The wrong charming
Apple/darling
The evil queen had been sealed back into the mirror verse and all was right at ever after high
Except it wasn't because the usually calm and perfect princess apple white ,was in her room currently freaking out.
Why was apple freaking out you may ask?
Well it's because her story isn't what she thought it was, it wasn't picture perfect and straight forward ,it wasn't as easy as marrying daring charming and producing children after high school finished to carry on her legacy of being Snow White.
No the thing that made it complicated was
Darings kiss hadn't worked when it needed to he WASN'T her Prince Charming like everyone thought.
That in itself was bad enough but to make it worse it appeared that the person she was destined to be saved by was none other than darings younger sibling darling charming.
His SISTER!
Her destiny had been messed up and now she had the wrong charming bonded to her and everything was complicated.
Raven was in hers and apples shared dorm room watching the blonde in concern and slight amusement over her freak out. Quirking an eyebrow she spoke bringing apple back from her frantic musings.
"Are you okay apple"? The future dark queen asked the other princess.
"No I'm not okay raven I'm freaking out"
"Why"?
Apple frowned before responding
"What do you mean why"?
"I mean why aren you freaking out about this." Raven clarified to which apple exploded her reply
"Because my destiny is all messed up and I can't deal with that."
"And?" Was ravens mercurial reply given her stance on the whole predetermined destiny thing.
"Well for starters I have the wrong bloody charming bonded to me now"
Ravens eyebrows raised at the use of the word bloody as apple rarely swore, preferring to be prim proper and perfect.
"Well I mean you could do a lot worse than darling charming" raven said off handedly as if considering the pros and cons of darling charming being bonded to you
"But she's a girl" apple said her voice getting higher and shriller.
"Do you have a problem with same sex people?" Raven asked her tone getting icy causing apple to back track quickly.
"No,no you know I absolutely support you and our friends 100% in your relationships with each other" apple said waving her hands frantically to which raven calmed down.
"But" she hinted trying to get apple to continue
"But I'm not gay" apple blurted quickly before red started tinting her cheeks.
At least I don't think I am she thought to herself being confused on where THAT came from.
Raven got up from her seat on her bed that she'd been sitting on and walked over to the now frowning future Snow White,placing a hand on her shoulder in comfort getting the other girl to look at her smiling when she did so.
"Look apple I'm not going to tell you it's going to be easy okay? All I'm going to. Say is think about it and see how you feel."
Apple nodded quirking her lips at raven in a timid smile.
Raven removed her hand smiled back and then checked her phone.
"I gotta go cerise is starting to get antsy and you know how she gets"
Again apple nodded and raven turned to leave but before she left through the doorway she said over her shoulder.
" and you really could do so much worse than darling charming, I'll see you when I get back apple."
And with that the purple haired girl was gone leaving apple alone with her thoughts.
