An usual day for Xanxus in his office, who had actually decided to work for a few minutes after more than a few whiskeys. Barely glancing at the final potential candidates that Squalo had chosen for the next Varia batch. Yawning and tossing the papers a pair of innocent yet familiar-looking eyes caught his attention.
APPLICANT #345.
NAME: Esther Y.
A mischievous look crossed his face, as the look of those eyes seemed familiar and annoying. It intrigued him to meet this, Esther Yew. Luckily for her she had a satisfactory background in combat and decent knowledge on different languages.
Getting excited, Xanxus chose a few more applicants, but no other stood up like that woman, especially that no other applicant was remotely close to her age.
"VOII! Xanxus are you done with those fuking documents from last month!"
Immediately Squalo expected a flying whiskey bottle to crash into his head, what he didn't expect was a few crumbled papers to hit his head
"VOIIII! what is the meaning of this have you gone retard!?"
All Xanxus Said was, "be prompt" pointing his guns at Squalo "now get out you piece of trash"
Then a flying bottle of whiskey crashed into Squalo's head
The swordsman pissed off said "You stupid piece of shit!" closing the door behind. And started with his new mission from his stupid boss.
Xanxus could not wait to see those eyes in person.
Squalo was cursing as he was picking up the documents the crappy boss has tossed at him and was uncrumpling the papers and looking at the last names and ages of the chosen applicants. ''More fuking work for me! But I will give him a piece of my mind later. That shitty boss!'' As he waived his knife and stomped his feet while heading towards the Vongola branch in charge of the vigorous background checks for all future Vongola employees. Then all must also be approved by Decimo. But even if, all applicants have to go under training and then win a few trials, to then be full-fledged Varia assassins'.
While handing in the applications, Squalo wondered where he had seen the last name, Yew.
