Kuroko's pov
The words they spoke pierced my heart, words filled with venom and hatred poured out directed towards me and all I could do was stand by the door and just listen. The heart I made fragile was being cut with each word spoken, it was bleeding to death.
I finally understood, right there and then, tears streaming down my face while my heart was getting cut up, I finally understood. I need to lose this heart, it's my one and only greatest weakness.
"Kurokocchi?" I heard Kise say, everyone went silent after hearing my name
I looked up at Kise who flinched looking at me
"Kurokocchi" kise said looking concerned
"Don't worry you won't have to see my face anymore. I'll disappear like how you want" I said and turned around and left, it was pouring out and it didn't help that I didn't have any umbrella so I just walked in the rain.
My phone started ringing
"Hello" I said answer my phone
"Tetsuya It's time to comeback home,I've allowed you to stroll around doing you shenanigans in Japan long enough. It's time to live as a kuroko now, Head to the airport the plane is waiting for you right now. I better be seeing you here soon" father said
"Yes father" I said, he forgot for a second that he came from that time of family that was strict with its children.
I went home and changed into dry clothes, after changing I went outside to see a car waiting for me. "He's too cautious" I mumbled, I entered the car which drove me to the airport.
From the airport two body guards went with me to the plane making sure I entered it and I didn't leave. I rolled my eyes at how ridiculous my family is.
After a day I arrived in New York City. It looks totally different.
"Tetsuya!" Someone yelled out my name
I looked around to see who it was until I spotted my sister waving her hands at me, I walked towards her and gave her a hug.
"Hey Akina" I said forgetting all about the events in Japan momentarily.
"Look at how grown you've become, oh my goodness you're still a cutie pie" Akina said giving me a super tight hug which was a result of excitement
"I can't breath" I said
"Oh sorry, anyways let's get going. The whole family is waiting" Akina said guiding me to her car
We jammed to music our whole ride to our parents place.
"You should probably go talk to dad first, the others will wait" Akina said once we arrived
"Okay" I said getting out the car and went straight to our father's office. I knocked on the door until I heard a come in which I complied with.
"Welcome home Tetsuya" my father said
"Thank you father" I said bowing then stood straight up
"So have you decide what you're going to contribute for the kuroko empire?" father asked
I looked at the floor, there was something I wanted to do but I wasn't sure it'll be approved by my father who was very strict with the family image.
"I asked you a question" father said this time his voice held a hint of danger
"Yes father, I have decided on my career choice" I said
"I'm listening" he said
"I would like to create a basketball club that will be known all around the world and I want to sponsor that club with my very own sports brands ebasketball and Altisport" I said
I stared at my father nervously, I was the only one out of the whole family who hasn't kick started my very own career. Even my 9 year old sister had her own business. My family is an empire because each generation has to create their own branch of businesses within the empire which expends the Kuroko empire more and more, they keep their children's interests In mind while also dominating in the financial department.
"So you want to creat two different sports brands?" father asked
"Yes father" I said
"How is that going to work out?" He asked
"I'm creating ebasketball to be a brand that only focuses on basketball alone,I'll be using the revenue from this company to move my team forward in the quest to dominate the world of basketball. Altisport on the other hand is a brand for a whole wide range of sports, the stores will have everything an athlete will every need, also under Altisport I can expand beyond clothes and equipments, I'll be creating high quality sports facilities that will gain attraction" I said
"That sounds very nice in theory but can you accomplish that?" Father asked
"I have everything set up all I need is your permission to open, I've taken care of everything else while I was in Japan" I said
"Very well then, you can open them up. Let's see how they do after a month" father said
"Thank you" I said
"You May leave" father said
I bowed and left the room to go meet my siblings.
