Hunter was sitting in his room reading idw transformers comics
"I love these comics!" Hunter said to himself
Bluey then entered to room
"Hey kid! What are you doing?" Bluey asked happily
"Nothing mum just reading my comics!" Said hunter
"Oh ok! Well some new people moved in down the street!" Said bluey
"Oh wow!" Said hunter as he put a bookmark in his comic and got up
"Wanna go meet them? We are about to go right now!" Said bluey
"Yeah!" Said hunter excitedly as he followed bluey downstairs outside
"this neighborhood has grown so big!" Said bluey happily
"It sure has!" Said Jean luc
They approached the nearby house with the moving truck outside
There was a beige lab and his son unloading the truck
They noticed bluey,hunter and Jean
"Oh hello there!" Dann said in his texan accent happily waving
"Hi!" Said Jean as he walked up to dann
"The names dann hill!" Said dann
"Jean luc monsieur! And this is my wife bluey and my son hunter!" Said Jean as he shook dann's hand and introduced
"Pleasure to meet you all!" Said dann as he shook bluey and hunter's hands.
The pup was still shyly hiding behind his dad
"Oh and this is my son Willy!" Said dann
"Hi" Willy said shyly
"Hi! My name is hunter!" Said hunter excitedly as Willy approached him
"My name is Willy." Said Willy as he shook hunter's hand
Willy then looked up at the tall and kind of intimidating black lab around the same height as dann and the shorter and kinder looking blue heeler
"Hi there!" Said Jean as he knelt down to hunter and willy's level
"'my name is Jean luc. I'm a policeman!" Said Jean as he shook the shy pup's hand
"That's cool!" Said Willy opening up a little bit
"Your a cop?" Dann asked
"Yup he works for the lapd!" Said bluey
"Over 10 years on the force!" Said Jean
"I'm was a trooper in the south but I transferred out here! So I'm going into chp now!" Dann explained
"Another cop in the neighborhood is fine by me!" Said Jean
After some talking Jean and bluey agreed to help dann unpack as hunter decided to introduce Willy to all the other kids!
"So what's your story?" Hunter asked
"I was born in Medina county Texas. And my dad is a state trooper. We came out here because my dad transferred to chp and we moved out here." Said Willy
"Willy doesn't sound like a Texan name!" Said hunter
"Yeah. My mom was from England. Bless her soul" said Willy
"Oh I'm sorry for your loss" said hunter realizing what he meant
"Thank you. But anyway who are we gonna meet first?" Willy asked
"We are gonna meet my 2 cousins muffin and socks! And trust me they are super nice!" Hunter explained as they approached their home
Hunter then knocked
Stripe answered
"Oh hey there hunter! And who's this?" Stripe asked
"This here is Willy! He's new to the neighborhood!" Said hunter
"Nice to meet you mate! My name is stripe and I'm hunter's uncle!" Said stripe as he shook the pup's hand
"Nice to meet you sir." Said Willy
"Would you like to come in?" Stripe asked kindly
"Sure!" Said hunter
Willy walked into the house and saw a grey and white heeler waking around and she noticed Willy and hunter
"Oh hello there!" Said trixie
"Hey aunt trixie this is Willy he is new to the neighborhood!" Said hunter
"Pleasure to meet you sweetheart!" Said trixie kindly As she shook the boy's hand
Then he saw 2 other healers come down the stairs.
One had the same colors of trixie but a different pattern and the other the colors of stripe.
And when they saw hunter and Willy their small smiles turned into large grins
"PUPPIES!!!!" The girls exclaimed happily as they began to stampede downstairs
"I'd run..." said trixie
Willy and hunter both ran giggling
"Come back here hunter and new pup!" Muffin yelled as they pursued Willy and hunter around the house
"His name is Willy!" Hunter yelled as he did a barrel role away from socks
"Well then Willy is about the meet the tickle monsters!" Said muffin as she grabbed Willy and began to tickle him causing him to laugh
"Willy!" Hunter yelled dramatically as he was grabbed by socks and also tickled
After some playing socks and muffin decided to ease off
"So then sweetie where are you from?" Socks asked
"I'm from Texas!" Said Willy
"That's awesome!" Said muffin
"What kind of pup are you honey?" Muffin asked
"I'm a beige lab!" Said Willy happy that more people want to know about him
"That's cool my dad is a black lab!" Said hunter
"He seems really nice!" Said Willy
"Yeah! He is! But I could tell you were a little intimidated by him! You don't need to be! He's a lab like you! You'll be as tall as him one day!" Said hunter
"I know! I can tell him and my dad will get along well!" Said Willy
"What are your interests?" Socks asked
"Well I'm into law enforcement,firearms,cars,models,Texas stuff and some other similar things!" Said Willy
"Very interesting!" Said trixie
"How old are ya mate?" Stripe asked
"I'm 6 sir" said Willy
"Your Almost hunter's age!" Said muffin
"I'm 10!" Said hunter
"I'm almost 10 a few more months" said Willy
"That's cool! Anyway let's go meet some more people! We'll be back guys!" Said hunter as him and Willy began to leave
"Ok then guys come back soon!" Said trixie
"See you soon!" Said socks
They then walked toward Max's house
"Who's house is this?" Willy asked
"My cousin Max's well not my biological cousin but we are pretty much cousins!" Hunter explained
"Oh ok!" Said max
"Fair warning him and his dad do not stop talking about sheep!" Said hunter with a chuckle
"Speakin of animals what is your favorite animal? My favorite is horses!" Said Willy
"Mine is turtles! My parents say I'm a little to obsessed with them." Said hunter
Willy and hunter chucked as they approached Max's house
Hunter knocked
A tall female Dalmatian answered
"Oh hello hunter" the Dalmatian said with a soft and gentle tone with a small smile
"Hi aunt Chloe! This here is Willy!" Said hunter and Willy stepped forward
"hello there! Name is Chloe" Chloe said softly shaking the boy's hand
"Hello ma'm pleasure to meet you." Said Willy respectfully
Her kind and gentle demeanor calmed willy's nerves
"He's new to the neighborhood!" Said hunter
"Come in!" Said Chloe
When they entered the house's atmosphere was very relaxed
"Where's max and Mackenzie?" Hunter asked
"Their hanging out in the study! Anyway boys I'll be in the living room if you need me!" Said Chloe
"Oh ok then!" Said hunter as him and Willy headed upstairs
They then walked up to 2 big doors on the upstairs hallway
Hunter knocked
"Come in!" A voice called in
When they entered the nice office took Willy by surprise
There was a border collie sitting at central desk
And a teen pup sitting on armchair on the side of the office
"Oh hello!" Said Mackenzie
"Hey uncle Mackenzie! Here is my new friend Willy he just moved in across the street!" Said hunter
"Hello!" Said max
"Hi there!" Said Willy
"What brings you to our neighborhood buddy?" Mackenzie asked as he got up and shook willy's hand
"Me and my dad came to California after he got a chance to transfer to chp due to budget cuts in the Texas dps." Willy explained
"That's nice!" Said max
"Your dad is a trooper?" Mackenzie asked
"Yup!" Said Willy
"That's nice I'm a sheriff's deputy!" Said Mackenzie
"That's awesome!" Said Willy excitedly
"Yeah a lot of people on this street are cops! When Australia collapsed and the economic advance of 2005 made l.a one of the best places to go our families took as many good opportunities! Started restaurants,business,went into real estate and of course law enforcement and other emergency services! Law enforcement was one of the biggest and best paying govt jobs!" Max explained
"That's nice! I'm sorry to hear about Australia! I guess that explains all of your accents!" Said Willy
"Thank you! Well technically I'm from New Zealand but I lived in Australia for pretty much my whole childhood!" Said Mackenzie
"I heard New Zealand is nice!" Said Willy
"Yeah we plan to go visit there one day!" Said max
"I miss Texas." Said Willy
"It's ok. I feel the same way about Australia sometimes." Said Mackenzie as he put his paw on willy's shoulder
"And don't worry Texas ain't goin nowhere!" Said max
"I know It's just I've lived there my whole life and California feels so much different!" Said Willy
"I understand buddy! But anyway besides that tell us more about you!" Said Mackenzie
"Well I'm a beige lab and my favorite subject is law enforcement and vehicles! I even draw them!" Said Willy
"That's awesome!" Said Mackenzie
"Hey want to see my room?" Max asked
"Sure!" Said Willy
"Ok dad be right back!" Said max as him,hunter and Willy headed to the room!
When they entered Willy was amazed by the clean and organized room! There were posters on the wall! Like some with a bunch of colorful robots on them and some old school marine corps posters! Willy is also interested in old military history!
"Those are some nice old marine corps posters!" Said Willy
"Yeah me and my dad went to a army surplus and we got some of these! Some of these date back to the world wars!" Said max
"That's cool to hear!" Said Willy
He then saw the massive shelf full of transformers figures! Old and new! Masterpiece Optimus prime in the center and on the top shelves 2 massive robots white,black and red and a black and purple dinosaur
"You have quite the collection of transformers! Who are those big ones on top?" Willy asked fascinated with the collection
"That's metroplex and trypticon! They turn into cities!" Said max
"That's absolutely insane!" Said Willy
"They weren't cheap!" Said Mackenzie with a chuckle as he stood in the doorway
"I could tell!" Said Willy
"Yeah he gets his love of tf from me! When he was a little little pup I passed my old generation 1 and beast wars collection on to him and he has taken care of them ever since!" Said Mackenzie
"Transformers are cool! But I'm more into models!" Said Willy
"That's nice! Me and hunter both have large collections!" Said max
"But hey it's real nice to have you here in the neighborhood you'll fit in perfectly!" Said Mackenzie
"Thank you sir!" Said Willy happy that people are so hospitable and kind. Just like in rural Texas.
After some time of hanging out at Max's house they decided to go meet some other people such as destiny,snickers,and many many others!
"Hey let's go check on the woggles!" Said hunter
"Woggles?!" Willy asked with a laugh
"Oh yeah me and max call the grown ups woggles! It's because we like the little wrestler hornswoggle! And we call the grown ups woggles for some odd reason!" Hunter explained with a chuckle
"Well that's strange!" Said Willy
"We are very strange individuals." Hunter said calmly
They soon headed back to willy's new house where jean,bluey and dann were setting things up inside. In the living room above the tv was a huge picture of Texas and next to it was pictures of dann's wife.
He truly felt at home!
"Thank ya'll for helping me!" Said dann
"No problem we're all family on this street!" Said Jean
"If you ever need help with anything we're here!" Said bluey
Willy and Dann felt accepted and loved by the community! Life was gonna be simple and safe here!
