So for those of you that don't follow me on instagram yet, wiinterskurt, I put a question box on one of my stories a while ago and asked people to ask whatever they'd like to know about Eric & Brian. Mostly my ibfs reacted but also a few irls did, so this was very fun to write. There are about 1 or 2 names in here of my ibfs, but nothing that they haven't put in their insta bio yet. My name is also in here lol, for those of you who only know me as Chi or that don't yet, my name is Chimène. I mostly go by Chi though on the internet, my friends dubbed me as Chi and I just went with it lol. Anyway, have fun reading & I hope you enjoy! :)

(Fun fact; Hold me now is actually my favorite song (together with I want it that way) but it reminds me so much of them while & during the break up that I decided it's also their song.)

- Who made the first move?

Surprisingly, Eric was.

He'd planned it all weeks before, but barely got the words out when it was finally the time. Katherin was the one who helped him out of his embarrassing word stumble, asking Brian straight up out for a date. For a few moments the brunet had been confused, wasn't she gay? Why was she asking him out then? But Eric hit bullseye and unknowingly answered all of the questions wondering around his mind when he spoke up again. "With me?" was all Eric could say without getting nervous, and silently cursed himself for the insecurity behind it. Why was he so nervous?, Brian was his best friend, there was nothing to worry about. Although, of course, this could go horribly wrong and Brian would never want to speak with him ever again.

Apparently, there was a lot on the line to lose for the blond.

Luckily, he didn't have to worry about dealing with any kind of pain though, Brian answered his question with a whole hearted "Yes, I'd love to." and a 1000 watt smile on his face.

- Who said 'I love you' first?

The blond used to wear his heart on his sleeve, (and still does around Brian, he's the only one to know how to unlock the cage surrounding it), so it was only logical he was the one who let the words leave his lips. It had been completely unplanned, and Eric was slightly stunned he'd really said it when the words where out in the open air, but looking back at it, it couldn't have been more perfect.

Funnily enough, Brian had no way to escape anyway if he didn't like Eric's confession.

They were high up in air, and had a beautiful view of the city, although Brian found Eric's shoulder a prettier view, a much more comforting one that is. The Ferris wheel hadn't been his choice to go on, but the blond's attempts at persuading him to had worked and soon he found himself on top of the world. So much for staying on the ground together with his fear of heights, god knew Brian was already coming up with a way to get his boyfriend back.

- Whose mother-in-law is worse?

Eric only met his mother-in-law once, and wasn't really that fond of her. Brian had cringed every time his mom said the words 'best friend' before she introduced Eric to others at his birthday party, but had given up on correcting her. Eric would shake their hands before politely pointing out he was, in fact, Brian's boyfriend actually and loved him very much. Some of the Anderson family members shot him a disgusted look and instantly took their hand back as if it were on fire. Brian looked at the blond apologetically every time it happened, but Eric ignored all of their horrible comments and never let it destroy his pride to be a couple with Brian.

- Who's the better cook in the relationship?

Definitely Brian, Eric has a secret ability to light the kitchen on fire even when boiling an egg – the main reason why Brian banned him from the kitchen. He'd like it if Eric stays as far away from the kitchen as possible. The poor blond can barely make a nice cup of coffee without making a mess, which is why he either goes to Starbucks or any local coffee shop, or he lets Brian do the job for him. He does so happily though, as long as their kitchen still stands Brian can breathe without feeling anxious.

- To what song would they slow dance at late at night with candles all around?

It was either 'Hold me now' by Johnny Logan, or their own 'Come what may' stage duet. When they chose the latter, they'd softly sing along with the tunes coming from the living room speakers. Back in high school they sang it when they were broken up, but it didn't stop them from absolutely killing the performance as there was not a dry eye be seen in both the audience and their friends backstage. They'd been the only one to notice the tears in their eyes though, but never pointed it out after. It was their little secret, and weren't prepared to share it with anyone else.

- If they were shipped off to a deserted island what would they bring? (They can't bring each other or the same thing)

Eric would bring his dancing shoes, most definitely, although Brian would poke fun at him for that. The brunet wouldn't reveal what he brought though, so Eric took the job upon himself to find out. He wasn't that surprised when he did, but didn't dare mentioning his findings to his boyfriend. There were probably a lot of reasons why Brian kept it a secret, and Eric figured he should wait until he was ready to tell him about it instead of forcing him to talk about it. Eric remembered his boyfriend talking about it, the picture in a used frame, and wasn't surprised when he said it was his most priced possession. There was a little boy with brunet curls visible in the picture, but he was ripped apart from the 3 other people, as if he didn't belong in the family anymore. The little girl was laughing along with her brother, and their mother looked down on them with a smile on her face. The grown man stood up high in his suit, proud of his job and what kind of a man it shaped him into. He'd always hoped his little boy would want to be like him, a well known man that was the main income of the family, providing them of food and a house above their heads. Except the boy never wanted to be like him, a straight man who was proud of his job and with a stable family at home. He was different, and it was what caused the man to abandon him and force him to leave the family at the young age of 17 years old. The boy had cried, tried explaining that he was still the little boy he once was and the man raised him to be. He just liked boys, not girls like he was 'supposed' to. The little detail apparently mattered a lot to his mother and father, as he stood on their porch with a packed suitcase next to him not an hour later.

Brian barely recognized his younger happy self in the picture, but it brought a lot of comforting memories with it, so he took it everywhere he went.

- Who's more likely to kill a child? (Kerry wtf? Are you okay girl?)

First of all, Brian would like to know if you're okay and healthy, Kerry. Eric would tell him it's not that weird of a questions, which makes Brian look questionably at him, silently wondering if his husband isn't a secret serial killer or psychopath. But to answer the question that landed Eric in a very awkward position with his favorite brunet, Kerry, both would. Brian is a doctor, and while he loves his job and couldn't be more grateful to help people recover on a daily basis, sometimes the hard parts eat his mind away. Occasionally, there's yet another baby born dead, or sometimes a child gives up right underneath his fingers on the operation table.

For Eric it's quite the same, his job is critical and mainly designed to help people. There are times where it goes wrong, and although it's hard for the entire team, it's part of the job. The blond can't stop blaming himself for it though, even when it wasn't directly his fault. A bunch of unhealthy amounts of coffee does wonders to stay awake, but it doesn't lock away the fatigue and unfocused eyes. Missing a clue or slight detail can end in tears and heartbreak, Eric learned it the hard way.

Brian still wonders if you're mentally stable though, he advises you to show up at the appointment with one of his colleagues. He made one for you, just to be sure.

- If I, Chimène, had the choice, who would I rather be best friends with?

This is a really hard one, dammit. To be honest, this question never even crossed my mind, but now that I think about I can barely make a choice. But after some thinking, I made one.

Brian Anderson.

Probably, at least.

I think we'd go better together than me and Eric. We'd cause a lot of trouble and messes we wouldn't be able to explain. Chaotic besties, at last. Eric is too much like me, and even though I based both Brian and him on different parts of me, Eric's personality is more similar to mine than Brian's. We'd crash too much, too many arguments and disagreements there probably. While with the brunet it'd be more peaceful and fun. We're both very loyal, (well I like to think I am…), and care a lot for the people we love. Hufflepuff's, if you might say, although I'm more of a Ravenclaw. But I'm sure I'd become friends with Eric through Brian though, he'd introduce us and we'd hit it off right away! But to come back to my original answer, Brian is most like the people who are my closest friends right now, and I'm sure he'd love to be my friend, wouldn't you, Brian?

(A faint 'Yes! Absolutely, sweetheart.' can be heard in the distance as I'm writing this. Although I'm not sure if it's not just my imagination playing tricks on me.)

- Who is the first one to get jealous?

Brian.

It's simple stuff that sets him off though, like just a pretty cute girl smiling at Eric in the wrong way makes his anger bubble up in his chest. He'll lay a protective arm around the blond's waist, Eric calls it a possessive arm though, but he doesn't seem to mind it that much. Eric would smile knowingly at his boyfriend, and hoped no one could read minds around him while silently hoped it'd mean some hot sex when they came home. That's also one of the reasons why Eric loves to get him jealous, although he'd never say it out loud. He loved it when Brian called the blond his and would get all rough and hard on him, but would rather be found dead than confess it to him.

Brian secretly knew though, and the smirk on his lips never left as he pounded in Eric.

- Who's the most insecure?

While Brian is the one who suffers most of depression and constant anxiety, Eric also has his insecure moments. Being a professional dancer is nice and Eric absolutely loves it, but it gets tiring from time to time. Moments when his insecurity kicks in happen more often than not and have different causes. There's a lot of pressure resting on his shoulders to perform right and absolutely outstanding, although it's mostly the voices in his head that bother him. While everyone expects Brian to be, Chloë is actually the one to ground Eric in those moments. Knowing her dance partners next move had always been one of her best features, and while it definitely paid off when dancing, it also helped her to get through Eric's tough armor.

She knows it's the pressure that comes with being a dancer at such a high level, but kept saying Eric had nothing to worry about. While Chloë also was an amazing dancer, Eric simply outshined her when dancing solo. They were at the top of their game together, but the blond raised the bar to a much higher level when he danced on his own. He was simply breathtaking and mesmerizing to look at, and Chloë always felt honored she was able to call Eric her partner and friend.

- What's their favorite song?

This one is quite funny to be honest. While Eric has one that reminds him of Brian, his boyfriend just loves to scream along with his.

'Just the way you are.' of Billy Joel is Eric's favorite by far. The lyrics remind him of Brian, and he can't stop thinking about him when he listens to it. One time, the blond even sung it for his boyfriend, just the two of them sitting on his bed with a guitar, and he had Brian sobbing by the end of it.

Brian's though, isn't one that holds sentimental worth. 'I want it that way.´ of Backstreet Boys is his absolute favorite. He knows all the lyrics, and he can listen to it on repeat for days. The first time the brunet heard it, he actually did. Eric loves to watch him as he screams along with the song, knowing full well how beautiful his boyfriend can sing if he tries, but well past the point of pushing him to. The excitement that's in Brian's yelling has a good ring to it too, and sometimes has even Eric wondering how much a person can love a song. After thinking about it for a while, Eric will just shrug and guess his lovely boyfriend raised all the bars on that question.

- Who's the most instrumental of the two boys?

They both are, actually. While Eric is a straight up master of the piano, Brian loves his guitar all too much. They've tried learning the other how to play their instrument, but it only left them with a lot of frustration and impatience. So in the end, they gave up, but not before Eric learned every single accord of his favorite song though. He was determined to sing it to Brian while playing on a guitar, the brunet's favorite instrument, and stayed up all night until he knew it from the top of his head. The next day he'd invited Brian over to study, although both of them knew where that would end, and was a nervous wreck the rest of the day. Eric could barely concentrate in class and, successfully, ditched every time someone asked if he was feeling alright. He would answer that he was perfectly fine, thank you very much, just a bit nervous for a special performance. They'd shrug and continue their story, not paying as much attention to it anymore.

Brian absolutely loved it, but would deny he cried his eyes out if someone asked him, and from then on decided it could be one of his favorites too. The brunet liked Eric's version better than the original though, and was the one who demanded Eric would play it on their wedding a decade later.

- Brian, will you be my best friend?

After asking Brian and reminding him about it for over a week, I finally have an answer for you, Saff. Please forgive him and his short-term memory for taken so much time to come up with an answer, as it's quite a simple one. We all know our favorite brunet isn't the brightest person around, not that his boyfriend is, they're both quite a pair of idiots from time to time.

Anyway, he'd love to be your best friend. He'd be delighted to call such a sweet girl his friend.

Funnily enough, you're actually quite similar to his current best friend, Eve. Brian raises an eyebrow every time he catches you moving in sync, and even asks Eric if he sees it too. But of course, the blond doesn't notice anything and tells his boyfriend he's crazy, ("They can't be the same person, Brian. That's ridiculous. Twins would be the closest thing, but they don't share the same parents. So my only question left to ask is; are you okay?").

Brian hopes you'll go along with Eric though, as whenever he takes you out on a coffee date the blond hooks along. He knows his boyfriend is quite competitive when it comes to dancing, and even tries his best not to let all of Eric's national title wins rise to his head. Although Eric would love to dance together with you, he wouldn't want to be next in line after one of your dance performances. He can't help but notice how you're just slightly better than him, but would never admit it out loud. Eric has national titles written under his name, but both boys know you'll conquer the world in no time.
