Rapturous Ocean

Dr. Brigid Tenenbaum was watching the screens of Rapture, specifically a screen showing Dionysus Park. The arts center of Sofia Lamb, the new ruler of Rapture. Currently, the park was being torn apart by a Big Sister, the horrid result of ADAM forcing the Little Sisters bodies to grow exponentially faster than they should. And then Gilbert Alexander came along, and decided to train them to carry Little Sisters around, much like their former protectors the Big Daddies did.

This Big Sister was different. She had been part of a special group when she was a Little Sister. Her Big Daddy was bonded to her in multiple ways, not including the fact that he was her actual father. They both had been taken, and changed into a pair, Big Daddy and Little Sister. Her Big Daddy had been tied to her in many ways, so that they were almost one. So when her Big Daddy had been "decommissioned", and subsequently discarded, she had broken. Her mind shattered, and then she grew, as her ADAM forced her to do so. When she was taken in to become a Big Sister, they had to restrain her, and when the operation was finished, she was even more aggressive than others like her.

This one still remembered her time as a Little Sister. Most of her kin don't fully recall what they once were. And she still misses her Father, her Protector, her Big Daddy. Her name had been Hana. Her Big Daddy had been a special one, one of three to be made like him.

His name had been Omega. And he was a Heavy Big Daddy. Again, one of only three, he had a very high position among all the Daddies that went around, and repaired Rapture. He had heavier plating, so much that he could withstand much higher pressures than a normal Big Daddy. He looked similar to Delta, but his faceplate was four vertical slots. (A/N: Think Furnace from Ben Ten, only slimmed down to Delta's size.)

He also didn't have external EVE tanks and First Aid gel tanks. They were located on the inside of a special diving bell/air tank combination. The IV tubes that lead from them to himself were located on the inside of his suit. He had three tanks, one for fuel, second for air, and the third was connected to the dive bell so he could move outside Rapture with his daughter, and she would be comfortable for an hour and a half till she would start losing oxygen. He also had a special thruster pack that took the surrounding water, and used it to propel him through the water for a short period of time. It was so he could climb sea shelves if he fell too deep.

He had a modified Rivet Gun, it's air pressure fired rivets at a much higher velocity, allowing him to shoot into harder material. His Drill was much the same as any other Big Daddies drill, and he had a shotgun, a double barrel that he modified over time. But the crowning achievement was a large, Anchor Driver, or Bolt Gun. It fired steel rods a foot long, and about 40mm thick, into anything. Bedrock, Steel, Iron, any material that he fired into, it would be anchored till the end of time.(S/N: Think Doomguy's Arbalest from Doom Eternal.)

His Little Sister had a larger ADAM needle container, as had the other Little Sisters for his brethren Big Daddies. They could collect more, and were able to convert it into EVE in the dive bell of their Daddies.

Dr. Tenenbaum sighed, watching Hana destroy and pillage Dionysus Park. She wanted to help the Big Sister, but how?

As she thought, she heard noise behind her. It sounded almost like buzzing. She turned around to her office, empty for now with most of the Little Sisters she cared for running around Rapture. In the middle of the room, she saw a blue line in the middle of the air. As she watched, it opened, and out of it stepped a girl with black hair, a blue and white dress on. Following her, a man and a woman stepped out, they could have been twins except for the fact they were different genders.

"Are you Dr. Brigid Tenenbaum?" the first person asks. Tenenbaum looks at her.

"Yes, I am. What is going on, who are you people?" she asks. The first person shook her head again.

"I'm sorry, I'm Elizabeth, and these two are the Lutece twins. We need your help. We need a Big Daddy, and a Big Sister. Preferably ones that will get along well." Elizabeth says.

Dr. Brigid Tenenbaum was speechless. What is going on. But she shook those thoughts away. She thought of something, a way to help a certain girl who was scared, and alone. Dr. Tenenbaum nodded her head.

"I have a pair. The only problem is that the Big Daddy I need is dead. If I can get some of him to a Vita-Chamber, I can revive him. And then I need a specific Big Sister, if you can get her here, I can help." Elizabeth smiles gratefully, before responding.

"Of course, the Lutece twins can probably handle the Vita-Chamber, I don't know what that is. I'll go get the Big Sister." Dr. Tenenbaum stopped her before she left.

"Wait, be careful. This place is not safe to go alone. Also, it is easy to get lost. Let me call a Little Sister here to guide you. They know where the Big Sister is that I want, and will get you there safely. Tell her her father is coming home. It will help calm her down." Dr. Tenenbaum finishes. Elizabeth nods and waits for a Little Sister, who comes, and guides her to the Big Sister who is still rampaging in Dionysus park.

Hurt, pain, loneliness. These were the things that Hana felt, as she destroyed Dionysus Park.

Her Daddy had been killed. Thrown out when he was no longer useful, since his brethren had lost their own Little Sisters. She knew somewhere in her mind that her Daddy had been special, and not because he had an important job. He was special to her, in ways she couldn't understand, but felt were important.

She missed her Daddy. He had stopped the bad people from hurting her, but when he had been killed because he wasn't needed, they had left her alone, and unprotected.

She had killed her first Splicer by accident. She didn't know she could spew fire from her hands. She didn't know she could freeze the air around her till frost formed on everything. She hadn't realized she could send out hundreds of volts of electricity that could stop a man's heart. She didn't know that she had plasmids running through her veins. As she had grown quickly, she learned just as fast. She learned which Plasmids she had specifically, and she learned very well how to use them. She now was able to summon swarms of bees that burned or froze or shocked her enemies, she could manipulate the sea around the outside of Rapture to move at her whim with Telekinesis.

She had learned everything she could about herself, and she had learned it quickly. And when they came to take her, she had resisted, until they had knocked her out. She remembers them doing it. And she remembers the sullen looking woman, who had told her sorry over and over as she changed her. As she put her in the suit she now wore, modified to be just as special as her Daddies.

Her needle had been modified to be retracted into the injector when she didn't need it, plus she could spray ADAM to bait Splicers. She could also carry more ADAM in said needle, a special tank she made herself connected to the needle as a storage container, made from the tank of a dead Big Sister. She had removed the large cage she had been given to hold Little Sisters. She wasn't her Daddy, and she didn't want to try and pretend to be. She had left the two oxygen tanks on her back, she needed had metal rib-like plating over her torso, and down her arms. (A/N: I was thinking along the lines of her dive suit looking similar to the class 5 Engineering suit from Dead Space, but her Big Sister suit is along the lines of Eleanors.)

Her greatest prize was a Rivet Gun she had gotten from a dead Rosie, and a heavy Anchor on a long, thick chain that she wielded with deadly efficiency. Both hung from her tank, when she moved around outside, they hung from a special harness she had also made.

But for all of her happiness when killing Splicers and Brutes, and gathering more ADAM, she was still lonely. Her Daddy was dead. She was alone.

She heard the Little Sister speaking to someone coming long before she saw them. She didn't care what this Little Sister saw, or this person. It couldn't have been a Splicer, they would have killed her quickly, and taken her ADAM for themselves. And it wasn't a Big Daddy, as she couldn't hear the heavy thumping footfalls she remembered her own Daddy having. As she turned around to chuck another piece of statue at a wall with her Telekinesis, she saw something interesting. A person with black hair, and wearing a blue dress.

Hana gave a small screech of curiosity towards the Little Sister guiding this newcomer to Rapture. The lady the Sister was escorting looked towards her as they entered the section she was currently destroying.

"I was told to come find you. I have a message from Dr. Tenenbaum. She wanted me to tell you that Daddy is coming home." The strange lady said.

Hana dropped the piece of statue she had. Daddy was coming home. She would see Daddy again. She had to know if this was true, but to do so she had to go and find out. So, she did something she hadn't tried in years.

"Take...me...too...Daddy." She finally gets out, her voice rough from not having used it for a long time, and due to the voice modulator that makes it much harder to speak.

Omega awoke to bright light, and a fuzzy memory. He remembered he had been killed, and knew he had therefore been dead, obviously. He now wondered why he was alive again. What was going on? As his vision cleared, he looked around to see that he had awoken in a Vita-Chamber. He was confused.

The Vita-Chamber opened, and he stepped out, looking and seeing himself surrounded by multiple people, and one being who looked similar to him, but he could tell was special to him somehow. He couldn't tell how, but he felt a connection to this being in a suit like him. Looking at one person he knew, Dr. Tenenbaum, he groaned.

"Omega, it's good to see you again. I'm sorry for what happened, even if it wasn't my fault. But now's not the time. These people need your help, along with your Little Sister, or should I say, Big Sisters, help." She points to the being who is like me. She said it was my Little one, but how? The being spoke, raspy and harsh, as though they had a punctured larynx.

"Daddy? Is...it...you?" it says. That voice. It's so similar to Hana's. Is it her? He groans out a whale's song, and the being, Hana, screeches in reply.

"Daddy! It's you!" and rushes and hugs Omega. Omega hugs his little one back. He has missed her, in his death.

"While this is touching, we do have some things to do before we take you to your new world." The blond man says.

"Quit right brother. We have to get them ready, tell them what's going on, get them prepared for the new adventure that awaits them." The blond woman says.

"They are right. We need to do some things before we send you on your way. Omega, Hana, we need you to help a group of people in another world. They are trying to find a treasure, a thing called One Piece. The problem is, they will be facing enemies that will try to kill them or capture them every step of the way. The only problem is, we can't send you to the beginning, when this adventure started. But, we can send you to them at a point where they will meet you. But first, we need to get your equipment fixed." Says the pretty young lady in a blue dress.

"What do you need from me?" Dr. Tenenbaum says. The girl turns to her.

"If you can, get them as much ammunition as possible for their weapons. We can take care of the rest. Omega, my name is Elizabeth. These two are Rosalind and Robert Lutece. As I said, you will be going to help a group of people find a treasure. Actually, you are going to protect them as best you can while helping them. It won't be easy, and there are going to be some low points in helping them. But for now, they will need your help saving one of their friends. When we send you, it will be about two months before they reach you. That way, you can establish yourselves in the world. Now, before you go, I need you tools and weapons." Elizabeth says. Omega groans, and reluctantly hands over his Rivet Gun, Bolt Gun, shotgun, and drill.

Elizabeth hands them to Robert, and he turns around for a moment, before turning around again.

"There you go. Now you don't have to worry too much about reloading. Your Rivet gun and Bolt gun don't need to be reloaded, and your drill will now be much easier to use, since it will take from your dive pack for fuel. You will still have to manually reload your shotgun though, but the pocket dimension that holds your ammo should help immensely since you have no other pockets on you that can hold ammunition. Now, I need to see your daughter's Rivet gun." He says, handing Omega his equipment. Elizabeth helped him secure it to himself.

"The pocket for your shotgun ammo can be accessed by reaching to your hip with this pocket,"she says, pointing to a small pouch on Omega's left hip, just behind where he attaches the shotgun to his belt. "Just reach for it, and it will give you two shells for your weapon. To store any ammunition you get for your weapons, which will have to be something you will have to figure out how to get, you can store by placing them in that pouch. As Robert said, you no longer have to reload your Rivet and Bolt guns. They automatically reload by pulling the ammunition from the small subspace pocket that the pouch leads to. The drill is now able to take a hose from your pack and use it to fuel the drill. The shotgun needs to still be reloaded manually." Elizabeth told Omega. As she finished helping him attach his weapons to his sides, he turned to see Hana being given her Rivet gun back.

"There, now you should be able to use that with your plasmids as well, and not melt the weapon, or freeze it's internal components, or any other problem that might have arisen from using plasmids through it. Also, it now has the same abilities as your father's Rivet gun. You don't have to reload it. You will have to find a way to obtain ammo for it though. Same with your father and all his weapons." Hana nods.

"Daddy...ready?" Hana asks. Omega groans an affirmative. Elizabeth nods to the Lutece twins, and they move away, towards where the tear originally appeared in the office.

"Again, it will be two months before the group you need to protect arrives. Their name is the Strawhat Pirates. The world will know of you two, and what you are, but only in legend. You will be known by a few, which will be more apparent when you arrive in the new world. But I've said enough. Go, and protect them as best you can." Elizabeth finished, before a tear opened in front of them, showing a massive city on island, being swamped by massive waves.

"Water 7, shipbuilding paradise. The waves crashing down are part of a high tide event called Aqua Laguna that swamps the lower levels of the city, constantly making it sink a little more each time. I will be placing you here. The Straw Hat Pirates will be here in two months time, and will have to save one of their members, Nico Robin. You will help them, and then join the crew, and protect them. However, in roughly one month time, you will all be separated, and will all meet again after two years. Who you go with for those two years is up to you, but do not try and return before then. You won't find anyone. Good luck." Elizabeth says. Hana nods, and she heads through the tear. She is immediately struck by a wave, and uses her telekinesis to make the water move around her.

As Omega prepared to step through the tear, Brigid Tenenbaum stopped him, and he turned to her.

"Omega, you may not remember me, but please, take care of our daughter. She broke when you died, and I watched her as she was turned into a Big Sister. Don't lose her again." Omega was shocked, but he couldn't show it. He knew his Little one was special to him in more ways than one, but this made sense. He looked at Dr. Tenenbaum, and he gave a whale's goodbye, and affirmation to her plea, before stepping through the tear.

As it closed behind him, Dr. Tenenbaum was happy. She had lost her husband and daughter, for a third time, she thought morbidly, but she was happy.

She had finally saved her daughter, and she knew that the two of them would keep the Straw Hat's safe.

The citizens of Water 7 were confused upon their return to the island city. They had come back to the usual destruction, but as they moved to pick up the pieces that had broken, they found two strange beings.

They were both large beings, one being bigger than the other, with a less distinctive feminine shape and gate. They were cleaning the Galley-La Docks, specifically its most famous, Dock One. The massive steel beams that made up parts of the shipyard's cranes were lifted by the massive being, and when it was in place, the smaller female one would shoot her gun at it, and the pieces were anchored into place, much sturdier than they were before Aqua Laguna.

When the shipwrights of the Galley-La Company tried to confront the two strange beings, the smaller of the two would stop them. Either by flinging balls of fire at them, or lifting objects and throwing them at them, or shooting at them with her weapon.

Finally, Iceburg arrived. When he saw the amount of work the two beings had done to his company's best dockyard, he was impressed. He then started to approach the two beings, as they had stopped. When the smaller one saw him, it turned to him. He stopped several yards from them, and spoke.

"Hello. My name's Iceburg. I am the Mayor of this city, and the owner of the company this dockyard belongs too. I just would like to say that I am grateful for what you have done to shore up the yard, and fix up my city during the Aqua Laguna. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to offer you a job of helping repair Water 7. You would earn 500 per hour, and would have a place to sleep at night. However, it would require you to work with the people of my company, and not attack them, or the citizens. Pirates that attack are fine, but please, try not to hurt civilians." Iceburg says, hoping that the two beings understand him.

The smaller of the two beings looks at the larger, before looking back. It then reaches up to its helmet, and takes it off. Iceburg is shocked, and slightly mortified, by what he sees.

The woman's face is a pallid grey, as if she had not seen sunlight in her life. Her eyes glowed a slight yellow. But the most shocking part was that despite those features, she was beautiful. She had black hair, cut shoulder length, and fair lips. Her face is angular, and her eyes are acorn shaped. She was beautiful. She opened her mouth to speak, and it pained him to hear it coming from such a pretty face.

"We… accept. I am… Hana. He… Big Daddy. He… Omega." She said. Iceburg was intrigued.

"I assume those are your names? Well, then, I welcome you two to Water 7. I hope you will enjoy helping us, and thank you again for all you have done. Later, I will have Paulie show you to a place where you two can sleep." The girl, Hana, shakes her head.

"We...don't...sleep. We will... continue working." She then placed her helmet back on, and then turned to leap onto the top of one of the houses nearby, shocking most of the men and women nearby. Omega then groaned a loud, agonized sound coming from him. Iceburg couldn't help but feel as if he had asked the woman a question.

She then pointed, and started to move off towards the direction she had pointed. The large being, a Big Daddy, Omega, as Hana had called it, followed along, his footsteps sounding like slabs of metal being dropped from on high. Each step slightly broke the street, not enough to be a problem, but noticeable.

Iceburg let them go. He turned to his men.

"Peepley, Tilestone, follow them and see where they are going. After, report back. Don't interfere." He turned back towards the direction the two went, and thought to himself. 'Those two are going to change history. How though, remains to be seen.'
