In a dark space, the crests spin around on the screen and travel into the light in the middle. The Crest of Courage and Friendship appear first. Followed by Love, Knowledge, Sincerity, Purity, Light, and Hope. Three more crests follow the original eight. A dark pink rose-like flower, the Crest of Kindness, twin yellow swords crossing each other, the Crest of Loyalty, and finally a green shield with wings, the Crest of Protection.
As the crests enter the light the number 02 spins on the screen. A rainbow of colors appears behind it, revealing Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers.
In a small room in Tamachi, Japan, Ken and Osamu Ichijouji are sitting in front of a computer. They watched as Diablomon fought against War Greymon and Metal Garurumon. They watched in horror as the two are attacked and appear lifeless.
The scene changes to Ryo Akiyama as he arrives with V-mon to the Village of Beginnings. Ryo smiles as he talks to Gennai, Piccolomon, and Agumon.
The previous scene fades out, allowing Yaamon and Leafmon to fade into the screen.
A white outline of a globe is seen spinning around. This globe soon separates into two identical globes. As the two separate, they spin side by side with each other, representing the Human and Digital World. Red eyes soon appear, followed by claws, ripping the Digital World in half.
In an unknown jungle, Ken and Wormmon are seen together with three other Digimon, surrounded by fire. They are all running as Millenniumon's pet, Megidramon, burns the jungle to the ground.
The scene changes to Ryo and Osamu as they walk behind Angemon and Angewomon. They are within the Holy Kingdom, following a Gatomon as they are lead to a throne room where Ophanimon is seen sitting with her comrades.
The camera rolls over the Tamers. Ken and Stingmon are seen first. She is instructing her army of six as they learn to straighten their bond with her. Osamu and Impmon are seen next, talking to three other Digimon as they strategized on what to do next. The last to be seen are Ryo and V-mon as they watch some of the Digimon spare against each other.
Ken holds an injured Wormmon as he looks on ahead, tearfully. Osamu, Ryo, and their Digimon are on the ground, beaten and injured as Millenniumon's laughs. Just as a tear falls down her cheek, the Crest of Kindness glows and the two are engulfed in a white light.
In a split-screen, Ken and Ryo are in a desert, holding their digivices as they stare at Millenniumon. The two Tamers look on in shook, determination, part rage as Wormmon and V-mon Jogress for the first time.
A Digital Gate opens on a computer followed by Osamu and Ken's digivices glowing as light comes out of it.
V-mon, Wormmon, and Impmon are seen spinning around the light caused by the device before each one is seen evolving to each of their stages. Leafmon is seen first, evolving into Minomon, Wormmmon, Stingmon, and then Jewlbeemon. Yaamon is seen next, followed by Impmon and Wizarmon. Chibimon is seen last followed by V-mon and XV-mon.
Millenniumon comes spinning around in a black background with a wicked grin on his face. He shoots from his cannon, resulting in a bright flash.
Ryo and Osamu run towards Ken, their eyes wide, their faces pale, their hands raised out in front of them as an energy blast from Millenniumon's cannon heads straight for her.
The Digimon of the Tamers' United forces and the Chosen Digimon all ran in a field as they clashed with the Digimon helping Millenniumon.
XV-mon fires an energy beam from the X on his chest at Millenniumon. Wizarmon swings his staff around, summon wild winds at the Evil God. Jewelbeemon swoops in from bind, catching the Millenniumon off guard.
Ryo, Ken, and Osamu all stand in a circle, watching intently as the Digimentals of Kindness, Courage, Friendship, Love, Purity, Knowledge, Sincerity, Hope, Light, Darkness, Pride, Desire, and Tenacity float above the children in the dark cavern. They travel in a circle, going fasting and fasting until a portal to enters Millenniumon's heart appears.
A close up of slightly injured Ken and Wormmon in Millenniumon's realm is shown. Wormmon glows in tune with Ken's crests. As the light travels, engulfing them completely, a silhouette of a female humanoid Digimon with wings, her arms across, her head held high, flies across the screen.
An image of Taichi appears as he watches his friend walk away from him. Taichi's lifts up his hand, his faced pained, tears falling, as Ryo walks into the light and disappears.
A close up of Osamu is seen as he is hit by the Dark Seed. Ken, Ryo, V-mon, Impmon, and Wormmon are all running towards him.
An image of a Digitama appears on the screen before fading out to reveal Monodramon.
The image fades out again to show Yggdrasill and the Royal Knights staring down at the Digital World, unable to do anything.
In a blue and gray sparkly background are Wormmon, V-mon, and Impmon who are in front of their partners. Behind the children are Stingmon, Jewelbeemon, Wizarmon, XV-mon, and Paildramon.
