Avatar: Fire and Water

Zuko's father, Firelord Ozai, believes that Katara is the chosen one. The one who will protect the world. He also believes that she has a special power no one understands, not even Katara. In the middle of it all, Zuko and Katara grow feelings for each other. They have to keep it a secret for with their combined power, they are able to stop Ozai's terrible plan of ruling the world.

1. Opposites

Chapter 1: Opposites

Katara is heading back towards the camp she, Toph, Aang, and Sokka made. Momo flew over and sat on her shoulder. "Momo. Nice to see you. What are you doing this far from camp?" asked Katara curiously. Momo made a few chattering noises. Katara looked confused. "Momo, I don't speak your language. All I can tell is it's about the Fire Nation, Zuko, and Camp. Wait…Oh no…" she ran towards camp. When she arrives, she sees Aang and Toph looking ready to fight Zuko. Her brother, Sokka, is being a coward as always and is hiding behind Appa. Momo flies to Sokka and sits on his shoulder. Zuko sees Momo fly over to Sokka, looks at the spot he flew from, and sees Katara. "Well. Nice of you to join us, Waterbender," he says. "Get away from my friends," replied Katara, with fierceness in her voice. "Ok," responds Zuko as he walks over to her. Katara backs up slowly. Zuko smirks. "I'll leave your friends alone if you come with me," he says. Katara glares at him. "No." Zuko returns the glare and shoots a flame behind him. Toph and Aang yell and duck out of the way. Katara gets a waterball and creates a waterfall. She sends it down on Zuko who gets soaked. Sokka laughs. "That's the funniest thing I've ever seen!" exclaimed Sokka. Zuko glares at Katara and grabs her wrist. "Whether you like it or not you're coming with."Chapter 1: Opposites

A few hours later…

"What do you want with me?" asked Katara. "Nothing." Zuko walks away leaving Katara in a beautiful room. "Well, Zuzu? Is she the one? She better be or that would have been pointless," says Azula, walking up. "I don't know yet. I haven't tested her," replies Zuko, a little annoyed. Azula puts a hand on his shoulder. "If she isn't the one, if this is all for nothing, father won't be pleased. Also, when you walked in earlier, why were you soaking wet?" Zuko removes her hand from his shoulder. "She sent a wave crashing down on me," he says, more annoyed. Azula laughed. Zuko glared at her. "It isn't funny, Azula."
