Gabriella groaned as she hovered over the toilet for what felt like the 50th time that morning and it was only 10am. She somehow found the strength to make it back to her bed and cuddled up with her husband's pillow. She inhaled his scent that caused a smile to form on her face. She groaned as she had been feeling this way for a week now and she was over it. It wasn't all that bad but last night and today were the worse. She had been hiding it from her husband because she knew he would be worried, but she just couldn't anymore, especially after last night. It had taking a lot of convincing to get him to go to work today. Her phone buzzed next to her and she rolled her eyes as she already knew who was texting her but that didn't stop the smile from crossing her face.
"How are you feeling?" Gabriella giggled as he had been texting her the same question every hour since she left.
"I'm okay babe. Nothing a little rest won't cure"
"I don't know Ella. You seemed pretty bad when I left" Gabriella rolled her eyes at her husband's dramatics.
"Thanks a lot babe."
"Lol you know what I meant. I'm just worried about you. Are you sure you don't need me to come home?" Gabriella shook her head as she knew that if she said yes, he would be back at their house within minutes.
"No I'm fine. Stay at work. I promise if it gets worse, I will let you know."
"Okay I'm holding you to that promise! I love you!" Even when he said it to her through text, those three little words always made her hurt flutter.
"Love you too baby! Stay Safe!"
Gabriella smiled as she thought about her wonderful husband, Troy Bolton. They had met their freshman year of college at UCLA where he was on the basketball team and she was on the dance team. They met through their mutual friend Taylor Mckessie (now Danforth). Taylor was on the dance team with Gabriella as well as being her roommate while Troy was Taylor's now husband best friend/roommate/teammate Chad Danforth. The two had been married for the last 4 years and have a one-year-old son who happens to be Troy and Gabriella's Godson. Both Troy and Gabriella hit it off quickly and became very close friends. After months of flirting and hanging out, Troy had finally asked Gabriella on a date the day they returned to school from Thanksgiving break. They had dated all four years of college and then a year after college, Troy proposed. They had a quick engagement being as they were married 10 months later in front of all their friends and family. 3 years later, the two are still as happy as they first met.
Gabriella works as an ER nurse at the same hospital as Taylor who is an OB doctor while Troy works for the police department with Chad. When Troy decided to join the police department after graduation, Gabriella was terrified. She knew it was a dangerous job but at the same time, she always knew he would join. He was a 3rd generation police officer plus he studied criminology in college. Both is father and his grandfather had been on the force and were beyond proud when he decided to follow in their footsteps. The only saving grace was the fact that Chad was his partner. That made not only her but Taylor as well, a little less nervous about their husband's safety.
Right as she was thinking about her loving husband, her stomach churned causing her to run back to their master bathroom. Leaning over the toilet, she didn't understand why this was happening. It's not like she hadn't thrown up everything that was in her stomach. She reached down under the sink to grab a towel when she knocked over box of tampons causing her to stop all movement. She ran to her phone to look at the date and felt her heart jump into her stomach.
She was late.
Like late late.
She had no idea why she hadn't realized it sooner. What woman doesn't realize that she is late for her period!
Her hands started to shake as she realized what might be wrong with her. She quickly dialed the number of her best friend as she knew she needed to know, and she needed to know now.
"Hey Taylor! Do you have an opening, like now?"
Gabriella sat in one of the doctor's room an hour later as she waited for her best friend to return. She bit her lip and swung her legs as she was 95% sure that her suspensions were correct. Troy had once again texted her to check in and it took everything in her not to tell him where she was. She knew that if she would've told him that she was at the hospital he would think the worse and race to be with her. Her head snapped towards the door as her best friend walked through the door. She tried to read Taylor's face but she couldn't get a reading off her.
"Come on Taylor what are the results?!" Taylor opened the folder before smiling over at her best friend.
"Well it looks like we are going to have a baby Bolton in a little over 6 months." Gabriella sat there shocked as the words entered her brain. She tried to process the news as Taylor looked at her concerned.
"Gabs?"
Gabriella looked up at her with tears in her eyes as she smiled. "I'm pregnant.." Taylor laughed as she nodded and hugged her.
"Yes you are. You are 10 weeks along so almost out of your 1st trimester. The fact that you haven't had any symptoms up until this week amazes me." Gabriella sat back as she tried to remember what happened 10 weeks ago. It finally clicked as she laughed and looked over at Taylor.
"Oh My God, Troy's birthday." Troy had turned 26 and Gabriella had thrown him a huge surprise party. He had to work on his 25th birthday so Gabriella wanted to make this one special. Taylor laughed along with her best friend as she remembered that night. It was a fun party and Troy was all over Gabriella that night so that would explain a lot. Along with the amount of alcohol that was consumed.
"Clearly you all enjoyed the after party more than the real one." Gabriella rolled her eyes as she chuckled, but Taylor was right. The after party was way better than his actually party and it looks as though she had proof of that.
"Come on, lets take a look at the baby." Gabriella laid back on the table as Taylor got everything hooked up. She watched the screen and soon felt the water in her eyes when her baby came up on the screen. She placed her hand over her mouth as she turned to look at Taylor who was smiling at her.
"That's my baby." Gabriella whispered through her tears as she placed her hands over her face. She couldn't believe it she was pregnant!
"That is my future niece or nephew. Everything looks to be moving smoothly so I'm going to put your due date at November 15th." Gabriella bit as she still couldn't believe this was happening.
There on the screen was her baby.
Her and Troy's baby.
They were having a baby!
Taylor printed off some pictures for Gabriella as the two friends shared another hug. "Congrats Gabs. You guys are going to make awesome parents. You already are great godparents to Tyler."
Gabriella smiled as she looked down at the ultrasound pictures. She ran her finger over the image of her child. She couldn't wait for Troy to get home so that she could tell him.
"So how are you going to tell Troy?" Gabriella thought about it before she smiled as the prefect idea came to mind.
At 8pm, an exhausted Troy walked through the door of his home. It was yet another busy day on the force and he was just happy to be home. He was more so happy to be home because he had been worried about his wife all day. She wasn't feeling well last night, or this morning and it killed him to have to leave her for work. He knew she hadn't been feeling well through the week and paid close attention to her even though she thought he didn't know. All he wanted to do was curl up in bed with her in his arms.
A perfect night in his books.
He placed his jacket in the front closet before venturing into the house in search of his wife. He walked in the kitchen and saw her at the kitchen table on her computer. He smiled as she had looked a lot better than she had earlier. Her color was back, and she wasn't lying in bed which was a good sign for him.
"Someone is looking better." Gabriella's head popped up and she smiled seeing her husband leaning against the kitchen doorway.
"Troy!" She hopped up and moved into his awaiting arms as he leaned down to place a well wanted kiss on her lips.
"Mhmm I missed you today. How was work?" Troy smiled down at his wife as he moved some of her hair behind her ear.
"It was good. I am so happy to be home though. I was worried about you." Gabriella rolled her eyes playful as Troy pulled her closer.
"You're always worried about me but I'm feeling a lot better." Troy laughed as he nodded his head before kissing her forehead.
"I can see that. I guess you were right." Gabriella smirked as she kissed his cheek.
"I'm always right now come on I have something for you."
Troy raised his eyebrow as he followed his wife into the living room. He watched as she bounced up the stairs and back down with a bag in her hands. She ushered them to the couch before handing it to him.
"I had ordered you this last week and it was delivered today." He took the bag and he looked at her weirdly as he noticed that she was recording him causing Gabriella to giggle.
"Taylor helped me with it, and I told her I would record your reaction."
Troy shrugged his shoulders as he opened the bag and pulled out the box. Gabriella bit her lip as she felt her heart beating faster watching him open the box that held her secret. Troy opened the box and scrunched his eyebrows at seeing the onesie. He looked at his wife before turning to look back at the onesie. He flipped it over and gasped at the writing on the front: It was a white onesie that had a police car on the front with the words Daddy's backup under the car. Troy turned to look at his wife with a shocked face to see that she had tears in her eyes.
"Are you….are we.." Gabriella nodded her head with a smile as she watched him process everything.
"Yea we're having a baby." Troy looked back at the onesie before dropping the box and pulling his wife in for a hug making her squeal.
"We're having a baby!" He shouted causing his wife to laugh. Gabriella placed her arms around Troy's neck as he stood up and spined her around. He pulled back from the hug and slammed his lips against her in an earthshattering kiss leaving them both breathless. Troy pulled back to see his wife crying causing him to wipe her tears away.
"Is this why you haven't been feeling well and throwing up lately?" Gabriella laughed and nodded her head.
"Yea I was in the bathroom and reach down to grab something and I knocked over my box of tampons and then it hit me. I realized that I was late so I went to see Taylor and well come November there will be three of us." Troy smile stretched from ear to ear as he kissed his wife again.
He was going to be a father!
Gabriella pulled back and reached for the box as she pulled out something else. She handed the picture to Troy causing him to gasp again when he realized it was a picture of their child.
"Oh My God." He didn't even realize that he was crying until he felt Gabriella wipe away his tears. He looked up at his wife and pulled her in closer as the two stood there hugging.
"I love you so damn much." Gabriella ran her hand through Troy's hair as she looked into his shinning blue eyes.
"I love you too baby." The two shared a kiss that soon led to Troy picking his wife up and leading her to the bedroom just to show her how much he truly loved her.
Two rounds of love making later, the newly expecting parents were laying blissful in each other's arms. Gabriella was lying on Troy's chest, tracing patterns on his chest as Troy was running his fingers through her hair while his other hand was rubbing circles on her stomach.
"I can't believe you are pregnant." Gabriella giggled as she popped her head up to look at him.
"I can't either. Looks like we had a little too much fun at for your birthday." Gabriella shook her head causing Troy to smirk.
"Clearly. Well I cannot wait until November for our son to get here." Gabriella raised her eyebrow and tilted her head at him.
"You know it could be a girl." Troy rolled his eyes and reached over to his side table to grab the ultrasound picture.
"Oh come on, it's totally a boy!" Gabriella rolled her eyes as she moved to lay on the side of him.
"So are you saying that you won't be happy if it's a boy."
Troy bit his lip to stop the smile from showing. He already could see her hormones starting to come through. If he knew anything from what Chad had told him when Taylor was pregnant, it was to try and keep her hormones at bay as much as possible. He gently rolled over to hover over her as he smiled down at her.
"Of course, I'm going to be happy if we have a little girl. She's going to look just like her beautiful mother, but I'm just saying you know boys run in my family."
Gabriella rolled her eyes at her husband's smirk as he had a point. While she had a younger sister, Troy had 2 brothers. One older and one younger. His father is the 2nd oldest out of 4 boys. To say her chances of having a girl are pretty slim would be right but she wasn't going to admit that to him.
"Our parents are going to freak out."
Gabriella laughed and nodded her head as it was true. This would be the first grandchild for both sets of parents. Gabriella's sister was 3 years younger than her and in her first year of law school where as Troy's older brother who was 2 years older than him had just gotten married last year and his younger brother who was 3 years younger than him was still dating his girlfriend of 2 years. So, to say that the excitement in their family was going to be huge was an understatement.
"When can we tell everyone?"
Gabriella could see the excitement in Troy's eyes which made her fall even more in love with him. She knew he wanted a family, and she couldn't wait to see him become a father. He already did so well with Tyler whenever they would babysit. She just knew he was going to be even better with their child.
"I'm only 10 weeks so let's just keep it between us for 2 more weeks." Troy nodded his head as he leaned down and kissed her lips before continuing his trial down to her stomach.
"Hey peanut, daddy already loves you so much. You stay safe in there for us while we start getting everything ready for you okay." Troy kissed her stomach before looking up to see his wife in tears. "Hey what's with the tears?"
Gabriella bit her lip and shook her head as she pulled him closer to her face. "I just love you so much. You're going to make an amazing father."
Troy looked at his wife with a twinkle in his eye as he closed the gap between them.
2 weeks later-12 weeks pregnant
Gabriella stood in front of her mirror with her shirt lifted as she inspected her stomach. If you didn't know her or weren't standing close, you couldn't tell that she was pregnant. She did, however, have a very small bump that she was in love it. She smiled as she thought about how her stomach was going to grow over the next couple of months. Troy was already in love with her bump. Either he was always kissing it, rubbing it or talking to it. She could already see his father instincts coming into play and they had only known for two weeks. His protectiveness was already showing as well. He checked on her daily when they were at work and when they were home, he didn't let her lift a finger. Not that it bothered her any. She thought it was rather cute.
She was so wrapped up in her stomach that Gabriella didn't even notice her husband standing smiling at her. Troy loved the glow that shined from him wife. He thought it was the most beautiful thing. He couldn't wait to see her, and the baby grow. He placed his hands around her waist causing her to jump.
"You're beautiful." Gabriella smiled as they connected eyes through the mirror.
"Thank you baby. Are you ready to go?"
Troy nodded his things as he followed her out of the room. Today was the day that they were going for Gabriella's next checkup. Troy was beyond excited because this was the first time that he would be able to see the baby. They were also planning on telling their families after the appointment. Gabriella had found the perfect idea for their families and she couldn't wait to share the news.
The two drove hand and hand to the hospital, the smile they've had over the last two weeks never leaving their face. Troy smiled grew even wider at the hospital when he noticed all the fathers with their wives or girlfriends and their children. He couldn't wait until he was in their shoes. The two couldn't get back to the room fast enough when Gabriella's name was called. She sat on the table as the couple waited for Taylor. Gabriella giggled as she watched her husband bounce in his seat.
"Someone is excited." Troy laughed as he rolled his eyes.
"You saw the baby already" Troy whined with a pout as Gabriella rolled her eyes. The two looked up when they saw Taylor enter the room with a smile.
"Well who's ready to see my future niece."
"Nephew Tay, Nephew" Troy said with a smirk causing both the girls to roll their eyes.
"He's been saying it's a boy since he found out." Taylor laughed as she started getting everything ready.
"Well we have a couple more weeks before we can find that out but what we can do is see the baby." Gabriella laid back on the table as Troy grabbed her hand and kissed the top of her head. The couple watched on as Taylor brought the screen to life and their eyes lit up at the image.
"There is baby Bolton." Taylor said as she looked at the smiling couple.
"Wow" Troy whispered causing Gabriella to smile up at him. She rubbed his cheek and wiped away the lone tear that fell down his face. Troy looked down at his wife as the two shared a kiss.
"You guys want to hear the heartbeat?" The couple nodded as Troy got his phone out to record the sound. Taylor searched for the baby's sound and within seconds the wonderful sound filled the room. Gabriella felt the tears fall from her face as she looked up at Troy.
"I love that sound" Troy nodded as he laughed.
"I thought your laugh was my favorite sound, but I think this might have become my favorite sound." The two shared another kiss as Taylor printed off photos of the baby.
"Everything looks good. Gabi you are moving along perfectly. Congrats on making into the 2nd trimester. I printed out some extra pictures just in case you wanted to give them to your families."
"Thanks Tay. How about you and Chad come over tonight so that I can tell him." Troy suggested as Taylor nodded with a smile.
"We'll be there. Chad is gonna be pissed I knew before him" Taylor said causing the three to laugh.
"So who do you think will freak out the most between our moms" Troy asked as they drove towards Gabriella's parents' house. Gabriella laughed as she shrugged her shoulders and laced her hands with his.
"I have no idea. They might be pretty close in reactions though." Troy laughed as he nodded his head and the two pulled up in the Montez parking lot.
When the two met in college they were pretty shocked when they found out that Gabriella's family had just moved to New Mexico before she went away to college. He father was in the Marines which meant they traveled all over the world, but they settled on Albuquerque a couple of months before Gabriella started at UCLA. Needless to say, that made matters even better when it came to starting a relationship. Both their families became rather closer over the years and were ecstatic when the two got married.
When they pulled up, they noticed that Gabriella's sister was home as well. The two smiled at each other as they walked to the front door. They heard noise around back and realized that everyone was in the backyard, so they walked around back. Emily, Gabriella's sister, was the first to notice the two and screamed when she saw them.
"Gabs!" The two sister laughed as they hugged one another before Emily hugged her brother in law.
"I've missed you so much! How's law school?" Gabriella asked.
"Ugh remind me again why I decided to be a lawyer." Emily said causing the three to laugh.
"You've wanted to be a lawyer since you were like 10, its too late to turn back now and hey at least its summer break.'" Emily rolled eyes as the three walked into the house.
"More like 2 week break. I start my internship soon but hey what can you do. Mom! Dad!" Emily called to her parents.
"Hunny why are you…ahhh Ella!" Gabriella and Troy laughed as Gabriella's mom ran to hug her oldest daughter.
"Oh I haven't seen you all in forever." She pulled back to hug Troy as Gabriella rolled her eyes.
"Mom you saw us two weeks ago when we came over to have dinner." Jennifer Montez waved her hand causing them to laugh as Alexander Montez walked in the room.
"Well this is what all the screaming is about."
"Daddy!" Gabriella ran into her father's open arms causing him to laugh. Gabriella was by far one of the biggest daddy's girls. They had a close relationship despite him being shipped away for his job as a Marine.
"Hi Ella Bean. How are you?" Gabriella pulled back with a smile.
"I'm good."
"How you doing Troy? How's work? You keeping my girl safe?" Alex asked as the two shook hands.
"I'm good sir. Work is going good and yes I'm keep her safe." Gabriella rolled her eyes as these were the same questions her dad had been asking Troy since they've been together.
"What brings you guys by."
Troy smiled over at Gabriella as she bit her lip and he nodded his head.
"Well mom, we were at the store and we found this amazing gift for dad and we just had to bring it today."
Alex raised his eyebrow as he took the bag from his daughter. He noticed that Troy was recording but brushed it off. He looked over at his wife and youngest daughter who both shrugged their shoulders as Alex investigated the bag. He pulled out a small teddy bear and raised his eyebrow. He noticed the bear had on a shirt and when he read the shirt his eyes snapped over to his daughter and son in law.
"No way." Gabriella nodded her head as Alex started laughing leaving his wife and youngest confused.
"What?" Emily asked as she took the bear from her father. Emily and Jennifer looked down at the bear and their eyes grew.

The two Montez women screamed as they both tackled Gabriella.
"You're pregnant!" Emily screamed causing the Boltons to laugh. Emily rushed over and puller her older sister into a bone crushing hug as the two sisters jumped up and down.
"I'm going to be an Aunt!"
"Can I join in on this?" Gabriella looked at her mom who had tears in her eyes. Gabriella felt her eyes get watery as she smiled and hugged her mother.
"Congrats sweetheart. You're going to be an amazing mother." Gabriella let out a sob as the three women laughed together. Jennifer and Emily turned to hug Troy as Gabriella looked over at her father who was still looking down at the bear.
"Daddy..."
Alexander looked up at his daughter as he felt the tears her was trying to hold in fall. He just shook his head and opened his arms as Gabriella let out a small smile before running into his arms as if she was six again. Alex held his oldest daughter as the memories of her being six and cuddling with him as the two watched basketball came to his mind. He remembered her running into his arms when he returned back home from each of his tours.
Now she was 25, married, with a baby on the way. Where in the world did time go?
Gabriella pulled back and laughed as she saw her dad's face. "Don't cry daddy." Alex shook his head as he laughed.
"I'm okay, I just in awe. What happened to the six year old who followed me like my shadow?" Gabriella gave him a smile as she shrugged her shoulders.
"I'm still here. I'm just a wife and a future mom now." Alex laughed as he nodded his head and kissed her forehead.
"Congrats baby girl. I'm happy for you." Alex looked over at his son in law as the two shared a manly hug.
"Troy, you protect these two. Your job just became even more important." Troy nodded his head as he smiled at the man he saw as another father.
"Always sir." Gabriella smiled as she placed her hand on her belly and hugged her husband.
One family down, one to go.
"I feel like my mom is going to shit bricks when we tell her."
Gabriella laughed at her husband as the two drove to his childhood home after leaving her parents house. She smiled over at her husband as she saw the same smile and twinkle in his eyes that had been there ever since she told him the news. She had a feeling that this would be a permanent look at for the next couple of months and she was happy with that. The two pulled into the oldest Bolton's driveway before exiting their car and knocking on the door. 2 seconds later, the door opened to reveal Troy's father.
"Hey guys!" Jack hugged his son and daughter in law as he let them in the house. "What are you two doing here?" he questioned as her yelled for his wife.
"Troy! Gabriella! well this is a surprise." Anna Bolton said as she walked out of the kitchen and greeted the younger Bolton couple.
"Ah we were just in the neighborhood and decided to drop buy. We actually stopped at the mall earlier and found something for you two."
Anna and Jack both raised an eyebrow as they looked at the young couple. Gabriella giggled as her husband smirk and handed them the bag. Troy quickly took out his phone again so he could capture their reaction. Jack opened the bag and handed Anna one of the items as he grabbed the other item. The two unfolded the items to see that they were shirts. The front of the shirts were faced towards Troy and Gabriella so they couldn't read see what it said. When Gabriella told them to turn them around, they did as they were told and the younger couple watched as the older couple's eyes grew.
"What? Are...you..." Troy laughed as his father turned his shirt around that said
"The Best Parents get promoted to Grandparents"
Troy nodded his head as he pulled his wife in closer to him. "Yes, Gabriella is pregnant."
Anna screamed as she rushed towards the couple and pulled them into a hug.
"Oh My God! My baby is having a baby!" The young couple laughed as Troy tried to pry his mother off him.
"Mom can't breathe." Anna laughed as she pulled back and wiped her tears. Troy looked over at his father and smirked as he saw he was still looking at the shirt.
"You okay over there dad?" Jack looked up with tears in his eyes as he pulled his son into a hug.
"Congrats son." He whispered into Troy's ear as Troy hugged his dad close.
"Thanks Dad. I hope I'm as great as a dad as you were." Anna and Gabriella looked on at the moment with tears in their eyes as they shared another hug before Jack pulled Gabriella into a hug.
"This is so excited. I can't believe I'm going to be a grandpa!"
"Well you have 6 months before that happens."
"Oh my there is so much we need to get done. We have to plan the nursery, and the baby shower!" Anna walked of to the kitchen as Jack laughed.
"You do know she's about to call your mom. This baby will keep them busy for the next 6 months." The younger couple laughed as they remembered having to tell Gabriella's mother to wait to call Anna since they hadn't told them yet.
"Gabriella honey, your mother wants to talk with you." Anna yelled from the kitchen as the two men laughed causing Gabriella to roll her eyes.
"And so it begins."
Jack watched his son look at his daughter in laws retreating figure and couldn't help but smile. His son had the same exact look in his eye since the first time Jack saw them together. He remembered when Troy first introduced her to the family. He noticed from that moment that there was something special between his son and the young women who seemed to have captured his heart. He was happy to know that after all these years, his son was still as happy as could be.
"You're happy…" Troy looked over at his dad and nodded his head.
"Yea I am." Jack shook his head as the two men took a seat on the couch.
"No I mean you're really happy. You have this look about you. It's the same look I had when your mom told me she was pregnant for the first time." Troy blushed as he dropped his head and rubbed the back of his neck. Something he did whenever he was nervous.
"Honestly dad…" Troy looked back towards the kitchen to make sure his wife was nowhere around. "I'm scared shitless. I mean I'm happy as hell that we are having a baby but…we're having a baby. I'm going to be a dad. I'm going to have to care for someone other than myself. What if I mess up?"
Jack looked at his son and couldn't believe the man that was sitting in front of him. He remembered him being four and running behind his older brother or when he was 10 the two of them would play basketball. Where did the time go?
"Troy listen to me when I tell you that you are going to be fine. These are normal feelings to have. I had them. Hell, I had them every time your mother told me she was pregnant. I was nervous that I was going to mess up but you three turned out way better than I could even imagine. The only thing that matters is that you are there for your family. As long as that happens, everything else will fall into play." Troy smiled as the two men shared another hug.
"Now are you positive that I have a grandson in there?"
"Hey guys come on in." Troy opened the door wilder for the Danforths as they all smiled and shared greeting.
"Gabriella is in the kitchen come on." The three best friends and baby of the clan walked into the kitchen where Gabriella was setting up the table.
"There's my favorite godson." Taylor happily handed over Tyler to Gabriella with a smile as Chad rolled his eyes.
"Geez Gabi we're great thanks for asking." Gabriella laughed as she hugged the man she saw as a big brother.
"Hi Chad." Troy smiled over at his wife as she nodded her head. He looked over at his best friend with a smirk.
"So Chad, you think Tyler would prefer a girlfriend or a best friend?" Chad looked at his best friend confused.
What the hell was he talking about?
He looked between Troy, Gabriella and Taylor before looking at his son. When it finally clicked, his jaw dropped.
"No flipping way!" The three adults laughed as Tyler looked on confused.
"I'm 12 weeks pregnant Chad." Chad pulled his two friends into hug as his hands instantly went to Gabriella's stomach causing her to laugh.
"Congratulations guys. This is great, about time you knocked her up Bolton." Troy rolled his eyes before laughing as he watched Taylor slap her husband's arm.
"Chad!"
"What! I'm just saying I'm surprised she didn't get pregnant during the first year they were married." Gabriella rolled her eyes as she shook her head.
"Thanks Bro."
"So Tyler's getting a best friend huh?" Chad asked with a smirk causing Troy to smirk and the two women to groan and roll their eyes.
"For both of our sakes, I hope you have a girl." Taylor said causing Gabriella to laugh. The two women, along with baby Tyler, walked into the living room as the two men went out back to check on the food on the grill. Troy grabbed the two men a beer and handed one to his best friend.
"Seriously dude congratulations. You excited?" Troy laughed as he checked the steaks and nodded.
"Yea, I cried when she told me. I couldn't believe it." Chad laughed as nodded.
"Yea I feel you on that. I cried the day that Ty was born. It's like everything changed but it was a good change. You guys deserve it."
"Thanks man."
The two men clicked their beers as they walked into the house. They smiled as they looked into the living room and saw their wives playing with Tyler. Troy smiled as he watched his wife make Tyler laugh causing her to laugh.
"She's going to be an amazing mother." Troy whispered as his eyes seemed to twinkle. Chad smiled as he looked at his best friend.
"I guess you were right." Troy turned and looked at Chad confused as Chad smirked. "Remember when you said she was going to become the mother of your children."
Troy blushed as he clearly remembered that memory.
Troy smiled as he watched his girlfriend of 13 months finish out her dance routine. He loved watching her dance. She looked so graceful when she danced. He could watch her all day. His smile grew as he heard her laughing with some of her teammates. That was by far his favorite sound in the world. He couldn't believe how lucky he had been over the past year. She was everything he ever wanted. He watched as the dance team took a break and Gabriella walked over towards her water bottle. He smirked as he snuck up behind her causing her to jump and spin around in his arms.
"Troy! You know I hate when you do that." He chuckled as he kissed her cheek.
"Sorry baby I couldn't help it." Gabriella rolled her eyes as she shook her head.
"What are you even doing here. I thought you guys didn't have practice today."
"Coach called a meeting. I couldn't help but come early so I could see my favorite dancer." Gabriella smiled as raked her hands through his golden curls that she loved so much.
"You're a suck up."
"You love it." Troy whispered as he leaned in for a kiss. He pulled her close as she snaked her arms around his neck.
"Ugh will you two get a room." Troy groaned as he pulled back and glared at his best friend who was smirking behind him.
"Hi Chad." Gabriella giggled as her arms went to her boyfriend's waist.
"Can we help you. If you didn't notice, we were busy." Gabriella rolled her eyes at her boyfriend as Chad smirked.
"Yea we do have a meeting remember or did you forget because your tongue was too far down Gabi's throat." Gabriella blushed and laid her head in Troy's chest as Troy glared at Chad.
"How about you go and say hi to your girlfriend." Troy said as nodded his head over towards Taylor as Chad laughed and walked away.
"Now where were we" Gabriella laughed as she pulled her boyfriend down towards her.
"Ladies let go." Troy groaned again as Gabriella giggled. She turned her head towards her teammates seeing them all walk back over towards their coach. She turned back towards her boyfriend with a smile on her face.
"I gotta go but I'll see you later."
Troy smiled down at his girlfriend as he raked his hands through her hair. He nodded his head as he watched the eyes he loved so much shine.
"Yea. Wanna come over tonight to watch a movie. I'll order your favorite Chinese food." Gabriella nodded with a smile as she gave him a quick kiss.
"I'll come over at 6." Troy kissed her on the forehead before finally releasing her.
"Love you beautiful."
"Love you too handsome." Gabriella kissed his cheek before running back over towards her teammates. Troy watched her retreating figure as it made it his heart skip a beat.
"Dude you have some drool right there." Troy looked over at Chad who had a smirk on his mouth. Troy wiped his mouth and blushed as he realized Chad was right.
"Shut up." Chad laughed as the two looked at their girlfriends dance.
"She's gonna have my children." Chad raised his eyebrow as he looked at his best friend who seemed to be memorized by the brown-haired beauty.
"What was that?" Troy looked over at his friend with a small grin as he nodded his head.
"Yea that's my wife and the mother of my children."
"You know that after only dating for a little over a year." Troy's eyes went back to Gabriella as he felt his heart skip a beat watching her dance across the floor.
"I knew that after our first date."
"I guess all it took was one date for you to know that huh dude." Troy laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah what can I say she had me hooked from day one."
"Don't I know it."
Gabriella hummed the melody running through her head as she was washing dishes when she felt a pair of arms snake around her waist and a pair of lips on her neck. She giggled as she turned around and placed her arms around her husband's neck.
"Can I help you?" Troy smirked as he leaned down and pecked her lips quickly.
"Mmmm I was just admiring your beauty. I couldn't help myself."
"You never can." Troy shrugged his shoulders before attacking her neck causing Gabriella to moan.
"Baby come on I have to finish the dishes." Troy grunted which caused Gabriella to roll her eyes and push him away slightly.
"Hey what were you and Chad talking about earlier?" Troy looked at her confused before he blushed and looked down.
"Oh he was just saying how I said that you would be the mother of my children when were in college." Gabriella felt her heart melt as she pulled her husband's head up so that she was looking into his eyes.
"You thought about this in college."
"Almost everyday."
The amount of love that Gabriella saw in her husband's eyes almost made her knees go weak. They had been together for almost 10 years and she still couldn't get over the way that Troy looked at her as if she was the only women on the planet. Troy looked down at his wife as he couldn't help but pull her in for a passionate kiss. He leaned back against the counter as he pulled her closer to his body, as if that was even possible. Hands started to roam as Troy lifted Gabriella up as she wrapped her arms around his waist and her hands roamed through his hair. The two pulled back when air became an issue and Gabriella placed kisses along Troy's neck. Troy groaned as he tried to regulate his breathing which proved hard considering what was happening. He closed his eyes as he squeezed her waist.
"What happened to you having to do the dishes." Gabriella smirked as she pulled her head back and placed a passionate kiss on her his lips.
"Fuck the dishes." She whispered against his lips causing Troy to growl and carry his wife up to their bedroom leaving the dishes to the morning.
Troy laid in bed a little after 2:30am wide awake despite the two rounds of intense love making. His fingers were absentmindedly running through his wife's hair as she slept peaceful next to him. He knew he need to be asleep seeing as he had work tomorrow but he couldn't think about the events of today.
He turned his head and looked down at his wife and he couldn't help but smile. He had no idea at the age of 18 that he was going to meet the love of his life. The moment they first met in the café, she blew him away. Her smile, her laugh, her personality, all of it was so enchanting to him. 8 years later and she still is the most enchanting thing to him.
His eyes wondered down to her stomach and his smile couldn't help but grow. It still blew his mind to know that he was going to be a father come November. He always knew he wanted to have children. When he saw the baby on the screen, he felt his heart skip a beat. The child that their love created was on that screen. It was growing in her stomach. He thought she was the most gorgeous woman on the planet, but the bump made her even more beautiful. He couldn't help but think about their child.

Would it look more like him or her or be a mix of them both?

He slowly leaned down and kissed her stomach as he rubbed it. Silently whispering to her belly as to not disturb his wife's slumber. He looked back up at his wife and couldn't help put kiss her forehead.
"I love you Brie." Gabriella moved closer to her husband, nuzzling into his chest, causing him to smile and kiss the top of his head before finally dozing off to sleep.
