Summary
After being orphaned in one night, Storm and his sister, Fern, are rescued and adopted into Forestclan. They try to make the best of their situation and devote themselves to working for the clan, but Forestclan are locked in a brutal, generations-old war with Smokeclan. Storm must fight battles against Smokeclan and battles inside his head as he tries to avenge his parents, but also seeks a path to peace between the clans; all whilst remaining loyal to the clan that saved him and the ones he loves. Descriptive violence and occasional swearing. (OCs needed).
Edit: Cuz i'm an idiot, i forgot that there were a few things i needed to explain about the structure/background of the clans.
You probably notice that there is no "deputy" role and instead there are "captains". This is due to the clans being at war. Each captain is in charge of their own "unit" of cats who they will always fight alongside. The clan leadership is either succeeded by the highest-ranking captain or highest-ranking medicine cat, depending on what the previous leader feels is most appropriate at the time (and since they're at war, this will usually be the highest-ranking captain).
Also, in the same way that the clan is large, so is the territory. Because of this, not all the cats from the clan are at the main camp at any one time. One or two units at a time are instead stationed at a "forward base" of sorts, to better guard the territory from attack. The two clans' territories are split by mountains to the north, a city in the south and a lake and river in the middle. There is a dam at the lake which provides a way across, as well as bridges in the city. The "forward base" is situated to better protect this area from invasion. More stuff will probably be explained in the story itself. (End of Edit)
