need, their pity.

"Yea, the pipes were leaking in my apartment, so Kamilla is staying with a friend and I decided to stay here. Well, and do a bit of work." Barry laughed.

"I see. I like the suit, by the way!" Barry responded. Cisco turned around to see the new suit on the workbench behind him. Right. He was working on that last night.

"Cortex? Coming?" Barry said, snapping the engineer out of his thoughts. Cisco nodded, getting up and following Barry upstairs.

When they arrived in the Cortex, Caitlin, Iris, Joe, and Nash were doing their own individual things, Caitlin messing on the computer, Iris and Joe on their phones, and Nash was messing with a who knows what kind of machine. Cisco looked at Barry, a questioning look in his eyes.

" I asked everyone to come here, if you're wondering." He responded. Cisco nodded, and sat down in a chair beside Caitlin. She gave him a quick smile before focusing on the speedster that had positioned himself in the middle of the room, running his hands through his hair.

"Okay, ever since we got Iris and Kamilla out of the Mirrorverse and defeated Eva, we have not faced any big villains. So, my question is how the artificial Speedforce is going? Is it close to being done?"

Uh, oh. Cisco knew that the question was directed at him. He gulped before looking Barry in the eyes. " We still have no clue what we're doing. This is complicated stuff, I feel like Harrison Wells wouldn't even know how to do it. I'm sorry, Barry, but we've got nothing."

"Nothing? How long have you worked on this? Months?"

"Barry, it's really hardー"

"I don't care! I need this, Cisco! Just because your life is going great doesn't mean that mine is! Not having my speed is more difficult than you know. If you actually care about me or Central City you'll do this one thing!" Barry was clearly angry, and Cisco could feel the tears pricking in his own eyes. But, Barry, he wanted to tell his best friend, but knew he couldn't, I know how it feels to be powerless. My life is a mess right now. I'm trying my best. You know what I need? I need you to stop making my life more miserable than it is already.

Cisco managed to contain those thoughts and nod, trying to hide the shaking in his legs. " I'll get right to it." With that, he hurriedly walked out of the room, and rushed into his lab. His face was wet with salty tears, and he sat against the wall, sobbing.

He isn't good enough for Kamilla. He isn't good enough for Barry. He isn't good enough for his family. He isn't good enough for Central City. Even as Vibe, he always made mistakes. If Cisco Ramon isn't good enough, if Vibe wasn't good enough, which part of him is good enough?

This is a multi-chapter fanfic. I plan on updating within one to three weeks, I have two stories already on the go. If this story gets a lot of love, though, updates will likely be faster. Thanks for reading!

Stay tuned and review!
