"In a small little dojo, a girl would be training with two old men. One of them was the legendary Gohan, and the other was Hanzo Shiranui, both being trained under the legend Master Roshi in their youth. They were training Mai Shiranui, Hanzo's granddaughter. Hanzo knew it would be a while, but his time was coming, and he wanted to make sure Mai was prepared to carry on her legacy.
"Just recently, Mai discovered she has pyrokinesis, even though it's not exactly good as of now. Currently, she is practicing her throwing skills with her fan, trying to cut a tree trunk. "C'mon Mai, you're almost there…", she muttered to herself. After all this practice, she knew she was on the verge of doing it. She then took a deep breath. "Okay. 3…2…1…"

"Kachosen!"

"She then threw her fan with all her might, making a whiff sound. Mai smiled, as she then heard something fall to the ground. She opened her eyes, and found the fan landing of top of the trunk, completely bent."

"What the- What did I hit!?" Mai was in shock, as the fan was damaged beyond repair. She then found a white piece of what seemed to be metal. This kept her spirits up, as she was able to dent metal, where-ever it came from. "Master Gohan is gonna be so happy!", Mai said, as she began to look for whatever she had hit.

"As you may have figured out already, this would be the ship that Kakarot was sent in, or Goku as his earthling name. Gohan would still find him, but a little farther then his initial landing spot in canon, thanks to Mai knocking him slightly off-course.

"Gohan, Hanzo, and Mai would all go to see what the commotion was about. They then find Kakarot in his space pod, crying. Everyone would be concerned, especially Mai. This boy is so young; around 3 years old. Who would leave him out in the forest? Gohan and Hanzo both agree to adopt him, since the boy seems to like Mai a lot, and Mai likes him back. Kakarot would still be named Goku, but would have "Shiranui" in addition, as a last name. So this means that Goku is Hanzo's grandson, as he does want to keep his bloodline alive.

Nothing really happens in the timeskip. With Gohan and Hanzo there, if Goku went Great Ape, they would be able to take him down. He would also not hit his head, so he still retains his saiyan memories. This does cause him to still be hostility and aggressiveness as such, but that would be curved thanks to everyone around him, including Andy Bogard. Mai would be 4 years older than Goku, the same age as Bulma. Andy arrived at the Shiranui Dojo when he was 10, so Andy would be around the same age as well. With two additional training partners and two masters, Goku would dwarf himself at the beginning of Dragon Ball. He probably would be slightly above 100 at the beginning thanks to this, and Mai and Andy wouldn't be far behind.

During one of their training sessions, Goku decides to take flight. Due to his training, Goku would eventually discover the ability of flight, adapting to it rather quickly. Mai and Andy would be jealous of this, and would be striving to learn how to do it themselves. They would be firing small ki blasts left and right at Goku, practicing their aim. Goku would nearly dodge a blast from Mai. "Good one Mai, you're coming close! I'm coming to the ground now!"Goku would be flying across the ground as Mai and Andy tried to hit him with physical attacks, increasing their reaction speed. Out of nowhere, they would sense something coming. It was coming in fast, and Mai and Andy jumped out of the way. Andy knew what was coming. "Goku watch out! There's a car incoming!"

"A car? What's tha-"

Before Goku could say his sentence fully, he ends up on the car's windshield. A blue-haired girl then comes on out, followed by someone who resembles her and a man in what seems to be a general's outfit. He would then check to see if Goku is ok, and he gives a thumbs up. "Don't worry miss Bulma, the boy is alright.", The man says. He then rubs his head, taking off his hat. "Sorry for that. My name is Heidern, and this is my child Leona. Say hi Leona." "H-Hi.", Leona said. It was very obvious that Leona didn't look like one for talking. Bulma then introduced herself, stating what they are here for: the Dragon Ball. "Oh, this?", Goku said, holding the Four-Star Ball in his hand. Bulma nodded, explaining the legend behind them, including the wish that you can get when you have all seven. Heidern would have one on himself from the Pilaf Gang, a group that was causing trouble. Mai would have one from Master Roshi, who the kids would finish training with near the end of the timeskip.

"Great, five Dragon Balls! This'll leave us with two!", Bulma said. "Hold on. Just because we have them doesn't mean we need to hand them over." Roshi then stepped in, hearing the commotion. "How about Goku and Leona fight for them, sir? I can sense their power seems about the same."
Heidern then sensed their ki, which confirmed Roshi's statement. "Well, I'm impressed. I thought there wouldn't be another as strong as Leona.", Heidern stated. "How is that?"

"Well mister, I'm not exactly human.", Goku said. He then explained what he was, a saiyan, to the best of his ability. Heidern is agasp that an extra-terrestrial was standing in front of him, and that he could transform into a giant monkey apparently. Once he heard about the pod though, Heidern then assumed that Goku was sent off his planet, whatever it was called. "Leona, test your training against Goku until I get back. This Roshi person will watch." Heidern then went off to get the pod that Goku came in, with Roshi guiding them to the front of the Shiranui dojo. Leona then tied her hair into a ponytail, getting into a fighting stance.

"Goku, I do not intend to lose.", Leona said, as she clipped her special earrings on. "You can bet, I don't intend to either. Let's see what you got!", Goku said, getting in his iconic stance. Hanzo then got his hand in the air. "Ready…."/

"Begin!"

The fight started, with Leona dashing in with a swipe of ki from her hand. Goku simply ducked, doing a Flurry Kick. Leona then created a ki shield around herself, causing Goku to get back and fire a ki blast. "Saw that coming." Leona then made a ki blast of her own, which vastly out-powered Goku's regular ki blasts. However, Goku was able to walk under it, doing an uppercut to capitalize. "Nice attack, but it's way too slow!", Goku says, as he launches shirukens from up high. Leona would attempt to counter, but Goku would kick her in the face, allowing the shirukens to land. Leona would be able to recover however, as she kicks Goku into the air. Goku reaches for his Power Pole, but Leona uses it to her advantage and uses it as a platform to reach Goku. She then sticks her hand into his midsection, causing a massive explosion. Leona would call the move "Gravity Storm."

"Ok, that'll be enough from you two.", Roshi said, as Goku and Leona landed on the ground. "It seems while Goku has the advantage in the air with his shirukens and on the ground with his ki blasts, he wasn't taking the fight seriously. Leona was composed throughout the whole fight, remaining calm. So, Leona wins!" "Thank you, Mister Roshi.", Leona said, as she shook Roshi's hand. Heidern came back, with Goku's pod locked inside a capsule from Capsule Corp. Once he heard who won, he was happy that Leona was the victor. "Seems the training paid off, didn't it?", he said. "Hey Goku, Leona needs someone like you to keep her training up. How about joining us for some extra training after we gather the Dragon Balls?"Goku thought about this, and accepted. "Why of course, Mr. Heidern. You better teach me though slashing tricks though!", Goku says, as he enters the truck with the rest of the group. Mai and Andy aren't allowed to go since they're not as strong as Goku yet, so they continue their training.

The only Dragon Balls that would be left at this point would be the one stuck in Fire Mountain, and the one that the Pilaf Gang has. Heidern and Leona on the way would acquire the other balls, since Heidern views the hunt as a mission: he wants to get the job done. "Getting the Dragon Ball in Fire Mountain would be much easier than in canon, since Goku would know the Kamehameha already. Goku would fly back home to see if Roshi or Hanzo had the Bansho Fan, and Hanzo reveals that he has kept it in mint condition. Upon hearing the situation, Hanzo lets Goku borrow the fan, on the condition he brings it right back. "Of course! It'll only take a minute, Master Hanzo!", Goku says, as he flies back to Mt. Paozu. With one swipe of the fan, Goku is able to put out the fire, keeping the mountain intact. The Ox King gives them the six-star ball for this, as the group drives away to their next location; Pilaf's Castle. In this timeline, since Heidern wants to wrap things up quickly, Chi-Chi doesn't get to ask if she'll see Goku again. This means they'll never meet up so Chi-Chi won't get the chance to ask Goku a marriage proposal.

In his castle, Pilaf's henchmen (and woman) Shu and Mai would be fighting against two unseen figures. A staff on fire would hit Shu, breaking his sword and knocking him out. On Mai's hand, she simply surrenders, as without Pilaf and Shu, they can't get into their mech. She would then be backed into a corner, where Pilaf would be holding the Dragon Ball he has. "I won't give you the Dragon Ball, never!", Pilaf said, as he punched the other figure with all his might. However, it didn't do a thing, as the figure grabbed him by his arm.

"PREDICTABLE!"

The figure would throw Pilaf over his shoulder, making the Dragon Ball knock into a light. The light turns on, revealing two figures to Pilaf and Mai: the notorious crimelord Geese Howard, and his champion Billy Kane. Geese then grabbed the Dragon Ball. "We have what we came for, Pilaf. Billy, it's time to get out." Geese then looked over, staring at Pilaf. "If you interfere with my plans again, you won't be so lucky next time, Pilaf." Him and Billy then walked out of Pilaf's Castle, getting into a helicopter that was parked outside. This is the time Heidern's group would arrive, as they would be slowed down by Goku giving the Bansho Fan back to Hanzo. Heidern would then recognize the figure in the helicopter. "It's Geese! Goku, fire that Kamehameha of yours!", Heidern said, as he started shooting at the helicopter with a sniper rifle. Billy would be able to defect the bullets with his pole, but out of nowhere, him and Geese see the Kamehameha flying at them. Geese then smiles, jumping out of the helicopter.

"Shippuken!"

The Shippuken would be able to disperse the Kamehameha, as Geese calmly landed on the ground. "Seems I have a couple of visitors. Where did you come from?", Geese asks. "More importantly, which one of you shot that projectile? It's been a long time since I seen it."

"I did!", Goku states, bearing his Turtle School gi. Geese then had flashbacks of when he trained under Tung Fu Rue and Master Roshi, with his nemesis Jeff Bogard. Despite the move taking 50 years to make, they were able to use the Kamehameha in due time, as the monstrous ki blast is no easy thing to use. Geese would still get kicked out of both of their dojo's, and still kill Jeff Bogard along the line. The difference in this timeline is that Geese is stronger than he would be, since he had better training that he did in the canon story. "So, I finally meet one of his students, after all these years…", Geese muttered, as he looked at Goku, noticing the tail. "What jungle did that perverted old man got you from?"

Goku didn't take this insult lightly, as he got in front of Geese. "I came from the Shiranui Dojo, and I've finished my training with him!" Geese then rubbed his chin. "So you finished your training, while you seem no older than 5? Interesting…. Where's the tail from then?" "I'm no mere human, sir! I'm a saiyan; were a race of warriors!", Goku said, as he got into a fighting position. Geese was shocked; an alien was on Earth? He wanted to know more, but he had to go. Just as he turned, Goku went for the Dragon Ball. Geese simply threw him in the back of the van, where Goku mad contact with the bag with the rest of the balls inside, revealing them all.

"Oh? Seems this conversation was worth something.", Geese said, as Heidern immediately got out of the truck. "You won't be having those, Geese Howard!", Heidern said, as he got into a fighting position. Geese then sensed for ki signatures, and found that this general was strong. He then sensed the blue-haired girl in the army uniform was around the same power as that kid with the tail. Geese would sense that he was outmatched in terms of power, and would think of something that could ensure his plan of getting the Dragon Balls.

"Commander, I have a proposition that may peak your interest.", Geese said. Heidern let him speak, as long as Geese didn't pull any tricks. Geese then accepted this rule, as he explained his proposal; another King of Fighters tournament. He then states if Goku or him can beat himself in the tournament, which will be taking four months from now, he'll hand over his Dragon Ball and tell them the password for it. If they lose, he'll take their balls and wish for ultimate power. Heidern then sighed, knowing he couldn't take Geese on where he is now. "Fine, but you hold onto that promise, got it?" Geese then laughed, getting back into the helicopter. "Don't worry, I will! You two better hold your end of the bargain!" The helicopter then flew off, as Heidern then drove Bulma back home, who is mad since she has to wait more for her wish. Heidern then drives back to base.

At the base, Goku and Leona then stood in place, with Heidern then coming into the picture. "As you know, the crimelord Geese Howard has the one last Dragon Ball that we need so we can get a wish!", Heidern exclaimed. "He will be announcing a tournament later this week in 4 months, so we must prepare!"

"Commander, how will we beat him?", Leona asked. "Earlier, you confirmed he was stronger than you." Heidern then nodded, planting a device on the ground. "This is a teleporter! Once we step in, we'll be where you will be training for the next four months! Any questions?" Goku didn't reply, as he was curious where they would end up. "Good. Come to my position!" Goku and Leona then went to where Heidern was, and the teleporter then activated, teleporting them to a different place. It was daytime where they were, as Goku then looked around his surroundings. They were on a dojo, which looked like the Shiranui Dojo a bit. A figure then stepped out of the shadows, as an middle-aged man came out in a white gi.

"I am Takuma Sakazaki, the founder of the Kyokugenryu Karate style of martial arts! Do you have what it takes to survive my harsh training?"
