The Bruma Garrison

Part 2 of 3. Bruma is in danger of suffering the same fate as Kvatch. Sonja must travel to every city in Cyrodiil to gather soldiers and other allies for the upcoming battle against the Daedra. A long and dangerous journey awaits her as Mythic Dawn agents pursue her and more Oblivion Gates continue to open. Her relationship with Martin grows stronger each day even when apart.

1. Prologue

Most of the dialogue and characters belong to Bethesda.

Everything else belongs to me.

This is the direct sequel to A New Destiny and the second part of my Oblivion trilogy which focuses on the main questline. This story will center on the "Allies for Bruma" quest. Other quests will be involved for extra adventure and pretty much so that this story isn't very short.

We will also be reading the letters exchanged between Sonja and Martin while she is away and we will also be looking at flashbacks of how their love evolved between A New Destiny and The Bruma Garrison.

This story is rated M because there will be some intimate moments but nothing too explicit. I'm not going to write anything dirty or anything that may make my readers uncomfortable. Like I said, it is rated M but still leaning more towards the PG-13 area just like the last story.

If you haven't read A New Destiny, it will be on my page. I hope you all enjoy this. I will try to update as best as I can. Writing does take a lot of time lol.

Prologue

On the 27th of Last Seed, my life changed forever.

I had been arrested for a crime I did not commit. But I was saved by the late Emperor Uriel Septim VII. I was the sole witness of his assassination. Before he died, he told me to deliver the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre, Grandmaster of the Blades. He also told me to find his last son – Martin, a priest serving Akatosh in Kvatch and a trained conjurer.

Kvatch, my home, was burned to the ground when the Daedra attacked. Martin and my mother were among those who survived. After the Daedra were driven away, Martin agreed to come with me to Weynon Priory, only to find that the Amulet of Kings was taken.

I discovered that I wasn't entirely human. I am a humanoid being called an Aetherial, a vampire-human hybrid with the soul of a dragon.

We learned that the assassins who murdered the emperor were called the Mythic Dawn, an order dedicated to Mehrunes Dagon and led by Mankar Camoran, a powerful sorcerer.

Upon the emperor's death, Gates to Oblivion started opening all over Cyrodiil. And now all over Tamriel. The only way to close them all is for Martin to light the Dragonfires in the Imperial City and become the new emperor.

Martin's safety has become a bigger priority than it has been before. Not only because the Mythic Dawn know that he is hiding in Cloud Ruler Temple, but because he and I are lovers now. Our bond grows stronger each day.

But we must also be ready. We must prepare to defend Bruma…
