Peeta's Poem
My arms just feel right
Around the girl who saved me
'Cause when I hold her tight
I feel her courage and bravery
Without her I'd be poorer
She doesn't believe it yet
How long that I've longed for her
And how my mind is set
The comfort that she brings
To my weary, beat up soul
Is warming like a fire
In this district known for coal
If she could only realize
I'd let nothing ever harm her
And just look into my eyes
She'd see she's my strength and armour
I know she thinks I'm selfless
She'll always have all of me
But mainly I just feel helpless
Until she rests next to me
So laying in my arms
Keeps her nightmares away
But it's me who needs her charms
To get through and live each day
