Miguel disappears into a whirlwind of cempasuchil's petals along with a golden flash. It's finally over… the petals fell to the ground as the ray of luz de sol warmed his bone. Imelda let go of his hand, and carefully pulled Héctor up, letting him rest against her sternum. Wrapping one arm around him, and gently brushed his bangs with her free hand. Héctor let out a relieved sigh, and turned his face toward the rising sun by the horizon.

"The sun is coming, mi amor." he smiled, "New day for you.".

Imelda shook her head, "For us, Héctor." she corrected him, "That's what you said to me after I said I do.".

He smiled at her answer, she remembered...

"I'm in love with you, and I'm glad that you loved me too…" Héctor paused at the shimmering agony, "I'm sorry for everything".

"Then you better hold on, idiota", Imelda answered calmly, "Miguel is helping you, once you're okay, I'll make sure I remind you every day what kind of loco you are."

"You are right, I'm an idiot… I shouldn't have left Santa Cecilia." he kept talking, "But it's too late for me, mi amor." he gleamed and trembled.

"Please tell Coco that I love her..."

That was the last petición from Héctor before he slipped into the unconscious. His body disassembled after the shimmering stopped, but didn't disappear.

~ The Twins Bedroom, Rivera Hacienda

Imelda entered the room with Héctor's skull in her arms. Her family followed close as they held Héctor's parts. Imelda placed his skull on the pillow, and Victoria reattached all the bones.

"Thank you, nieta." Said Imelda.

"You can go, mija. We'll take care of this." Julio reassured, and Victoria nodded.

Victoria rushed back to her room to get a backpack. Imelda sent Victoria off at the door, she didn't want her nieta to be away at all after nearly losing Héctor. She wanted all her familia here, reassuring her that they are still here, but she had caused enough trouble last night, she had no rights to interrupt Victoria's schedule.

"Dios! We got a lot to work on him!" Said Oscar.

"I will wash the wig." Filipe took off Héctor's wig.

"I'll fix the top." Rosita reached for the button, but the twin stopped her.

"Ah-ah-ah! you 2 go to bed-" Oscar said to Julio, and Rosita.

"Leave this to the professional!"

"What do you two think you are doing!?" the entire family turned stiff at Imelda's glare.

"We… want to…"

"Fix him?" Filipe finished Oscar's sentence.

Imelda sighed, they said it as if Héctor's condition is something that could be fixed. Not that she didn't want him to get better, she wanted him to get better, but cleaning him, and mending his clothes won't fix it. Memory is all we are...

"You all go to bed, I'll do this myself."

"No! You go to bed, hermana." Oscar turned to Rosita, and Julio along with his twin.

"You 2! Make sure she gets some rest.".

The in-laws nodded, and took Imelda out of the room with them.

Héctor opened his eyes at the sound of the water, why is final death so wet? Héctor looked around as his sight was slowly coming back. He was in a bathroom, laying in a large running tub. Héctor sat up, and moved the curtains away.

"Filipe?"

The man turned to him from the sink with a smile, and finished washing the wig, placing it on a stand.

"You're finally up!" Filipe walked to him, and turned off the tap, "How are you feeling? I was waiting for you to wake up before I unwrap your broken bones for the scrub, will it cause more damage?".

"You can wrap the leg, just leave the arm alone."

Filipe nodded, and unwrapped Héctor's broken leg. Scrubbing the man's bone with his mechanic brush as Oscar got Héctor's clothes off the drying machine, and mending it with his own invented machine.

The twin helped their brother-in-law dress up, and then guided him to sit on the chair in front of the dressing table. Oscar placed the damp wig back on Héctor's head as Filipe pulled out a giant fan. It dried Héctor's wig in one woof! But also left him looking a bit like a lion, and then a plumped skeleton woman in pink pajama entered the room with a comb, and a pair of scissors.

"Thanks for come helping-"

"She's still sleeping, right?" the twin asked, and she nodded.

"Julio is watching her."

Héctor knew everyone's name, but never has a chance to actually get to know them like the twins, and Victoria. Rosita combed his hair, and started trimming the end. Héctor looked at himself in the mirror after the hat was placed on him after everything's done.

He looked clean! Not as neat as when he was alive, but he felt like himself again. Héctor smiled, and turned to the Riveras.

"Thank you so much, guys!" He meant it.

"You're very welcome, Papá Héctor." Rosita smiled, "I can't wait for you to meet my brother, Julio! He is Coco's esposo.".

Coco's husband… His yerno... Victoria had told him a bit about her father, how he always kissed Coco's forehead before breakfast, watching wrestling after dinner, but she always kept the detail minimum, and told him to 'Go learn about him yourself, abuelito.'. He wants to stay, and get to know all his familia again more than anything, but…

"I don't think I can stay, Señora.".

"It's Rosita! You can call me 'Mija', but don't you ever act distant on me! Papá Héctor." Rosita corrected him, and calmed her tone down, "Don't you want to stay, and get to know your son-in-law? And your granddaughter too!" Rosita insisted, "Victoria's usually not here on Friday to Saturday, but you know what I mean! A lot happened after you died, don't you want to make up for those times?"

"I want to, Rosita, but Imelda w-"

"We'll talk to her for you, Hermano." Oscar reassured him.

"And if she doesn't agree-"

"We can always put sugar in her bitter coffee." The twin laughed.

"Just don't leave, Papá Héctor." Rosita pleaded.

Héctor looked at the twin, they haven't changed at all. There's so much he remembered about them, but at the same time, so much to learn more about them. He wondered what he would find in Julio: Coco's Husband, Rosita: her childhood friend, and 'Mamá Imelda': the woman his wife had grown into.

"What about this?" he said, and tucked one arm under his elbow as he moved his free hand to the side.

Imelda is gonna be pissed off when she wakes up xD what do you think is his plan?

I know the twins are goofy, but if they managed to make shoes, and sell them along with Imelda, I'm pretty sure that out of 1000 of failed stuffs they made, there must be something that works.

So welcome to Start Friday 3 Nov. 2017, right after the rising sun in the film. This fic is dedicated to Elletoria! She sent me photo references, and inspired me!
