Chapter 1
Blossom Russo was waiting for her best friend Six LeMeure to arrive. They were going to travel around Australia and if Six didn't hurry up, they were going to miss their flight.
"Come on, Six." Blossom said, checking her watch. "Where are you?"
Five minutes later, Six arrived at the house.
"Sorry I'm late, Blossom." Six said in her usual fast voice. "But I had TOO MUCH to pack!"
"Six, we're going to be in Australia for a few months. I don't think you should be packing your whole bedroom." Blossom told her.
"I just packed all my clothes and necessities." Six replied.
"Good. Now we can finally get going."
Blossom and Six put their suitcases in the boot of the taxi before they got in the back.
"See you soon, California!" both of them called out through the open window.
As the taxi drove away, Blossom and Six could hardly contain their excitement.
"We're going to Australia!" Blossom and Six said in unison before screaming!
"Girls, I'm trying to drive here." the cab driver said. "Last thing I need is a loss of hearing."
"Sorry, sir." Blossom responded.
Blossom and Six didn't say another word the rest of the trip.
Once they were at the LAX Airport, Blossom and Six sat in the departure lounge waiting for their flight to Sydney.
"So, where are we going first in Australia?" Six asked Blossom.
"We're stopping off in Sydney first." Blossom replied. "Then from there, we'll be touring the whole of Australia."
"How are we gonna get to that small island?"
Blossom gave Six a puzzled look, "Do you mean Tasmania?"
"Is that its name? Very cool!"
"Attention, everyone." a female voice was heard over the PA system. "Delta Airlines Flight 40 to Sydney, Australia is due to depart in 10 minutes. Those boarding the flight, please make your way to Gate 7."
"This is it, Blossom!" Six said.
Blossom and Six then screamed in excitement!
"We're off to Australia!" both of them start chanting
Soon, Blossom and Six made their way towards Gate 7. In just a few minutes, they would be taking the long trip to Australia.
Later, Blossom and Six were trying to entertain themselves on the plane. They soon noticed a cute guy sitting next to them.
"Blossom?" Six whispered.
Blossom didn't respond as she was watching TV with a headset.
"Blossom!" Six said louder before lightly tapping Blossom's arm.
Blossom took her headset off before saying, "Six, what is it? I'm trying to watch this really cool show."
Six pointed at the guy sitting next to them.
"Oh, he's cute." Blossom said. "If only Vinnie and I were still a couple..."
"Whoa!" Six said. "Oh, great. Now I sound like Joey!"
The guy turned over to face them.
"Oh my god, Blossom! He's looking at us!" Six said, her face slightly blushing.
"Hey, ladies." the guy said in a thick Australian accent.
"Hi!" Blossom and Six said in unison.
"Would you both like a mint?" he asked them.
"Sure." Blossom replied.
The guy gave Blossom and Six a mint.
"So, where are you ladies off to?"
"Well, we're stopping off in Sydney as part of our trip around Australia." Blossom replied before asking the guy. "How about yourself?"
"I'm staying in Sydney for the night before I take a flight back home to Adelaide." he replied.
"Where is that?" Six asked him.
"Adelaide is the capital of South Australia - it's where I live."
"I get it now." Six said.
"So, what's your name?" Blossom asked.
"I'm Jai. Jai Evans."
"Well, I'm Blossom Russo and this is my best friend, Six LeMeure."
"Six?" Jai looked bewildered. "Who calls their daughter that?"
"I get that a lot." Six said, laughing. "So, anyway, what were you doing in California, Jai? I'm sure Disneyland was the best!"
"Actually, I was there with my sister, but I loved L.A. so much that I extended my stay there another week." Jai replied.
"How cool!" Blossom and Six said in unison.
Jai smiled at them. This long flight wasn't going to be so boring after all.
