Welcome everyone! Brandon James here with a crossover of Dragonball Z and My Hero Academia! Now I need to give some context before we start. This is set in a time where the first Quirk was discovered generations before the events of Dragonball Z started. Now, because of how our cast is, besides minor (yet useless) interference from some strong Pro Heroes during the siege of the Saiyans and the Cell Games, not much has changed. However, Hercule will be buffed, having needed to train harder than before in order to become the World Champion. Still nothing compared to Goku, but on a scale of power, he's just under All Might. Why? Because I think it's not fair that Hercule gets to be shown up by everyone, and I want him to not look like trash. Also, with the start of the Hero Academy, ChiChi aims for Gohan to be the very best, hoping for him to start high school at no better place. And finally, Gohan will take the place of Mashirao Ojiro, the Martial Arts Hero: Tailman. Besides that, I think we're ready to start.

With the mark of 250,000 views on this work, I'm happy to announce that the next 7 chapters (this one included) will be revised and updated! So if this is your first time reading it, then welcome, once again! I hope you all enjoy it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball Super, or Boku no Hero Academia.

Chapter 1: UA High

It's been three whole years since the defeat of the terrifying Cell at the hands of the half-Saiyan child, Son Gohan. Of course, due to the loss of footage, the world was mislead to believe that Hercule Satan was the one to vanquish the being in the place of All Might's absence. Now, the young warrior, after three years of training and studying, stood before the gates of Battle Center B of U.A. High School, the gathering place for many future heroes. Getting this far was nothing thanks to his mother's homeschooling, however she had only agreed to let him enroll if he promised to be a scholar or a doctor or something of the sort as his primary job.

With his hair remaining the same from three years back, Gohan's growth spurt put him at about 5'5", and he had decided to come in his own personal gi, a no-character purple Turtle Hermit gi with a blue undershirt, blue sash, and blue wrist bands, showing a sign of gratitude and respect for the training from both Piccolo and his father. The 14-year-old could spot another boy about his height, with a mess of green hair in a blue track suit shivering in place.

Gohan approached the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder, catching his attention. "Hey, don't worry, ok? I'm sure you'll do fine." He delivered his best confidence-boosting smile.

"Thanks. It really helps that you think that." He told Gohan, followed by an eased smile. "Everyone is so confident about this mock battle."

"Well, that's the key. Be confident in your abilities, and yourself." He reminded the boy with a thumbs up.

"Right! Let's get started!" A man shouted from the top of the structure behind the crowd of students. "Get moving! There are no timers in real battles! RUN RUN RUN, listeners! You're wasting air-time!" With that, Gohan dashed through the crowd. Right out of the gate, he was speeding ahead of the crowd, dropping everyone's jaw as a series of robots began to explode around him, netting him 25 points. Running down the street, he zigzagged back and forth from the left and right side of the street, crushing every enemy that came into sight.

Compared to what he had been through, the robots were like flies. It was as if each one had moved in slow motion prior to being destroyed. As he turned the corner to loop back around to the gate, he saw a young girl down the street, covering her mouth with her cheeks puffed out. Just as a 3-Pointer appeared behind her, Gohan jumped to the side and ripped his leg through it, causing it to explode before carrying on.

Everywhere Gohan went was nothing but destruction. By the last two minutes of the trial, he had gathered around 93 points from the robots. As Gohan took a breather, brushing his hands free of dirt, the ground began to rumble. Turning around, Gohan could see a massive figure emerge from the massive cloud of dust. Making his way to the main street, he could see several people running in the opposite direction. "It's kind of funny, actually. It's not like that thing's an Android." Gohan told himself before crossing his arms. He began to walk away, thinking that there was no point in taking on an enemy that posed no kind of threat or challenge when it wouldn't benefit him.

As the dust settled and the sound of a loud crash filled the small city, Gohan turned around to see the boy from before, floating in the air. "Hey! You have to help me! I can save him!" A voice called out. Looking down, the rubble beneath the robot was burying the young girl that he had saved before. Gohan dashed forward, quickly closing the distance before pulling the rubble off of her. The two looked up and saw the boy holding his arm, falling with no intent of a safe landing. "Something's wrong!" She said. "I have to help him!"

"It's fine, I've got him!" Gohan said, flying into the sky. He met the boy's falling speed and put his arms under him. As he slowed their descent, the crowd began to gather around them.

"It's you..." He said, realizing that he had just been saved. "Wait, I need to find some villains!" The boy said, attempting to lift himself out of Gohan's arms.

"But the challenge is almost over, and you're all beaten up!" Gohan tried explaining to him as he wiggled himself free, attempting to crawl along the ground.

"It doesn't matter! I need to get at least one point in!"

"TIME'S UP!" The announcer spoke, indicating the end of a challenge. With those words, the boy passed out, and the crowd began to disperse. Immediately, a short old woman came outside.

"Oh my. You did this much damage to your own body using your Quirk?" She asked. "I'll take it from here, young man." With the old lady's dismissal, Gohan made himself scarce, trusting in the school's faculty.

Gohan flew over the lush green forest in front of U.A. as he recalled the events from the night before. "Gohan, I know I want you to be a great scholar, but ever since these nasty villains started rising, the streets are barely safe anymore. I want you to be both. A hero just as strong as your father, with a brain more intelligent than your mother's. Will you promise me that if you attend this school, you'll stay on this track, and help lots of people?"

"Of course!" he shouted. "I'll continue right now!" An excited Gohan ran outside and struggled to swing his fists and legs faster than ever. "Just wait until I get in touch with King Kai, he'll give me some weighted training clothes, just like Dad!"

"Look at him, Goku." ChiChi said softly to herself. "I know I said I didn't want his life to be all about martial arts, but he is our son, after all. At least let me keep him educated if he's going to be a fighter. That way he'll at least learn how to drive so he won't bring any attention to himself by flying in the middle of the city, or popping in and out of existence." A hand held itself over her chest, remembering the days when Gohan wasn't even a toddler. The loss of her husband had once again began to ache, seeing how much their son had grown.

Gohan quickly shook his head and flew to a stop, landing in front of his new school and walking inside. 1-A…1-A… It took him some time to actually find his class, but once he finally did, a sense of excitement filled his chest. "There!" He came to a halt in front of a large door. Upon entering, the blue-haired student greeted him.

"Ah! Another diligent and dedicated student I see!" he shouted.

"Hi." Gohan told him with a slight wave. "My name is Gohan Son." He greeted.

"And mine is Tenya Iida." He said, his arm jerking upward as if it was attached to a gear. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Son!"

"Uh, actually, is it alright if you just call me Gohan, Tenya?" He asked.

Iida's eyes widened, and his body bent into a right angle with the speed of a machine. "I greatly apologize for the disrespect I must have shown you! It did not occur to me that you may have been raised differently from myself!"

"Hey, hey! It's alright, Tenya!" Gohan said, waving his arms. Before long, a student with spiky blond hair and red eyes entered the room and sat at one of the tables on the last row before propping his feet on the desk. As Iida began to engage the boy, the door opened once again, revealing the same boy with messy green hair that Gohan had seen at the mock battle.

"Hey! It's you!" Gohan told him as he ran over. "I'm glad to see you made it in, but I was worried that you wouldn't be able to participate after you messed yourself up like that!"

"Oh, right. Recovery Girl fixed me up in no time, so there were no issues. I was really tired afterward, though." He explained. "I'm trying to learn how to really control my Quirk without breaking my limbs."

Gohan smiled and held out his hand. "Well, I hope you get stronger, and learn to control that Quirk of yours. My name is Gohan Son, but I'd prefer if you call me Gohan."

Reaching out and grasping his hand, the boy smiled. "I'm Izuku Midoriya." He said.

"Midoriya and Son? Did I hear that right?" A girl spoke from behind Midoriya. He released Gohan's hand and turned around, startled by how close the girl was.

"I knew it!" She said excitedly. "I'd recognize those hairstyles from anywhere! Thank you both for your help during the mock battle." Her fingertips lightly pressed together, and her smile was intoxicating. "My name is Ochaco Uraraka!"

"It's nice to meet you, but would it be alright if you called me Gohan?" He asked with a chuckle.

The argument in the background ceased as the boy with blond hair got up from his seat and walked over. "Oh, Kacchan! Funny how both ended up in the same class, isn't that just crazy, we get to train together to be Heroes-"

"You." The single word cut off Midoriya's nervous babbling. "I heard about what you did. Word spread quickly about how you took down that massive robot with a single hit."

Gohan and Midoriya's faces both blanked in confusion. "Uh... Actually, that was-"

"Don't think you're better than me just because you took on some giant clunk of metal." With a confident smile, he raised his hand. "I'm gonna enjoy stomping you under my boot."

"Well, I'm always open to a sparring match, if you'd like, but it sounds like you wouldn't enjoy the outcome."

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?!" Kacchan yelled as he grabbed Gohan by the collar. "Why don't we get our outcome right now?!"

"You would dare assault one of your classmates on the first day!?" Iida shouted, joining the fray.

"Stop yelling, kid." A voice suddenly spoke as everyone stopped. Turning around, the five students could see a worn-out man wrapped in a yellow sleeping bag sprawled across the floor. "You should all be in your seats right now. Don't you know it's time for class to start?" Picking himself up, the man crawled out of his sleeping bag, revealing set of plain dark clothes and a bundled and layered scarf. "It took entirely too long all of you to notice that I was here." He said lazily. "If I was a villain, you'd be dead. That's going to change by the end of your time here. I'm your teacher, Shoto Aizawa. Now, put these on and gather around outside." He demanded, pulling out a blue gym uniform.

After Aizawa introduced himself, we were told to put on the school's Gym Uniforms and go outside to the baseball fields, where we would be tested with our Quirks. It was time for the first test, 50 meter dash. Gohan was paired with Iida, so they both huddled at the starting line, and upon start, he managed to stun everyone once the machine read: "0.00 seconds!" after crossing the finish line, followed by Iida's three second run. The students all lost their jaws after hearing the time listed.

"The next test was the grip strength. I could hear the boy with the Tape Quirk praise the large man for hitting 540 kilograms on the grip machine. Gohan gave it a squeeze, and before he knew it, the bar in his hand was crushed, with a reading of 1346 kilograms. "No way!" the Tape boy shouted. As small as you are, you're gripping almost 1400 kilos?!"

"Well, I think the machine broke before I could finish squeezing." Gohan said modestly.

"What the hell is this kid?!" multiple people shouted.

The third test. Long jumps. Gohan tried to suppress his Ki to keep himself from flying, managing to jump the longest distance. At the fourth test, it turns out that the camera couldn't catch him side-stepping, and could just barely get the afterimage.

The fifth test, the softball throw. Gohan went up right after the boy with a bird-head. Alright, Kacchan got 705 meters. Let's go beyond with this. Gohan thought to himself as he threw the ball hard, kicking up a dust cloud around the class. The dust settled, and after about ten minutes, the device that Aizawa used to measure distance finally read 'infinity' the way it did with Uraraka's throw.

Next up was Midoriya. "Do your best, Izuku." Gohan told him as they passed each other by. Aizawa stood in front of the class, and as Midoriya reeled his hand back, his arm began to surge with power. Gohan smiled wide, however, just as Midoriya's chucked his arm forward, the surging energy disappeared. "Huh...?"

Looking over, Gohan could see that scarf around his teacher's neck was floating. All of a sudden, the scarf shot out and wrapped itself around Midoriya, dragging him by the heels. The two had a spoke quietly, making it impossible to hear their conversation. "What do you think they're talking about?" Uraraka asked.

"I don't know. I hope that everything is alright..." Finally, Aizawa released his student, and sent him back to the circle. He looked down for several minutes before, finally, his eyes filled with determination. This time, Gohan couldn't feel the same level of power surging. It was now more concentrated, coming from a single point. With his throw, the ball blasted into the sky, and he looked to Aizawa, biting his lip.

"Do you see, Mr. Aizawa? I didn't break my arm this time!" He told him. I guess he really has been having trouble controlling that power... Gohan thought, taken note of his friend's broken finger. It must be hard not being able to use your powers without hurting yourself. I have to help him...

Something switched in Bakugo, making him spring towards Midoriya, explosions engulfing his hands. "DEKU YOU BASTARD! TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT OR YOU'RE DEAD!" He yelled before being subdued by his teacher. [Explanation of capture tape]

The following tests allowed Gohan to shine, with the exception of the seated toe-touch. Although flexibility is an important element in martial arts, there were others who managed to stretch further than Gohan, since most of his past training never focused too much on stretching. Once the tests were finished, Aizawa presented a ranked list of students, as follows:

"Gohan Son, Momo Yaoyorozu, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Tenya Iida, Fumikage Tokoyami, Mezo Shoji, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Ochaco Uraraka, followed by the next ten contenders. As it turned out, nobody was getting expelled, and so ended the first day of Gohan's new life at U.A. High School. He caught up to Iida and Midoriya as they were walking to the station, which reminded him of something.

"Izuku," Gohan said, catching their attention, "can I ask you something?"

"Huh? Yeah, sure, what is it?" Midoriya said, looking over.

"You Quirk... Every time you use it, you end up hurting yourself bad, don't you?" He asked, shocking his friend.

"He's right, Midoriya. I even heard that during the mock battles, you broke your arm and legs." Iida chimed in.

Midoriya began to panic slightly, letting out a nervous chuckle. "Hehe, yeah... I guess I'm still just too strong for my own good."

"Do you think we could do some training together to help you control it better?" Gohan asked him, causing his eyes to widen.

Midoriya suddenly turned to him, eyes shimmering with a gleam of hope shining bright. "O-Of course! Do you really think you could help me!?"

"You can do that, Gohan?" Iida asked him.

With a nod, Gohan made sure to lean in. "I can. I can help him make a lot of progress in a very brief period of time. It's not necessarily a shortcut, cause he has to work even harder than he normally would, but it'll be good for him. Although, Tenya..." Gohan held his hands together in front of him. "I'm really sorry. The place I want to take Izuku is extremely secretive. You wouldn't be able to come with us."

"It's fine." Iida said with a smile. "I can understand your concern for our classmate. It's very noble of you." He tucked his arms into his sides and bowed to them. "I wish you the best of luck." With his farewell, he split from the two and began to make his way home.

"Good. Then take my hand." Gohan said, turning to Midoriya and holding out his hand.

"Alright." In compliance, Midoriya rested his hand on Gohan's.

With two fingers raised to his forehead, Gohan smiled and closed his eyes. "I learned this technique from my father in the same place we're heading to."

In an instant, Midoriya could see the open sky behind Gohan. His lungs began to fill with clean open air. "Wha...?" Walking over to the edge, Midoriya's eyes widened as he could see the entire world beneath him. "Where are we?!"

"We're at my friend's home. His name is Korin." Gohan explained with a smile.

"But where-!?" Before Gohan could finish, another voice interrupted.

"Oh, Gohan! What brings you here?"

Looking over, Midoriya's eyes began to sink, taking in the view of a fluffy, pudgy white cat and his staff. "It's...a cat... That's weird, i could have sworn I heard someone else talking..."

"Hey, Korin. Could I have four of five Senzu Beans for my friend, Izuku?" Gohan asked him, looking down at his old friend.

"And now he's talking to the cat..." Midoriya said, suspended in disbelief.

"Of course." He said gleefully. "It's always a pleasure when you stop by." Midoriya's jaw hung, unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Are you okay, Izuku?" Gohan asked his friend.

Midoriya attempted to make some kind of sense of the situation unfolding before him. "Y-Yeah. Yeah, actually. I think I've read about this. Animals that were experimented on to see if they show signs of having Quirks, or something along those lines."

"Hey, kid, I don't about your fancy powers, but I've been around for over 800 years, and I've yet to come across any kind of person evil enough to do something like that." He explained. "Geez, you have no idea where they came from and yet you humans act like you know everything there is to know. Your friend seems a little ignorant, Gohan."

"I'm sorry, sir." Midoriya said with a bow.

"It's fine, it's fine. Just open your mind a little, kid. Suspend your disabelief."

"Heed his word, Izuku. You'd be surprised what you can learn from an 800-year-old cat." He told him before reaching out his hand. "Come on, it's time for us to head to the Lookout."

"R-Right..." Midoriya took his hand once again, and rather than vanishing, the two lifted off gently. "G-Gohan!? Where are we going?!"

"The Lookout. It's right above us!" Gohan explained as he slowly began to lift himself to the platform beyond the sky.

Looking down at the world below him, with the massive countries that he'd read about looking so small, he began to grow curious. "Hey Gohan?"

"What is it?"

"I thought you didn't have a Quirk? That softball throw, your physical assessment scores, teleportation, flight. It honestly looks like you have more than one Quirk."

"You wouldn't believe me if I said that Instant Transmission wasn't a Quirk." Gohan began. "But I've attained my abilities and skills through a decade of training. Not just my body, but my mind, as well. The mastery of handling one's Ki can lead to amazing things, Izuku."

"Where is it that we're going anyway?" Midoriya asked.

"Just above us is a special place, a place where time travels differently." Gohan began to explain. "In the span of a single night out here, more than half a year will pass in there."

"Woah! Half a year?!" Midoriya shouted as they reached the edge of the Lookout.

"That's right." Putting Midoriya down, Gohan stepped down, and the two walked towards the center.

"Welcome to my Lookout, Young Izuku Midoriya." A green man with antennae greeted.

"How did you know...?"

"Dende is the guardian of the Lookout." Gohan butted in. "He acts as the God of the world and oversees everything that happens on the surface."

"G...God...?" Midoriya hunched over and his face became blank.

"Where's Mr. Popo, Dende?" Gohan asked his old friend.

"He's tending to the plants inside. You came to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, right?"

"That's right!" Gohan told him with a nod.

"Then you'll probably see him on your way in. He just started a couple of minutes ago." Dende told him with a smile as Gohan snapped out of it.

"Gohan." He said as the Saiyan turned to him. "You said that I'll get half of year of training in one night, right?"

"That's what I said."

Open your mind a little... Suspend your disbelief... "Mr. God, if it's alright, I'd like to contact my mother."

"Of course, Young Izuku Midoriya. Take your time." Dende said before walking away with Gohan to handle whatever matters Dendes handle.

Once everything got settled, Gohan returned with different pairs of training armor, on top of weighted training clothes. "Okay, so beyond those doors is a separate dimension that dilates time, just like I was saying. So, we are going to train until 4:00 AM, which will be about twelve hours out here, but in there, about six months will pass by."

"Right!" The two walked in, and instantly, the bright white of the endless void began to make Midoriya's eyes ache. "This is incredible... It's endless!"

"Be prepared, Izuku. Once you step off the platform you'll find yourself flattened against the ground if you're not bracing yourself." Gohan warned as Midoriya sought to feel this firsthand. Before he could step off of the platform, Gohan grabbed his arm. "Before that, I need you to explain how your Quirk works."

"My Quirk!?" Midoriya asked, panicking slightly.

"I can't help you control it if I don't know anything about it."

"Oh, right..." His voice trailed off. "It's an Emitter-type Quirk. An enhancement one. I can generate a lot of strength in a part of my body, but it breaks all the bones in that body part."

"Izuku, your Quirk... It's not yours, is it?" Gohan asked.

"Where did that come from?!" Midoriya shouted, taking a step back.

"Quirks begin to manifest in people as young children. Hearing the way you're describing your Quirk, it sounds like you haven't figured it out yet. As if you've only just discovered it. I know it sounds crazy, I don't know any other way for a somebody without a Quirk to suddenly show signs." He explained.

His arms dropped to his side and his head hung low. "Is it that obvious?" He asked in defeat.

"If you dwell on it for too long it is." Gohan told him.

"It's supposed to be a secret..."

"You can trust me. If it'll help me understand your Quirk and help you control it better, I'd like to know." Several moments passed before Midoriya finally spoke again.

"One For All. That's the name of my power." He said. "Although I barely know much about it myself, I know that I'm the ninth holder of this power. It's a manifestation of the power of the previous eight holders. All Might is my predecessor." He said. "He chose me to become the world's next greatest hero! So I want to control One For All, and make it my own!"

"I want you to activate One For All in your arm, then." Gohan told him.

"But what if I-!?"

"Midoriya," Gohan said, expressing a stern tone, "for the next six months, you are training under me. As such, you need to show me the appropriate level of respect. As your teacher, I know what I'm doing."

"Y-Yes sir!" Midoriya complied and staggered his stance. Raising his arm in front of him, he allowed his power to surge fully.

"Hold it! No matter what, do not let go of that power!" Gohan demanded as he took a step closer. Midoriya's eyes widened as his teacher pressed a hand to his chest. Suddenly, he was falling back, and it felt like the weight of a thousand pounds pressed down on him. "Hold the power, Midoriya!"

"Ghg! I'm trying!"

Gohan drop to one knee next to Midoriya and grabbed his arm. "Look at this, Midoriya! Don't you understand!?"

Understand? He thought to himself. Understand what?!

"It's no wonder you break all your bones after a single punch! You've trained your body to handle a small portion of an incredible power! But not only do you try to use the full force of a power you can't handle, you allow it to build up in a single point!" Finally, Midoriya's eyes widened with realization.

He's right!? Why didn't I think of this before?! The image of All Might flashed through his mind, both in his crippled state, and his buff state. All Might isn't always big and muscly! He has to activate it... with the thought racing through his head like a plug to an outlet, the power in his arm began to lessen, and the weight that was being pressed onto him became lighter, throughout his whole body!

Midoriya picked himself up and his body began to tremble. "How do you feel now, Midoriya?"

He grit his teeth to keep focused on the new sensation, and Gohan could see his eyes were full of determination. "Like I can fight!"
