"Jessie where are you?" Miyamoto called her daughter. "Please come out the photographer is here to take your photo."

"I don't want him to take my photo because I don't want you to leave!" Jessie sobbed as she came out of her hiding place under her bed. "Something bad is gonna happen I just know it!"

"Don't worry sweetie nothing bad is going to happen I'm just going on a mission for Madame Boss to get a mew for her she says she'll pay me lots of mony for getting it for her enough for us to have a better life." Miyamoto told Jessie as she took a brush and fixed the little girl's wine red hair.

"But I want you here with me I don't want you to leave!" Jessie continued to cry.

"Don't worry Jessie I promise I'll come back and we'll be better off when I do I just want nothing but the best for you that's why I have to take this job." Miyamoto explained.

"And I want a photo of you to keep with me as a good luck charm to remind me why I'm doing this. And so I'll have you with me in a way." "Here I want you to have these." She added handing Jessie a pair of green earrings. "Now you'll always have me with you too."

"Thanks Mommy but I'd rather have you here." Jessie said whipping away some of her tears as she tried to put on a brave face but couldn't get them to stop falling.

"I love you." Miyamoto said as she hugged her little girl. "And I promise everything will work out."

Then even though she was still crying Jessie let them take her picture. And her mother kissed her on the forehead before saying goodbye and leaving on her mission.

Jessie didn't understand what her mother's job was or why she always wore black outfit with the red R on it when she went to work or why she would be gone for weeks or sometimes months on end.

And she didn't know what was so different about this time but she had a bad feeling about this mission like something horrible was going to happen but she didn't know what.

Miyamoto was a single mother who was determined to take care of her little girl even if it meant working for the criminal organization Team Rocket she loved her daughter and wanted to make sure she had everything she needed.

A few days later some men who also wore red R's on their shirts should up on the doorstep. Jessie had been told to hide and not answer the door if anyone should up.

After Miyamoto had had some trouble with social working saying the place wasn't up to code to be raising a child in. And Miyamoto had taken her daughter out of their first house after she learned they were coming to take her.

And she had told Jessie to not answer the door and hide if anyone came. So that was what the little girl did. That was also why she had been so desperate for mony to get things up to code so Jessie could be better taken care of and she wouldn't lose her.

Jessie hid in her favorite hiding spot under the bed waiting for whoever it was to leave. But the knocking continued.

When suddenly she heard a crash followed by footsteps and voices.

"I don't think there's anyone here." Said one of them.

"No I was told there was a child." The other replied.

"I know how to handle this." The first one spoke again. "Go Luxray!" He added tossing a pokeball. "If anyone is her my Luxray will find them they can see through anything."

After Luxray came back the it's trainer confident no one was there said. "See." But his expression changed when Luxray used it's paw to point under the bed.

And the other TR member smirked and rolled his eyes as if to say told you.

Meanwhile Jessie was scared out of her mind she didn't count on a pokemon being able to find her.

"It's ok little one we're friends of your Mom Miyamoto." The TR member who had known she was there he had gold hair with red streaks through it. "My name is Sundance and this is my Brother Billy." He added introducing Luxray's trainer who had silver hair and both wore white Team Rocket uniforms.

"Where's Mommy?" Jessie asked knowing they probably did know her Mom since they both wore the same red R she did.

Both men exchange a sad glance at each other knowing they would have to tell the kid that she was now an orphan.

"What your name?" Asked Sundance trying to change the subject if he could.

"It's Jessie now what about my Mom?" She asked again feeling worried knowing from the way the two had looked at each other that it was bad news.

"Jessie there was an accident you see your mother was looking for Mew in the Andy's and there was an avalanche and the thing is she's not coming back she didn't make it." Billy explained his voice cracking because Miyamoto had been a friend to him and his brother they had even started to consider her their sister.

"No she said she would came back she promised!" "She promised!" Jessie sobbed. "And I know something bad would happen I don't know how but I could feel it and she didn't listen!"

Jessie was feeling a mixture of sadness and anger at just how painful and unfair it all was. Billy held her and she continued to punch at him until she stopped and just started sobbing in his arms.

Then Luxray went over to them and Jessie suddenly flinched having not been around a pokemon that big before the only one she had really been around at that point in time was her mom's Seel because she was only five.

"It's OK he won't hurt you." Billy told her.

Jessie went over and hesitantly put out her hand and Luxray licked it and then went over and let her pet it and acted more like an oversized house cat then an electric pokemon that could zap someone senseless.

"Jessie you can came with us and join Team Rocket when your old enough your Mom was one of our best and you can follow in her footsteps if you'd like?" Sundance told her.

"I would." She replied. "I'll make Mommy proud."

(20 years later.)

Jessie, James and Meowth had came back to Team Rocket headquarters because Giovanni had a mission for them so they put their plans to try to steal Pikachu on hold for the time being.

But when they got there Giovanni was out for some reason and his secretary told them he'd be back later and that they have to wait for him to get back and she didn't know how long that would be.

"Well this bites." Said Meowth who was already feeling board just thinking of how long they might have to wait.

"Well she said she'll page us when he gets back and to just hang around HQ in the meantime." James told him.

"So what do we do tell then." Asked Jessie.

Just then a Luxray and Nintails ran over and both tackled Jessie to the ground acting happy to see her.

"Well it nice to see you guys two." She said petting them both. While James and Meowth were both confused.

Then two guys ran over and greeted Jessie like old friends. (Nintails was Sundance's pokemon.)

And Jessie introduced James and Meowth to Billy and Sundance who she considered like Uncles.

They had taken her in when her Mom died and even let her go off and do her own thing for awhile when she didn't think she could make the cut as a Team Rocket member. The two had always been supportive of her partly because she reminded them so much of her mother.

"Long time no see." Said Sundance.

"So what brings you guys back to base?" Asked Billy the two had made friends with James and Meowth right away. Sundance had even teased Jessie and James about being a girlfriend and boyfriend which both had said they weren't at the same time and blushed much to Meowth's amusement.

Then they told Billy and Sundance about being there for a mission.

"I bet it's something to do with the drama that been going on." Said Billy.

"What drama?" Asked the TRio.

"We'll fill you guys in but I'll warn you it's a pretty big mess." Sundance told them and the three set back as they started to explain.
