Frank Hardy woke up in a cold Dark room, he was lying on the floor, sitting up he took in his surroundings. There were a bunch of other teenagers! All ranging in age from an African American girl around 13 to a tall Guy with brown hair around Frank's age; There was also this big guy with fur shawl; it looked like a wolf was draped over him. "Alright kids!" the big guy started "Welcome to the game!" "The game?" Frank asked. "Hold your horses Hardy, I'll explain in due time." The big guy responds. Frank didn't like how this was sounding, "How did he know my name?" Frank thought. "Once you enter the room you will be tasked to find the 5 gems" The Big Guy started, "There is a throne placed in the room, you need to dig around in the throne to find the pearls." "Wait what do you mean by dig in the throne?" Frank interrupted. "You will have to wait and see" The Big Guy responded with a mischievous smile. "But, While you are digging for the pearls you will have to avoid my buddies, If you get caught, you are out of the game, Easy right?" the Big Guy finished. "Now, Good luck kids!" He says as He opens the rock wall letting them into a room about 10ft by 7ft in the center is a different thrown with a lady in her late 40s, lots of big guards in monster attire.
"Alright, I can find the gems, do you think you guys can distract?" Frank asked the group. They all nodded in agreement. Now the problem is that the thrown with the gems is right by the one that the lady is on! Frank creeps over to the thrown to get the gems but the lady sees him and orders the guards to get him! Joe comes to Frank's aid and gets caught and tied to a pole. Frank in the meantime ducked behind a chair. "Joe! I didn't know where you were! I was worried." Frank whispered. "I'm alright Frank, Glad to see you too!" Joe responds with a smile.
They watch as others end up getting caught. A guard walks over close to where Frank is hiding but just before He sees Frank, the young African American Girl runs over and leads him away. Frank watches as she runs away from the guard and hides. A loud bell rings out and the Big Guy yells "Alright none of you got the gems, so on to round two! "They start collecting the teens that they caught and moving them to another location for the next round. Frank runs over and cuts through Joe's bounds." What are you doing?" Joe asked "They didn't catch you, get out of here!" "Not leaving you" is all Frank says.
