The final buzzer sounded as Kise slammed the ball through the hoop, ending the Kaijo and Fukuda game. Kaijo, with Kise at the helm, put on a rousing show. Narrowly defeating Fukuda and their move stealing leader. The audience had been captivated and confused. The player from Fukuda Sogo Academy had been good, but violent, towards his opponents and his own teammates.

He could have been great, the girl with the midnight hair thought to herself as she sat in her seat, continuing to observe the players on the court. She had often came to games and tournaments. Sports were her thing, her hobby and what she enjoyed doing in her free time. Even if not everyone understood it. What a total waste of talent.

The girl rose from her seat and moved out of the row and towards the aisle, thinking to herself about the game. She thought about the blonde on Kaijo specifically, how his overwhelming talent couldn't keep up with his own body. How his skills seemed overflowing. He was impressive, and she could not wait to see how far he would go. He is only a first year, smiling in disbelief. She had a lot of fun basketball to watch in her high school career.

After stopping at the bathroom and checking the train schedule, the girl left the arena and headed outside. She was consumed with thoughts of the game, and how the rest of the tournament would continue, specifically the Seirin and Kaijo match. Who would win? She didn't notice who stood in front of her, impatiently waiting by the side doors of the arena.

"Watch where you're going." The boy growled. The girl stopped just before she ran into the tall boy.

"I'm sorry." She responded quickly, looking up. The boy was tall, pale and had dark hair tied back. He looked livid. She recognized him immediately. It was the move stealer from Fukuda.

"Dumb bitch." He responded, glaring at her further. She could feel the anger coming off of him in waves, it was terrifying. She saw him play, she knew he was violent on the court and she could only imagine that his violence bled into his life off the court as well.

Don't say anything stupid Sara, she reminded herself. You have no idea who this guy is or what he will do. She tried moving past him and continuing on her way when she felt a hand jump out and grab onto her arm.

"Are you ignoring me? Or just fucking stupid?" He asked as he ripped her arm back towards him, pulling her along with it. She winced, he was seriously strong and seriously angry.

"No, I'm sorry." She apologized again, heart starting to race. She became very aware that they were the only ones out there. It was dark and this was the back part of the arena. Why had she walked this way? She felt his hand squeeze around her arm even tighter, he was clearly trying to hurt her. "Ouch." She whispered involuntarily, to which the boy responded with a wicked grin. Her eyes widened when she saw that, she was in trouble. How the hell was she going to get out of this one? She started to panic. She had been in bad situations before, it tends to come with the territory when you regularly attend events solo that attract a specific crowd, rowdy males. But she had never felt this threatened before.

Her mind started to race along with her heart, she felt word vomit start to form. It won't help the situation, just shut up she thought to herself. But she couldn't stop herself, "You're really good you know, you can't be pulling stupid shit like this." She snapped her mouth shut before she could say anything else. He looked at her, shocked and confused for a moment. Where had that come from? Those feelings quickly melted into anger as he let go of her arm and wrapped his hand around her throat instead.

"Oh, so your dumb then." She barked as he squeezed. She choked and felt her hands fly up to her throat, trying to peel his grasp away from her.

"Oi, Haizaki." She heard a deep voice yell. His hands loosened a little as his eyes looked over at the voice. Sara's fingers continued to claw at the boys hand around her neck. "If you're thinking about getting revenge on Kise, forget it."

Haizaki let go of her neck and she dropped to her knees, gasping for air. "Daiki." He responded, surprised.

"If you keep quiet and leave now, I will forget about this." The deep voice responded. Sara looked up at him, she thought she recognized that voice. It was Aomine.

"If you want me to stop, you will have to stop me by force." Haizaki yelled, running towards Aomine.

Sara stood up, still working to return the air to her lungs. She saw Aomine punch Haizaki in the face, and Haizaki fell straight to the ground like a sack. Her eyes widened with surprise, she didnt expect that.

"Great, what do I do now. Well, whatever happens, happens I guess." Aomine mumbled. He turned to walk away but then stopped, glancing back toward Sara's direction. "Go home." He said, non-chalantly.

She stood there for a moment processing all that had just happened, heart still pounding and thoughts still racing. "Uh, thanks Aomine." She managed to say, gathering herself a little more before getting ready to leave.

"Hm?" He mumbled, raising an eyebrow at her. Confused as to why she knew his name.

"Oh… you don't recognize me?" She mumbled. He started at her, not an inkling of recognition nor care. "Just as well." She smiled as she turned away, walking towards the train station once again.

Aomine watched as the girl with the midnight hair walked away into the darkness. Not too bright he thought to himself. Why was she out here, in the dark, alone. And who the hell was she? He didn't recognize her, why would he? She looked like a B cup at best.
