A/N: I don't own any Puppet Master characters, they belong to Full Moon Features and Charles Band. I do however own Archer, Elizabeth and Wildcard, Lucy and Mystic and as normal when the puppets speak it will be in italics.
I also own Ajax and the mysterious figure at the start of the chapter.
Also thank you Cryptic for letting me use Jinkx and Irya in this story.
Deep in a realm not crossed by mortals a lone figure stood watching a pool of liquid.
It kept itself hidden from view as with a crack of lightning it created four strange creatures.
"The portal to the upper realm has been reopened. You will wait until they return." The figure ordered.
The creatures nodded before disappearing.
"Are you sure this is wise Sir? You remember what happened when your grandfather tried to defeat them." A voice asked.
The figure growled turning to face his loyal servant Ajax.
Ajax stood half the size of his master. He had black skin, most of his body was hidden under the grey cape leaving his face the only thing uncovered.
He had a pair of deer like antlers upon his head and hollow piercing white eyes.
"I am very much aware of his failings, but unlike him I have been planning this for years." The figure spoke, the pool rippling as an image of four people appeared.
"Separate these four from the others and they will fall like dominoes." He chuckled.
….
On earth deep in a hidden area of Romania a young woman was up early and drawing in a book.
Her name was Elizabeth Toulon, the last living member of the Toulon family.
She brushed some of her raven hair out of her face, her green eyes making sure her drawings had no mistakes.
She smiled nodding at her progress.
Over the past few weeks since being put on bed rest after being released from hospital she had spent most of her time drawing the various Puppets that her Great-great-grandfather had created.
Once she had finished the current page she leant back closing her eyes.
She'd certainly been through the wars over the last few months.
First of all she had been on the run from a man hellbent on killing her family. Elizabeth being the last of Toulon's bloodline. Then being led to the person who had the rest of her family's puppets and being offered protection.
She frowned being reminded of one of the puppets in her possession trying to turn the others against their master, wanting full control of the puppets.
Because of him Blade, the leader of Toulon's puppets had received near fatal wounds and Six Shooter had lost an arm though had since been repaired by her.
Blade however still had a way to go before he would be fully repaired. She decided it would be safer to wait until his master's return before he was woken up.
She sighed, reflecting on the fact that both she and their master, a woman called Jinkx Lupei was attacked because of Mephisto. He had possessed a smaller puppet to attack her, landing her in the hospital.
She'd only just learned he had kidnapped Decapitron and Leech Woman with the help of another man and had almost killed Jinkx when she went to get them back.
And now here they were weeks later.
Mephisto and the man after her were dead, Jinkx was recovering in California and her sister Irya Lupei had taken over as a temporary caretaker of the puppets.
Elizabeth felt lucky that they were able to make a new elixir for the puppets.
She let herself smile hearing their footsteps outside the door.
She looked over at the four staying in her room.
The first was Khan, an old oriental puppet who often sat by the window of her room to keep watch on the outside world.
On a desk in front of her both Decapitron and Leech Woman were peacefully resting.
Lastly there was Mystic, a puppet who had not originated from her family.
She was saved from a man who when he gained possession of the puppets would torture them and use their elixir for experiments.
Mystic was the result of one of those experiments.
She was a rather muscular puppet, clearly based on Pinhead. She was wearing a tacky red t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and a blue and white pair of trainers. She had amber eyes and thick brown hair that ended by her shoulders.
Since Elizabeth had found out she was now unable to have children she had pretty much adopted Mystic as her own.
Right now Mystic was fast asleep on a makeshift bed on the bedside table.
Elizabeth carefully put the book which had written on the front the words Elizabeth's Book of Puppets in a drawer before allowing herself to close her eyes and drift back off to sleep.
