Hello there lovely I am LoB2 and this is my first attempt at writing a Fanfiction. I'm sure I'll get better as the chapters go on and I'm super excited to share a story concept I got from reading a couple of Harry Potter Fanfictions. Please leave a review because I probably wont get much motivation without it. I plan on updating this once a weekish depending on how it feels. This is gunna be an "M" rated story because I don't want to be held back in any of the language or events that are gunna take place. I have lots of ideas for this and I'm excited to get started.

The Battle of Olympus was as good as over so many of our best warriors, my best friends have fallen. The Titan lord has been using his powers; it was evident in our sloppy fighting, no one seemed able to find a rhythm. Kronos seemed to be slowing down and speeding up time ever so slowly so that everything just doesn't feel right Chiron yells at me, "Percy go protect Olympus you're our last hope."

While taking down 3 hellhounds I shout back "I'm leaving you to die down here!"

Annabeth runs to me and says "We need to go!"

I look back sadly at my trainer. He'd always felt like a second father to me. "I will save Olympus, I swear on the River Styx," I turn and run to the elevator doors with Annabeth as the sky roars. We make it in and the elevator seems to know what to do. As soon as the doors close I burst into tears and bury my face in Annabeth's bloodied shirt. I think about everyone I've lost in just the last few years. It all started with Bianca. then losing Zoë, who while I didn't really know, just made sober up, both of the girls are reasons I am unable to stay asleep at night. It was their deaths that made me realize this was real, the gods would let us die just because some stupid prophecy said so. Then the battle of the labyrinth killed off Castor and Lee Fletcher of our campers. I didn't know any of them but it left me depressed to this day. I should've known these kids, I should've taught them better, I should've been better. Now within the last week, Selina joined Beckendorf down with Hades, and just about all of the rest of the demigods. Clarisse literally died of exhaustion after she was shrouded in the Blessing of Ares, she'd come through, in the end, thanks to Selina but now both of them were dead. Talia and her Hunters had put up a hell of a fight but going against a titan was their downfall, Hyperion kicked them away like they were a pile of leaves. I saw it out of the corner of my eye while knocking out a misled enemy demigod, the troop of deadly Girl Scouts landed right in front of me. Most of them landed in the lake unconscious to be dragged away by Will Solace's siblings, but I saw Talia, daughter of Zeus, land on the beach. When she hit the ground her neck made the most horrible sound, like an evil chiropractor that actually just killed people. I knew that instant she had died, such an ironic death. Being a child of Zeus to die from falling. I hadn't forgotten Dionysus either, I tried to save Pollux but the kid went down with a bang, he used his Dionysus heritage to his advantage and made half of the enemy half-bloods drunkenly pass out before being decapitated by a telekhine.

Annabeth seems to also be crying too, she put her hands around me. I didn't look up for a while. It struck me weird that she was so stiff, I mean sure she might have a crush on me and me on her, but this had nothing to do with that. When I finally look up I see we're just passing halfway up. I am worried now, Annabeth doesn't sound like she's crying. She's just heaving her shoulders as if she were laughing. I look up and she loses it. She bursts out laughing at me. I blush, not understanding what she's laughing at. "I guess I won't cry in front of you anymore."

"Oh my god!" She gets out, "You're such a fucking idiot"

I think to myself that isn't very much like Annabeth what is happening.

"Everyone is dead and it's all because you're so dumb," Annabeth wheezes.

"Hey," I stutter "I really tried."

She grabs at her stomach "Are you really too dumb to see," she asks when she's able to breathe again.

"I… I don't understand. What are you talking about Annabeth?"

"I'm the traitor, I'm the spy. I've played you like a fool this whole time."

"What… what are you talking about?"

"Did you really never suspect anything? I practically gave myself away every day!"

"I don't understand"

"It was my job to keep you alive until my master could destroy you," Annabeth explained

"What about our quests all the time we spend together," I beg

"What you mean when I let you bring Zeus' lighting bolt into the underworld. Or when I literally spent a week with the Titans and Luke and planned this attack on Manhattan." She sneered.

"Well fuck everything and everybody then," I say suddenly filled with rage. I look down and reach into my pocket only for Anaklusmos to be gone.

"Looking for this seaweed brain?" Annabitch cackles.

I look up to see two things pointing at me: The traitor's knife at my throat and my pen, my sword. She must've grabbed it out of my pocket when I was hugging her.

We step out of the elevator, make our way to the throne room and wait for Kronos to come up. All the while her knife, ready at a moment's notice to slice through my neck. I see Luke's figure approaching soon enough.

"My lord" She gushed

Kronos approached us with a smile that confirmed my worst fears. "So, you've come to finish the war, to kill me?" He chuckles. "Annabeth you may leave us you've served me well."

"Master you are beyond gracious," Annabeth says as she hands the Titan King my Sword. "I'll be waiting for you."

"Yes yes Annabeth, let me seal our fates and start the 2nd era of the Titans by killing this fool."

I look at Luke, my face burning with hate. How could he take everything away for his own pleasure? "Was that your plan? To take everything from me?"

Kronos looks at me as if he was inconvenienced you something in addition to my accusation, "Why would I care about you? All you were in this was a toy, a pawn in my plan to become the leader of this world. Just like Luke, he was merely a stepping stone to my true form. Then I will take that harlot waiting for me and turn her a titan and make her my unquestioning servant," He said suggestively

I look into Kronos' evil, gold eyes and I suddenly understood. "Luke!" I cry, "Luke you're the child of the prophecy."

"What are you talking about child, you're the one who has to make the choice. To stand down and preserve the Olympus to be a prison for the gods or to fight back hopelessly. So accept your prophesied fate and give up.

I didn't even listen to my grandfather. In my hands appeared the one thing that could save Olympus, Pandora's box the physical manifestation of hope. "Luke look at this," I shout as Kronos shakes his head as if to get rid of an unwanted thought, "I know you're in there somewhere."

"That is preposterous. I have complete control over this body" Kronos roared in denial but his eyes gave away that Luke was coming back in control, flickering ever so slightly to blue.

In a last-ditch attempt to bring Luke back in control I lob Pandora's Box at Luke's body knowing with my last bit of hope that somehow I've done the right thing.

Kronos' eyes were suddenly pushed away by Luke's bright hopeful blue eyes. Luke catches the box and stammers, "You still trust me?"

"Your Olympus' last hope I have to give you the choice. This whole time you were the child of the prophecy"

Luke looks away sadly and explains hurriedly, "I was led astray, I never wanted this. Only Annabeth supported Kronos; she needed more power than any mortal has ever received; everyone else just wanted their parents to recognize their existence. He's fighting back I'm doing all I can to maintain control what do you expect me to do"

"Uhh… well, I didn't think I'd get this far," I say quietly. Luke wasn't listening though he was looking down fixated on something in front of him that wasn't me. So I look down and don't believe my eyes. Hestia is there, calm as day by the embers of the once-great fire of Olympus. There are 3 little coals left, but she didn't seem so preoccupied with them. She was looking at Luke, having a silent conversation. That I'm sure would either save or destroy the world as we know it.

Luke's eyes suddenly split vertically, the. right sides of his eyes turned golden, but not an evil golden it's almost as if they were lit aflame by a fire of comfort. And the other sides blue in a daze remembering a time long past. "I know what I must do. Percy it's been an honor seeing you in this timeline. And it will be an honor fighting alongside you in the next."

"What are you saying, Luke?" I shouted above a wind that came from nowhere.

Hestia beckons both of us close, Luke dropped Riptide and Backbiter and I just step forward in awe. "You both are the most courageous demigods this world has ever seen if anyone deserves a second chance it's you two," she said lovingly as she gave us a hug.

I feel a warmth spread through my body and I'm sure Luke felt it too because his eyes looked nicer when stepped back.

Then the wind turned into a tornado as if the room around us was going somewhere. I was thrown off my feet and seemed to fall through the floor. The last thing I saw was Kronos' spirit coming out of Luke's body screaming "This wasn't how this was supposed to end!"
