Note: This story happens after the whole thing, therefore it means it happens when Kirito is re-defeating Aincrad with his friends.
June 24 2028 Floor 1
It was a glorious day in the real world. In ALO, Aincrad hovered in the sky, in all it's glory. Finally, the very 100th floor had been released. On this very day, an army would march into the top floor in attempt to defeat the monster there. On the first floor, a few of the players who would be in the front lines, gathered in an Inn. Kirito, Asuna, Agil, Klein, Sinon, Silica, Lisbeth, Leafa, and even Recon. As everyone checked their weapons, Recon was sweating and shaking like crazy. Of course, that didn't affect his avatar much. Only the shaking. Leafa noticed, though.
Leafa couldn't help but keep glancing at him, making sure he was okay. Sure, she had rejected him, but he was really sweet. She hated that she cared, but she did. Eventually, Leafa sheathed her sword, and pulled Recon by the elbow into the corner of the room. "Are you okay?"Leafa asked, concern etched on her face. "I-i I'm fine. I'm j-just scared,"Recon mumbled in reply. "Then have more courage in yourself,"Leafa answered. After a few moments, she did the thing she knew would most definitely give him courage. "Good luck,"she whispered, leaned in and gave a quick peck on his forehead, before pulling back.
Recon's eyes were wide, as he stared into hers, his face red, as hers was calm, and collected. He knew the kiss was to reassure him, because she saw it as a last option. Right now, it felt as if honey were flowing through him, and everything was relaxed, but his heart, which beat like crazy. He knew, the kiss wasn't a show of affection, but simply a way to calm, but he couldn't help think, what if. And once he thought what if, it was as if he couldn't control himself. What if all it took was a kiss?
Recon straigtened himself, as straight as he could, tilted his head up so he could look straight into her eyes, then stood on is toes and kissed her. He felt warm and like flowing honey when she wrapped her arms around him. Behind him, Recon could hear oohs, but he couldn't care less, because Leafa was reciprocating. Finally.
For Leafa, it seemed to all come together, suddenly. He was the guy. She suddenly understood more of what was happening between Kazuto and Asuna. "Alright, we get that you guys like each other and all, and congratulations to, you Recon, but we should cut the PDA and get going or the army will go in without us,"Kirito finally cut in after a while. Asuna laughed, stepped on his foot and then replied, "C'mon let's go outside and give them a minute. Only one minute though, because Kirito is right about being late." Everyone followed Asuna out of the the Inn.
Leafa finally pulled away as they left. Then she smiled. Recon's eyes were scared, but he wasn't shaking, not in her arms. "So, are you still scared out of your mind?"she asked. "Ergh... no. I know that you'll be by my side,"Recon was able to get out. "How about we pull our attention to the upcoming battle for now then?"Leafa asked once agian. "Ergh... sure,"Recon answered. Leafa gave a smile, and they turned hand in hand, and walked out to go with their friends to the 100th floor.
As the sun rose, on this beautiful June day, a group of people, teleported to the dark cavern, with it's intimidating stalactites and stalagmites. It led to the stairwell to the top of the tower, where the very last boss was. To defeat The Owari, as the boss was named. They took in the people gathered there, the greatest groups of people in all of ALO and SAO gathered together, to defeat the final tower, the final part. Then, it would really end it. No cheating this time, no interference. Kirito would finally defeat Aincrad, after six years of trying.
