Crouched in the shadows Shinso moved silently through the warehouse, in the rafters on the other side was his mentor, Aizawa watching the same scene unfolding before them. Laying on the floor was a girl his age, snow white hair chopped off and laying behind her, small body covered in what looked to be her own blood. She was the student that was transferred into the same hero class as him, now 3A, but she went missing on their first day back at school. Shinso had been talking to Aizawa when the girl's mother came up to him, she had been kidnapped for a healing quirk she possessed. Like Shoto Todoroki she had two quirks, one a feline one that altered her body, and the other called regeneration.
Outside the police would get into position, signal the heroes inside through the earpieces they wore, and they would save his classmate. The plan hung on them not making a move until everything was in place, the villains knew the girl had incredible healing powers, but they might overestimate her quirk and kill her if they rushed in too soon.
"You sure you got the right one?" one of the villains demanded stomping over to the unconscious girl, she had a muzzle strapped to her face, a collar around her neck with a leash tied to a metal bar sunk into the concreate floor, and her wrist tied together. "Looks more like this one has some sort o' cat quirk."
"She's a hybrid, descended from the Khao clan." Another man answered with a shaky voice. Taking out a knife he grabbed the tip of one of her large cat ears, pulled it straight up and positioned the knife to cut the ear in half. Shinso didn't think, he tensed his body, pushed his voice changing mask into place, ready to jump down.
"Calm down Shinso." Eraser Head's voice spoke to him through the earpiece. One of the villains that had been silent excused himself and started walking among the containers in the warehouse. The man with the knife began to cut into her ear, blood spilling and turning her snow-white fur and hair a bright crimson.
"I'm close enough, my voice can reach." Shinso argued, everything in him screamed to jump down there, to stop the man from cutting all the way through her ear. But the faith he had in his mentor and teacher kept him in place, he couldn't risk ruining the plan and putting her life in danger because he couldn't control himself.
"Almost time, just a little longer." Aizawa commanded, watching closely he noticed once again the smallest of movement from the girl as they finished cutting off the top half of her ear. She wasn't unconscious after all, she could hear the heroes, so she acted the part to best suite their plans. If he hadn't noticed this, Eraser wouldn't have waited while they tortured the girl. Looking up at his student Aizawa pressed a hand onto his earpiece to give a warning but was too late.
"So, your quirk has to do with your voice?" a man said from behind Shinso appearing from the shadows, he was given no time to turn around or try to defend himself, a knife was plunged into his throat.
"Everything happened within seconds, Shinso couldn't breathe, Aizawa gave the order to commence the operation as he rushed forward, thrown daggers cutting the bonds on the girl's wrist. Another hero jumped down to her side, pulling her hands free she cut the lease herself and left the hero to deal with the men standing around her. They tried to grab a hold of her, but her body became a hybrid between human and feline. Her hands more claw like, her feet to match, her mouth filled with fangs. Digging her claws into the concreate, she left deep gashes as she propelled herself forward with inhuman speed, running on all fours.
"Shinso fell from the rafters, Aizawa almost not in time to catch his student before he hit the ground, Shinso's hands lifting to his neck, his eyes growing wide. Launching herself into the air the girl dug her claws into the man that stabbed Shinso as he came up on the teacher, howling in pain the man stumbled backwards, using him as a launching board she pushed him to the ground. Pushing Shinso's hands away and slapping Aizawa's hand she kept them from touching the knife still in his neck.
"I can heal him." She cried, tears already running down her cheeks the stupid muzzle on her face making them take a weird path but there was no time to take it off.
"The box." Aizawa commanded laying Shinso in a near by metal box, the girl climbing in on top of the boy her hands already pressing to his neck and her gold eyes starting to shine as she activated her regeneration abilities. Pulling onto the metal door Aizawa slammed it shut after throwing a lit flashlight in. They were in the middle of a quirk fight with a group of villains, for now this would be the safest place for his two students to be while she healed Shinso. Because if she couldn't save him, then no one could, no one that they could reach in time that is.
