ZaePOV-

Hey there! My name is Zaedah. I have Green eyes, stand at 5'2", and I have the standard green hair that all zombies have. I have hazel eyes that look green when in direct sunlight, and my hair goes to just above the small of my back. However, there is a small portion of hair on the right side of my head that is naturally alabaster. The white is on the lower part of my scalp below the green, so no one sees it or knows it's there unless I pull my hair up. I have asked my dad about it many times, but he just brushes it off. He tells me that we just need to fit in and get rid of anything that could cause us to stand out. No one knows about my hair except for family and close friends. Who is my family you may ask? Well, none other than the Nercodopolous'. In other words, I am Zed's twin sister.

I know, I know. It is unheard of for Zombies to have twins. There have never been any twins born to a Zombie couple ever. That is part of the reason why they almost didn't allow us, meaning zombie kids, to go to Seabrook High. They were afraid of what would happen if we integrated, even marginally, into their perfect little world. They are afraid of the children of the Zombies who made the history books.

That is something that, Zed and my friend, Eliza and I agree on. We believe that humans like sitting pretty on their high and mighty horses when it was their fault for creating us.

You see years ago a HUMAN spilled some Lime soda on a control panel at Seabrook power. That Lime soda mixed with some mysterious power source caused an explosion, and the ending result is the creation of Zombies.

That happened in the power company that now lays in rubble in downtown "Zombieland." That's what we teens started calling it. Anyway, I better get to sleep, it's late, and I was told that it was important for my condition to have a regular sleep schedule. You see the reason that you didn't see me when Zed and the gang started at Seabrook high… is that I was…indisposed. But enough about the past, like I, said it's time to sleep. I walked to the broken mirror in the bathroom and began my normal nightly routine.

When I was finished, I changed into my dark blue tank top, and green PJ pants. I climbed into my bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I was startled awake by the feel of the wind on the back of my neck. I sat up and looked around. All I could see was trees and dirt. I ran my fingers through my hair, whispering to myself,

"Where am I? Is this a part of Seabrook?"

"Technically yes, this is a part of Seabrook." A voice said from behind me. I whipped my head around. Standing just behind me was a boy around my age, with fur lining the vest he was wearing. He had dark brown almost black hair, with the front swooshed back, and the front part was a bright white, like mine. I couldn't help but stare, both because he had white hair like me and because this mysterious boy was handsome. He looked me up and down, his hair landing on the white part of my hair, and then continued,

"You're in the forbidden forest." I started, knowing that the forbidden forest is said to be the home of werewolves. The werewolves from the legends of the Seabrook settler times.

"Who are you?" I asked the boy, feeling in my gut that he would be important to something in the future. I crossed my arms over my chest, and I noticed briefly that he glanced down at my arms.

"Wyatt, and you are?" He replied smoothly. His eyes boring into mine with a slight smirk playing on his lips, the corner twitching up.

"Zaedah," I said, again, looking around. From the position of the sun in the sky I could tell it was about midday, though because of how thick the canopy was, I couldn't get an accurate time.

"How did I get here?" I asked myself.

"You've been walking around for hours. I followed you to make sure you did not get hurt. Your eyes were glazed over so I didn't know what was happening, but I know this area is not safe if you don't watch where you're going." I sighed.

"Thank you for watching out for me. The last thing I remember is falling asleep in my bed. Was I saying anything?" He looked at me for a moment.

"Happens to you often?" I nodded, unsure of why I was telling him this.

"More than I'd like. My family says that I ramble when it happens, though we've never found out why it happens, or what my ramblings mean."

"You kept saying, about how someone was coming." I tried to talk to you, but you just kept walking around me. "You kept saying that they were calling to you."

"That's new." Just then the wind picked up, and I shivered.

"Here," He said, holding out his hand. "come with me." I don't know why but something told me to trust him, so after just a second's hesitation I placed my hand in his and we began to walk. While we were walking, I looked around, my photographic memory remembering everything in perfect detail. We stopped outside a cave, and he turned to me.

"Wait here." I nodded and sat on the rock right behind me. Letting go of his hand, he turned and walked into the cave. It was only a minute or two later that I was startled off the rock by a loud growl right next to my ear. I jumped away and turned to find three girls with outfits like Wyatt's staring at me with their hands shaped like claws, and their eyes glowing blue.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" The girl in the middle with the wavy hair and a streak of white down the left side of her face.

"I got lost in the woods, and Wyatt brought me here. He told me to stay put, that's it."

"Why were you in the forest in the first place?"

"I don't know," I told her the same thing I told Wyatt. "The last thing I remember is going to sleep in my bed in Seabrook." They looked like they thought on that for a moment but did not make a move to drop their hands. I stayed where I was, something in my head telling me not to make any sudden movements.

Just then I saw from my peripheral vision that Wyatt walked out of the cave.

"Willa! Stop, it's fine. I will take her back to Seabrook soon." I guess 'Willa' wasn't happy with that because a growl ripped from her throat, and her eyes burst into a brighter blue. Wyatt responded with a growl of his own, his eyes bursting blue as well, like two cerulean gems that hooked me and pulled me in.

"Then why did you bring her here?" Willa snarled, taking a step forward, to which Wyatt took a defensive stance in front of me.

"Look at her hair. What if she is who we've been looking for?" Willa scoffed.

"She's human. She is not who we're looking for. Her hair means nothing."

"I don't mean to cause problems, but I have a few notes. One, I'm not human, and Two, what about my hair?" I pointed out, even knowing that what I was about to say wouldn't help the situation.

"See even worse. You led a flesh-eating monster to our home." I reeled back as if she slapped me.

"There is no reason for the insults. I don't eat flesh. If I'm correct then, being that this is the forbidden forest, I would say that you are werewolves. How would you like it if I said that because you are a werewolf, you are a murderer who enjoys going around killing innocent people who cross your path?" Willa's answering growl ripped from her throat so loud it caused the birds in the canopy above to scatter with squawks of protest.

Wyatt held out his hand and continued to speak to the girl in front of us. Her friends never left her side, though I saw one of the girls' eyes dim, almost imperceptibly.

"The elders want to meet her. They want to see her hair for themselves," Wyatt said.

"The elders are sick. That's why I'm the Alpha."

"Still, they want to see her," Wyatt said, finally turning away from the girls and placing a blanket around my shoulders.

"Thank you, but what is this about my hair?" I asked as he held his hand out for me again, linking our fingers together as I placed my hand back in his. He then began leading me into the cave. I heard the three growling at us as we entered. As we walked, I saw people leaning against the walls, and every now and then one would let out a cough.

"Look around, what do you notice about all of our hair?" He asked, I did as he requested, and after a moment I said,

"You all have white in your hair." He turned to me, with his smirk in place, and said,

"So, do you."
