Chapter 1

Musa

Musa mentally thanked herself for transforming into her enchantix before sneaking out of Alfea otherwise the blinding light from the transformation would have alerted all of Red Fountain. She fluttered silently along the side of the building, safely landing in the balcony of the right room. Crouching, she cupped her hands against the glass to get a proper view inside.

Riven and Helia share a room so even after making it safely to their balcony she made sure to tap with the skin of her index finger instead of her nail. The last thing she wanted to do was get caught by Helia, the man was far too noble and virtuous; it made her feel like a chastised child whenever Riven and her got caught doing something as simple as making out.

Musa watched the two figures lying on the bed, neither moved so she did two quick taps again. This time Riven rolled over towards the window. She cheered silently, shaking her fists in the air as the man got up to open the door.

Rivens normally spiked hair lay limp against the top of his head, stray strands grazing against his cheeks. He silently walked over in only a pair of grey sweats. Rubbing his droopy eyes with a small, soft smile he pulled open the sliding glass door.

"Hey baby," he mumbled, voice gravely and deep

Musa couldn't help the shiver that ran through her whole body, she floated up to press her lips against his, wrapping her arms around his neck. She'd missed the feeling of his body pressed against hers, his warmth. Riven pressed his cool fingers and palms against her impossibly small waist pulling her into his embrace.

The fairy of music pulled away, running her fingers through his loose hair. "I've missed you so much."

The Specialists had been gone on a mission for four months before finally returning to Red Fountain just hours ago. Musa had to remember to thank Stella for screaming and letting all of Alfea know that the boys were back when Brandon texted her an hour ago.

"I've missed you too, come in." He pulled her in by hand, shutting the door as silently as possible.

Musa took the initiative to plop down onto his bed. Burrowing under the thick comforter she de-transformed leaving her in a pair of dark red cotton shorts and crop top, her hair falling loose, make up and jewelry vanishing. She settled against the headboard, Riven falling in right next to her.

Musa pressed her cheek against his shoulder, fingers lacing into his, "How was the mission?"

"It was pretty boring to be honest," He mumbled, "we were just transporting a runaway princess back home."

She hummed "Princess huh? Was she pretty?"

Riven grinned down at her "Not as pretty as you."

It was no secret that both Musa and Riven can be hot headed jealous people but after dating for two years and a lot of fights they'd learned to communicate properly and be happy together.

Musa smiled leaning up, "Good answer," She slid her hand to his cheek, pulling him down to meet her lips.

Her lips buzzed, warming against his. Musa never got tired of kissing Riven, it always felt like the first time all over again.

Riven wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her onto his lap. She smiled against his lips, sliding her legs to perfectly case his highs. Musa slid her hands against his chest then further down until-

"Please do not have sex when I'm in the room."

Musa startled back once Helia spoke. 'And here comes the embarrassment.' Musa thought.

"Sorry Helia," Musa smiled bashfully looking at the bed where Helia sat up on his forearms. "I should get going."

She slid off the bed waving to the long haired boy who smiled, waving back.

"What? Musa no!" Riven followed after her as she made her way to the door.

"I really need to go. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." She smiled, giving him a peck on the cheek before turning back to open the door and step onto the balcony.

"Helia you cockblock!" Riven hissed back at the man who was now laughing. Helia turned over, going back to bed.

Riven followed her to the balcony pulling Musa back into his arms from behind. "Musa you don't have to leave, Helia's just teasing."

Musa shivered as Rivens warm embrace fought against the chilly air. She almost let herself be convinced to stay as her boyfriend pressed kisses along the length of her neck but the embarrassment from earlier made her pull away.

"Riven I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow." Musa turned around in his arms, laughing softly as Riven groaned letting his head fall onto her shoulder.

"Go to bed baby, good night." She pressed a kiss to the side of his head

"Good night..." Riven mumbled burrowing further into her shoulder, "I love you."

Musa had to bite her lower lip to keep from laughing. Riven always had a problem expressing his feelings so it made her heart warm when he said that.

"I love you too." Musa whispered

Riven smiled pressing a kiss to the skin just under her collarbone before finally letting go of her.

Musa smiled at him before transforming into her enchantix, with one more look and a wave good-bye at her boyfriends sleep mussed face she started flying back. About half way through her journey through the forest she saw a mass of floating sparkles coming her way.

It was Stella.

Musa smiled, laughing when her and Stella came face to face.

"Hey Stella, going to see Brandon?"

"You know it!" Stella smiled, a coy look on her face, "On your way back from seeing Riven?"

"Yup!" Musa laughed.

They floated around each other, swapping places and slowly backing away before Musa spoke again, "Make sure you're safe!"

The fairy of music turned towards her destination and started flying away again as Stella gasps before yelling, "Musa!"

Musa laughs, making her way successfully back to her room, bundling back into her bed. She had truly missed Riven. Musa liked to think she was a very independent woman who would never need a man. It's still true, Musa doesn't need a man but she likes having a man, Riven specifically. She loved being around him, being in his solid warm arms. She loved it even when they fought because it meant they were communicating, rather poorly she'd admit, but still communicating. It didn't help that the rest of her friends would talk about missing their boyfriends because it just made Musa miss Riven. They were only eighteen but Musa liked to think her and Riven would be together for a long time...maybe even get married one day.

Musa squealed burrowing further under her covers, she couldn't stop smiling. Musa wasn't stupid, she knew they were too young for her to even think about something as serious as marriage and Musa liked to be realistic about her expectations about her life but sometimes she couldnt help but hope and dream.

So that's what the fairy of music did. She let sleep take her, dreaming about her future with Riven.

Hey guys I'm back! It's been years but I've recently gotten back into Winx Club and I'd like to finish the stories I planned years ago with a bit of tweaking. I'm thinking about crossposting this on AO3. I'm excited to be back can't wait to see what you guys think!
