Chapter 1: Awakening to new world...
Warmth...
Serenity...
This is the first thing I feel and embracing as my consciousness comes back to... Whatever the heck that happened to me.
I opened my weary eyes and was greeted with pure light that somehow doesn't blind me, despite how bright it is. Blinking few times, I glance around and noted I appear to be in a white void with nothing in sight. I raise my hands and sees that i'm some kind of a near transparent blue glowing being of energy, which I realize that what I am looking at is my soul.
I'm... I don't have a corporeal form to show who or what I used to be. Yet despite the knowledge that I may actually be dead, I feel... Content, happy and calm.
As if all the trouble of the world have finally left me, leaving me free from the burden of mortality and... Chains.
If it was possible I would have frowned, as I noticed i do not have any facial features. I do not recall who or what I used to be, but my old feeling and senses are still there somewhere and they're telling me that I led an unfulfilling life... Like I was chained down by something, preventing me from becoming someone or be the person I wanted to be.
The more I think on that the more I realized that I was chained down by those with higher power, dictating and judging me of who and what my life was, where I came from and what sort of path I wanted to go and be as. As if I was nothing more than a slave to people who cared more for worthless papers than the actual lives trying to survive and find happiness.
And yet... Does any of that matters now?
I'm dead and yet reborn into something else, only problem is... Where the heck am I?
Am I in Purgatory? or is this what the afterlife truly is like?
"Ah, I see you're finally awake my child."
I almost jumped in shock and surprise as a gentle feminine voice echoes through this white void. By instinct I glance upward and sees several orbs of colored light gathered into one place in mid air, once they began to form into a large, huge orb the size of a two story house and exploded into a golden light that blinded me for a second.
Once my vision came back, I was stunned by what I could only describe as... A goddess.
A very huge goddess I might add! The being was over I believe to be 40 feet tall, her body is covered in white armoured skin with dark grey underbelly with black lines going down and golden hands and feets that goes up a bit on her forearms and legs. On her face it looked like she wears a dark grey face mask but closer inspection reveals that's her actual face, with long white hair that has dark grey coloration underneath and two white horns pointing upward. Behind her back was a golden X shaped disc with green gems decorated on each pointed end of the X shape disc.
However it was her body that struck me shocked and speechless, because holy crap!
She has a hourglass figure with sexy curves shaped in the right way, thick thighs, hips and rear, slender long legs and most of all... Her bosom was huge! Like, really frickin huge! Not to mention she was completely naked as well, since I can see the... Private parts very clearly.
I just floated there in complete shock, far too speechless that this powerful being appearing before me and slowly sinks down before she stops where my body faced her huge mammaries. She looks down with her green and red eyes at me while she doesn't have a mouth or a nose, she smiles down at me in a very motherly fashion as she scoops me up with her hands and gently lift me up to meet her gaze, face to face...In manner of speaking.
"I apologize if you waited for long, I was busy sending your fellow sibling away to their new life where you all would live, soon enough~" I blinked few times in surprise, I have siblings? I tried to open what passes off as my mouth but no sound came out from me.
what? Am I unable to speak?
"Unfortunately, at this stage you are unable to speak my child, for you're still an undeveloped young soul that I remade from your previous self energies to create you." Looking up in surprise as if she can read my thoughts... Of course she can, she's a goddess after all. Also what? my previous self? Am I a clone of someone from my real self?
"Indeed," The goddess said, once again answering my question "You're the result of left over Anima from your previous self, whom is currently resting within the true afterlife. But do not mistake yourself as a clone, I simply remade you to be your own person with your own feelings and dreams. Though there will be some lingering old feelings from your previous self, so be careful whenever you feel emotional... I'll admit, it's been quite a while since a good batch of souls with pure hearts entered my realm."
"What do you mean?" I thought.
"What I mean is that there was an unusual amount of souls with kindness within their very beings that departed from the mortal world and came to my domain, especially considering the race your previous self was as Humans are rather... Complicated species that half the time I wondered if it was a good idea to make." Just hearing the name of human seems to make me feel annoyed and disappointed for some reason.
"For a very good reason, but do not hate them for their flaws. They have the potential to be great, if only they can get their heads out of their asses and see what's in front of them. I mean, I made them to be far more adaptable with their minds, but instead wastes it away on getting greedy and lazy, using others for their own benefit and ruin their bloody own worlds over and over for useless papers! Where the hell did i go wrong with them?!" And I sweatdropped when she began ranting.
I mean, I kind of get where she's coming from but then again it's their own free will that allowed them to choose their path... Even if they end up being completely disappointing.
"A-Anyway" The giant goddess faked coughed, can even see a small blush on her cheeks "Sorry about that, Humanity along with few other species that I made have made me a bit... Angry and disappointed, especially with every world and dimension they exist in have done far more harm than good... Especially when it helps the darker forces that wishes all life in the existence to be vanquished."
"Wait what?" I exclaimed in my thoughts. "What do you mean there are dark forces that want all life exterminated!?"
"It is as I said, there are Eldritch beings older than even myself that want to either eat the universe or control everything... Then there are the demons that wish nothing more than conquer worlds and subjugate many souls into an eternity of suffering. Every millennia I fight tooth and nail to try keep the balance of the universe in order and keeping them safe from them... Sadly however, there are times they manage to slip through my vigilance and causes untold amount of damage and horror to my creation... My childrens." The Goddess sighs sadly as her gaze linger at the side, reminiscent to every world, every universe with life in them gone in the blink of an eye.
I just stood there, unsure what to say here other than feel sorry for her...
Actually, come to think of it... What is her name again?
"Ah! I'm so sorry!" The goddess apologize as she pays attention to me again "I was simply so overjoyed to create more of my childrens that i forgot to introduce myself."
"My name... Is Arceus, Goddess of creation and your mother... My dear little Ember."
I blinked in confusion, before eyed widen in shock as the realization kicked in that the fact... I'm a child of a goddess! I'm... A demi god!?
"M...mother?" I stammered, far too shocked and surprise by this revelation.
"Yes, both you and your siblings are my dearest and brightest creations..." Arceus began stroking her one finger on my head "It's been so long since I created something by my own hands, you truly don't know the feeling of joy that I have. Not since I was forced to follow the laws by the other gods to not meddle in the affairs of mortals...Even when trying to save them from destruction by their own hands or otherworldly invaders."
"Wait what? there are other gods?"
"Indeed..." Arceus sighs, somewhat tiredly and frustrated "There are other beings like myself and each one created their own worlds and creatures to reflect their own appearance. However, unlike me and few other they do not care of their own childrens, their own creation and sees them as nothing more than playthings to use and throw away later. It has led to conflict between us gods due to their careless actions and heartless way of treating their own."
"But it also led to everyone agreed to not mingle with the mortals anymore, out of fear that those same uncaring deities would only make things worse, especially that womanizing lightning throwing idiot, as it led to many world wiped out or our own creation joining hands with the very monsters we're trying to keep them safe from... It's been nothing but chaos and all of us are tied up with our hands behind our backs trying to figure out what to do without getting involved and cause more conflict than preventing it."
"That is... Until recently." Arceus then points at me "We may not be able to help directly, but by creating you and the others we have granted several worlds powerful champions that would lead our creation toward a better path, one without intervention from some of the more careless gods... That is, if you wish to help us." I blinked as my mind process the information I was given and eyed widen at what she ask of me.
"Y-You want me to... keep the worlds safe?" I stammered.
Arceus nods as she continue to explain "Yes, i'm sorry to ask of you for something so grand. But due to the useless law set upon us deities we cannot be there to help the mortals out, but by creating demi-gods children like yourself you would help us out tremendously by not only keeping every living or dead safe but also help them find a better path. One where it does not lead to ruin of themself or others."
"But, you are my daughter, my dearest child and I cannot in good conscious force you to take upon this dangerous task without your consent."
"W-Wait a minute... Are you giving me a choise that I can take this mission or not?" I asked, surprised that I was given a choice to choose if I wish to do this task or not. Something that I seem to remember a little bit from my previous self life is histories about gods and deities. If there is one thing my former self learned is that gods are petty, prideful and won't take no for an answer and yet, this goddess... My mother, is giving me a choice to help her or not.
"Indeed, little Ember~" Arceus said, likely read my mind and know what to answer "Unlike the others, I want to be a good mother and care for both you and your spiritual siblings along with all of my creation, the freedom of choice and will. It is the greatest gift I can give even if many chooses poorly, it is still their own choice to make, to live and learn from it. To become better as a person and soul."
"As for your answer... If you choose not to take it, you still will live peacefully far away from any dangers and live happily ever after. But if you choose to help me, you along with the others will be sent to a world that have been stagnated for sometime now, allowing demons and abberations to roam free to take root on the soil. Do not worry about rushing for an answer, take your time to think on this as it is important."
After Arceus said that I was silent for a good moment, unsure how to even respond or think about this.
I can choose a very difficult task to help out a world with whatever problem it might have, yet I can choose not to do it and live my life in peace without fearing for any danger. But when she mentioned there were others like me that choose to go to this world in order to help it without a second thought caused me to think about myself.
Or rather, my previous self feelings.
I may not know who or what I was but I can sense the frustration, the sorrow and being completely helpless of helping out or preventing something stupid and bad from happening. Always stuck to the sideline with many others who either didn't care or unable to help, perhaps even lacked the courage to do what is right.
Forced to watch as many either suffered or faced injustice for things that they had no control over, framed or even judged for appearances or legacy. Hell you were even punished for even defending yourself from an armed criminal that tried to either rob you or kill you, yet you still face injustice because you hit first or caused enough damage to the person trying to harm you.
So then... What do I want from this choice?
Don't take the offer and live my life in peace? Without fear of hardship, pain and facing many hundreds of possible scenarios that would go bad for me?
Or take it and try make a difference? To finally have the power to make a difference and learn from whatever mistakes both myself and others make, to create a better world with the others who likely will be facing the same hardship that I will if I take it?
...You know what? I made up my mind, as I looked up to my mother with determined look and answered.
"I'll do it." And arceus smiled warmly.
"Thank you Ember... Thank you so much for helping your dear mother out, but most of all thank you for choosing to help your siblings out as well~"
"My siblings... how many do i have and how many did you send to the world you want me to help out?" I asked, quite curious who my siblings would be.
"Now that... Is a surprise" Arceus teased while wagging a finger "But if you wish to know, I sent most of them to the world you and the others will be living in ahead of you while you were still growing and reforming into a new entity. Though I won't say what form they will take since they will be reincarnating with a new body that would suit them both in personality and mind, but I can tell you how many there are. Seven of them which inlcude you as the eight, though at the moment i'm unsure how many more will appear as you're the last one to be reborn from my energy but I'll keep in contact with you girls once in a while when i'm not busy~"
"So i'm the last child you manage to create then?"
"Yes, though hopefully in the future more people with pure hearted souls graces us with part of their left over energies of Anima. Because i just saw one of the girls do something stupid and now has horde of zombies coming after her-And now one of them got stuck and can't get out... Great." I sweatdropped when I heard that as Arceus sighed heavily, like a mother that heard some of her kids did something stupid again which isn't far off considering she made us.

The hell are they doing down there!?
And why am I now second guessing my choice here!?
"But either way" I snapped out of my mental ranting and looked up to my mother "I'll be sending you to the Island of Arkendrath, where I sent your sisters as your new starting home. From there you and the others will help each other to build a foundation and a way of new life for those who lost hope and given into despair. But be warned, the island holds many dark secrets and even to this day; the effect of careless use of demonic magic still lingers on the island, so you and your sisters must work together to rid of the curse on the island."
"However, I won't leave you entirely defenseless. Like your sisters I'll give you a special power that not only monitor your strength, magic and everything else but also help you grow properly as my demi-god child. But be warned, despite the nature of this power do not let it get into your head that you're invincible, for there are beings on that world that can easily bypass the powers you'll have and slaughter you without a second thought. So please... Be careful."
"I will mother... you have my word!" I said, making promise to be careful and not doing anything stupid that might get me or my siblings killed.
"Thank you Ember... Now go, with my blessings and help direct the world from it's stagnated state toward a new era!"
My mother then holds her hands up with me on them and seemingly gather energy around me. I could feel them merging with me as I felt invigorated and numb as I feel tired, yet condent as my consciousness drift away as I could feel something new begin to form upon my soul and sent elsewhere by my mother.
One way or another, I'll work together with my siblings to bring a new era to this stagnated world, wether by dragging the idiots kicking and screaming, I won't let another world fall to ruin by incompetence and greed!
Island of Arkendrath
Location: Beachhead
Time: 23:11 PM
The first thing that I hear and feel, is the sound of nature all around me and the chilly wind breeze past my sore, numb body as I slowly regain my consciousness with a groan... That sounded strange and high pitch.
I could feel and even smell things that are so new to me that my brain have some trouble to register what i'm feeling or smelling... After a while I finally remember some of the scent and touch, i'm at the beach. Or rather, i'm lying on the sandy beach on my back as the ocean water keeps hitting the beachhead, the smell of salt water in the air and the feeling of both ocean water and rain hitting my furred body.
With a mumbled groan I slowly opened my eyes and noted it was almost pitch black, until I realized it was night time as I gazed upon a cloudy sky with rain pouring down.
Grunting a bit as I sat up by using my arms and elbow to prop myself up into a sitting position to look at myself of what I have become after agreeing to reincarnate and help my mother with this world. What I saw surprise me quite a bit.
The first thing that I see are the largest pair of breasts that almost rivals mother's own attached to my chest, covered in thin white silky fur with my nips being light pink. Noticing the deep red fur with blond spiked up shoulderpad like fur on my torso region almost acting like an open shirt that spills out my bare breasts out in the open.
Looking down further I see my whole lower body is covered in Dark grey skin with pawed feet and a yellow fluffy tail coming out above my rear. Glancing to the side with my eyes I notice the large puff of orange red fluff coming out of my vulpine ears and focusing on the area where my nose is, I notice I have a feminine vulpine like snout with blond fur with white muzzle.
Raising my hand I see the red fur acting like a sleeve when my hand is dark grey skin with no fur, like my lower body.
And yet strangely, I know what I am.
A Delphox.
Raising an eyebrow as to how in the world do I know that, but shrugs as it is likely mother's way to implemented information into my head in order to help me out. looking around I can see that I'm lying on some abandoned beach with washed up tree log, boulders and junk here and there. Along with seashells and small tiny crabs milling about.
Glancing behind me, I see a sheer steep cliffs that reaches far high for me to be able to climb... Nor do I even see anything that can be used to climb safely without cutting myself on jagged rocks or falling to my death.
With a grunt I shakily stood up on my two feet, stretch my body and move around to try get used to this new body i was reborn in. Strangely I feel light and quite well despite the fact i'm stark naked with the cold wind sweeping past me now and then, yet it doesn't bother me at all.
Hell even having these large boobs doesn't seems to weight me down either!
But then I frown, remembering that mother did say that she would give me a special power that may help me out. So then how do I use it and what does it exactly do?
No sooner I thought of that, a floating screen appeared before me with the HUD dark grey with grey gothic like edges and intricate design that you normally would find in fantasy like games on a menu screen.

I blinked as I read over what appears to be a character profile of myself. It took couple of seconds for my brain to register the fact that the power mother spoke of... Is literally a video game mechanic.
"Seriously mom? I-I don't mind something like this but really? going by the trope of Isekai gamer, aren't we?" I mutter to myself as I dismissed the screen. I looked around once more to asses my predicament and what to do from here.
So far i'm completely alone at the beach with rocks, boulders and washed up logs surrounding me and likely hiding me from whatever dangers that may reside on this beach. Second, if I want to help mom out fixing this world out then that means I need to find the others and group up... because I'm getting the feeling some of them are more prone to getting themself into troubles than fixing them.
Looking down to see if there is anything that I can use as a weapon.
I know I have my magic with me to protect me but considering it's more tied to my real capabilities than using the broken reality breaking powers of the Gamer than what I remembered and whatever info mother gave me, it's better to be on the safe side.
After a moment of just looking around I spot a sturdy looking stick at the length of my forearm. Picking it up and testing it weight and how well it holds as I swings lightly around, nodding to myself as this thing would suit me well till I get a dagger or a short sword of some kind.
Now with an improvised weapon in hand, soaked in water due to the rain yet not freezing or anything, I walked around the rocks and boulders to see what's beyond my little safe spot while also trying to ignore the... Bouncing boobs on my chest whenever I take a step.
But as I rounded the last rock I was greeted by a vast beachhead that littered with old wooden houses, shipwrecked life boats and planks littered the beach and it was so frickin dark that It was almost impossible to see clearly without the moonlight hiding behind the clouds somewhat illuminate the area.
What more is that I can see shapes, far in the distance moving in sluggish way... Something tells me they're not friendly.
And I almost jumped as a loud booming thunderstrike echoes through the beach, lightening up the area a bit more by the lightning and saw something from the distance that catches my attention.
A Fort of some kind with a sharp jagged pointed rock formation pointing toward the ocean, far away that it looks like a good place for shelter and perhaps a chance to find the others as well!
But...
I looked at the shadowy shapes that seems to shambles around, my only guess would be zombies but I can also see something else moving around, something that's the size of a large dog with spindly legs and arms with pincher claws. I closed my eyes to focus on my magic, to feel where it is and found it deep within me.
I coaxed it to me and held a hand above me, then opens my eyes to see a flash of orange and golden light erupt from the palm of my hand and a sphere of fire hovered above me, illuminating the area around me.
Smiling to myself as I now have the means to see where the hell am I walking into... However it also does give my location away but by doing so, I can only hope my siblings sees the light and runs toward it to find me. It's better in numbers than alone, beside I don't like the look of this place and the ruins of that fort I just saw a minute ago might be the only safest place around here... provided nobody decided to make it their lair and kick my ass.
With a deep breath and bracing myself of likely fighting for my life, I left my safe spot and headed toward where the ruins are located.
One way or another, i'm going to find my siblings and we're going to make this island our new home.

Woo! the rewrite took a bit longer than I thought it would but here it is and honestly I like this version better than the original one. On the side note, thinking of uploading it in the scrapped stories for everyone to go back and take a look where the first chapter was like along with the second unfinished chapter that I worked with before I changed my mind and redo everything about this story.
As for the last part with the character profile, get used to seeing that on every chapters as it is simply my way of keeping track of the girls and their stats and abilites. To see where and how much they grew since i'm literally using the elements from D&D style of leveling.
Anyway, hope you like this version and the direction of the story is going. Also don't forget to vote or suggest a pokegirl that may or may not be used as one of the seven protagonist of the story.
