3rd Person Pov
It was so sudden, with no warning or whatsoever. The girl just simply died peacefully in her room.
The girl's soul though, was alive, aware of what happened to her. Though she knew, she was neither in a panic or frenzy. She was confused.
"I thought I died." The soul talked as it stared down at its former body. It stared at the state her body was in, it was as if she was just sleeping, but no. She knew herself that she did die.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew her away from where she was. Realizing that it has no means of escaping the wind, due to being a small flicker of light, it let the wind carry her wherever it may stop.
It's travel seemed long and endless, and it soon fell asleep, the only sound it could hear was the wind.
A couple looked down on their newborn baby with warm smiles as it cried in its mother's arms.
"What will we name him, dear?" The woman said as she looked up at her husband.
"Hikaru. Just like the how the sky cleared when he was born. Hikaru, our sunlight." The man said and the woman smiled, chuckling a bit too.
"Such a simple name." She said and the man looked a little upset. "Hey.."
"But I like it." She followed up and surprised the man. The man smiled as he heard his wife say that.
"Hikaru, our son, our light." She murmured and nuzzled her cheek to the newborn. The baby touched his mother with his tiny hands.
"Fujimoto Hikaru-chan."
3 years later..
"Hikaru, look at the camera!" A man who looked like in his twenties said. He looked through the camera to see his beloved wife beside their three year old son.
"Papa, I'm jwust going tuo the schuool." The child murmured, still not able to speak clearly because of his age. Though, was intelligent despite his age which the parents noted, and so decided to start their son's school debut.
"It's your first day at school, we have to make sure to capture this moment." The boy sighed inwardly, not feeling up to it.
I'm literally a teenager inside. God, this is so embarrassing... Hikaru thought, and remembered how he endlessly wondered on why his past self's memories weren't removed.
"There! All good!" The father said and the two ushered their son to quickly go in the kindergarten before he could be late.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay, Hikaru-chan?" The mother asked and the boy looked back with a bright smile on his face that almost melted the other two if not of their recently built resistance of the cuteness of their son.
"Yeah! Bwye bwye!" Hikaru bubbly said and ran inside the school.
The boy went to the classroom that he was assigned to, and met gazes of children aeound his physical state's age.
As soon as the lesson started, Hikaru was bored to death because what he was going to do all year was study letters, sounds, and studies aimed for toddlers.
For the first time in my whole life have I wanted to be in college already... he thought
4 years later
Hikaru: 7 years old
First Grade
With his parents walking beside him, Hikaru wore a red backpack and casual clothes. The typical attire of a normal japanese elementary student. It has been seven years since he was reborn and he had no idea where in Japan he was. Maybe, he'll find out now since he was starting elementary school. It was all because of that kindergarten, not having any specific town names on their school name. Plus, he still can't believe the fact that he was male. All those years, male. Well, there's not much problem since I act like a guy back then..
"Are you nervous?" His father, namely, Fujimoto Shunji, asked, snapping Hikaru out of his thoughts.
Hikaru whipped his head back and forth to indicate a no but his parents just chuckled.
"Elementary huh? Our Hikaru is growing up so fast..." the mother, Fujimoto Himiko, said, placing one hand on her cheek, a troubled expression on her face.
"Ah, we're here!!" Hikaru said seeing the school and ran towards it, his parents watching happily as the boy did so
Hikaru stopped.
Soon, his parents catched up to him and they stood in front of the school. "How about it, Hikaru?." Shunji said.
"It does look nice." Himiko stated as she saw the school grounds.
But they got no response from the boy, and so, looked worriedly at their son.
Hikaru was standing their with wide eyes as he looked at the school's nameplate. The grip on his backpack loosening. He slowly brought up one hand and pinched his cheeks as hard as he can.
"OW!" he exclaimed and crouched down, her parents doing the same, worrying foe their son.
"Hikaru-chan, what happened?"
"Does anything hurt?"
His parents voices went through his ears. He couldn't believe what he saw but the pain was real. His pinch hurt real bad.
"..ru...aru...Hikaru..Hikaru?!" The boy blinked and looked at his sides to see his parent's faces. They looked so worried.
Hikaru quickly stood up and fixed his bag and clothes. "A-Ah.. I'm okay, I just happened to be happy to go to such a nice school!" The boy said but his parents still doubted what he said.
"Okay... but make sure to tell us if you have any problems.." -Himiko said and hugged her son.
After a while, Himiko and Shunji waved goodbye as Hikaru walked inside the school premises, waving back to his parents.
As soon as he was inside, his face darkened. How?... that plate clearly said.. Namimori primary school..
I'm pretty sure Namimori didn't exist in the real world. Except if this isn't the same dimension or world that I was in before. Does that mean I'm in the anime world? Specifically, the KHR world...
School ended and Namimori Primary was filled with children's chatter and laughs.
But not Hikaru. The boy had a dark aura around him as he experienced the same thing like when he was in kindergarten. Boredom. He was pretty laid back and a little lazy back then, but now, he just wanted to do something different.
What's more is that, no specific encounters to any characters that may indicate what timeline he was in. Hikaru sighed, a long one.
Hikaru looked up and saw his mother just outside of the gates, talking to someone who he cant see because of his position.
Mom is shy around strangers, so I guess whoever they are, they're pretty close... Hikaru thought so when he saw his mpther laughing as she talked.
"Mom, who are you talking..." Hikaru trailed off when he saw who his mother was talking to.
"Oh! Hikaru-chan! I was just about to pick you up from you classroom. Come here, I'll introduce you to my friend!" His mother said excitedly.
Hikaru walked towards his mother, srill shocked, but hid it with his passive face.
He looked up at the woman who was talking with his mother, and couldn't believe that what he was seeing was real.
"Hikaru-chan, go on, introduce yourself." Himiko said.
"...Fujimoto Hikaru.." Hikaru politely said at the other woman.
The woman smiled at him. "I'm Sawada Nana. Nice to meet you Hikaru-chan!"
Nana looked behind her and seem to make a silent conversation to whoever it was that hid behind her.
Don't tell me... Hikaru thought and just like he did think, a child peeked from the woman's leg.
The child had brown hair and eyes. Hikaru couldn't be anymore surprised by this sudden meeting with the very protagonist.
"Tsu-kun." Nana said and the boy hesitated before speaking.
"Tsuna..." And slightly hid behind Nana again.
"Sorry, Himiko-chan, my son is very shy." Nana placed a hand on her cheek.
The two conversed and laughed at intervals of their talk.
Hikaru took this as a chance to approach Tsuna, who was still hiding.
"Hey." He called and the boy flinched by the sudden conversation.
"Friends?" Hikaru geld out his hand with a smile. Tsuna looked between Hikaru's extended hand and face.
Tsuna hesitantly held out his hand but was soon grabbed by Hikaru and shook it. "Nice to meet you, Tsuna!" Hikaru said brightly and the other boy relaxed, a smile finally making its way to his face.
"Yeah!"
The two mother's watched as their children interacted with each other. A warm smile present on their faces.
A/N:
-Himiko has black hair and yellowish eyes. Though shy around strangers, she doesnt hold back to her close friends.
-Shunji has grey hair and green eyes. A doting parent.
-Hikaru inherited his eyes from his mother, and his hair from his father. Though his hair color is lighter than her dad.
-Hikaru's name was changed to not overlap with Miura Haru.
-Hikaru had a hard time coping with having his past life memories. It weirded him out how he naturally learned Japanese even though he already knew three other languages.
-Hikaru's parents considered the boy as talented and somehow a genius since Hikaru had matured earlier than normal infants (ooh... only if they knew the truth of Hikaru's knowledge lol )
-Hikaru had started studying Kanji secretlt at the age of 5, since it's like the hardest part of Japanese literature that he will encounter soon.
